The Ancient Genes Chapter 311

"Good! Let's sentence him to death….."
The Assistant felt sweat rolling down his forehead as he looked at the Mage King. He really had daughter issues....
"Sir, I don't think that's possible…." the Assistant said with a troubled look.
"Hmmm? Why?" The Mage King asked with a frown.
"There has been a message from the Head of Kingsman family, he asked you to not to overdo it…." the Assistant replied with a worried face.
"Why is that Old Man suddenly interfering with our work? Even the message from a few days before and now this….the Ancient Families shouldn't be interfering with the human world unless things….." The Mage King paused as he thought about it. There were indeed troubles emerging but it wasn't at the level that they couldn't handle. So there shouldn't be any reason for them to ne interfering....
"Did it say anything else?" The Mage King asked as he looked at the Assistant.
The Assistant forced a smile on his face and his face twitched as he looked at the content of the message once again…
"What is it?" The Mage King asked with creased brows.
"Umn...he says ' I am counting on you. Don't make me lose faith in the Noble Houses…..recently I have been thinking that there might not be a need for them after all. Hahaha…..' and that's it." The Assistant didn't even dare to look at the Mage King and kept his head buried under the file in his hand. The last line was anything but funny. He couldn't laugh at all.
The Mage King didn't look good at all, his face had turned gloomy.
'Just what is going on here…..and that old man, isn't he basically threatening us...' the Mage King help but think as lines began to appear on his forehead.

Was it possible that the Kid was from the Ancient family?
The Mage King shook his head, he just couldn't understand the motive behind the incident then. If it was just to kill someone so insignificant, was there even a need to make a personal move? Not to mention, why would they even need to kill someone from the Noble House….
No matter what the Mage King tried, he just couldn't understand what was going on. Open thing was clear though, the Kid definitely had something to do with the Kingsman family….
"Sent a letter to the Von Family. The Kingsman has been going out of their way, we should at least inform them….'' The Mage King said as he sighed.
"Sir, about this case…how shall we proceed..." the Assistant couldn't help but ask in a low voice.
"Handle it with caution..... The old man has already said his thoughts....we just can't ignore that.…or do you want to see the 12 Houses slaughtered…." The Mage King said in a grumpy voice.
….
On the other side, the guards took the students involved in the incident and the situation finally calmed down…
"Will everything be fine? That idiot is not dead it seems…" Reinard said as he walked beside James.
"So what if they even find out about his change? It's not like they can track it back to us. Besides, even if he survives, a confession from a single person, can it really be considered an evidence…..not to mention, I doubt whether the Edwinson house will even disclose the fact, they might just dispose of the trash and put all the blame on that guy for his death…" James said with a smile as he calmly walked away with confidence. He had seen what he wanted to and even though Victor's sacrifice wasn't a part of his plan, it wasn't that bad….he had to dispose of him in the end as he was too emotional. Even till today, he hadn't brought any valuable information. It was unknown whether it was due to his status in his House or his unwillingness to do so.

"I will get him disposed…I don't want to take any chances..." Reinard said with a frown. He didn't want this chance he got to go in vain.
"Feel free to do so, " James replied with a calm face. "But I doubt whether Edwinson House can save him without a Healer…"
The Edwinson House didn't have a healer, getting one from someone else meant letting Victor's secret out…..he was dead for sure…..
…
A while ago….
"Ah! It's here I can see it…." A cheerful childish voice sounded and the boy standing on the roof pointed towards the Ambulance driving towards their way.
"Master Felix, you will fall. Please watch your steps…." The guard beside him said with sweat sweeping down his forehead. He really had no idea what they were going to do when he offered himself for the job on this little master's call.
Yes, it was Bahamut and one of his followers here and they seemed to be waiting for something….
"Do you think I will get hurt falling from a mere 4 storey building?" Felix said as he pulled the popsicle out of his mouth.
'Most people at your age would….' The guard felt like crying as he was once again made to realise the fearsomeness of this little master. He used to be a cute little boy until a while ago and couldn't even lift a stick.
"Follow me! We can't let this opportunity go…" Flix said as a club appeared in his hand and his appearance changed to that of a man with rippling muscles and tan skin.
"Stop!" Bahamut screamed as he landed right on the hood of the Ambulance.
"Bang!"
The driver immediately stepped on the brakes in shock and the vehicle skidded through the road and made two sharp screeches before coming to a stop.
The back gates of the Ambulance were immediately furled open and two men in the uniform of the guards walked out holding their heads with a serious look on their face.
"Who are you?" The guard asked with a frown. This didn't look good. They had to hurry to the hospital with the patient needing urgent treatment.
"I didn't get a chance….I will have my full share now…." Bahamut said with a smile looking all excited.
The guard didn't understand the meaning behind Bahamut's words but before her could say anything else, Bahamut's club was already on it's way to crush him.
"Bang!''
The man immediately dodged the attack and the club struck the road forming a crater at the place of impact.
The man immediately immediately pulled his knife out and beckoned his partner for help, "Let's deal with him together, we don't have much time…."
But when he looked back, his eyes widened as he saw his partner lying unconscious with another man standing beside his body.
"Ah!! No fair!! I said they were mine…" Bahamut looked at his follower with an annoyed look on his face.
"Young Master, we don't have much time. If that person dies, wouldn't it be all for nothing…." The man said with a sigh.
"Fine…" Bahamut replied a bit upset.
"Well then, I will finish it soon." He further said before turning to the man with the knife, "Are you ready Mr.?"
