Max and Lisa returned to the Manor after meeting with the Lord. As soon as Max entered the room, he saw his Aunt rushing towards him and hugging him.

She was Janet's mother, Vitni.

"I am sorry, Max…" She whispered in his ears which surprised Max a bit. "Even though I am not your mother….I will try my best to give you the warmth that she must have wanted too…"

Max didn't know how much she knew but it seemed she wasn't feeling good about it. When his parents were here, the children weren't and now that the children are here the parents aren't.

"It's fine Aunt…" Max didn't have any idea what else to say. He didn't have any relatives until now, and the first one he interacted with was his grandfather who was kind of a jerk.

He didn't know how to deal with this emotional Aunt of his. He would be glad if they were just people who he could be straightforward with. But it didn't seem this Vitni was that type of person.

It was almost unbelievable that she gave birth to Nathan…

Seeing Max smile, she felt her heart ache. She had heard everything alongside Razel. She would be the next Lady of the House after all. It was a title given to the Lord's wife.

"Sniff! Sniff! Sob!"

"Huh?'' Max froze as he saw Vitni crying.

'Is she really qualified to be in this place where even brothers conspire against each other…'

Max looked towards Lisa for help and she then looked towards Janet.

"Mom! Why are you crying?!!" Janet came towards her with a worried look.

"I am just happy….these are tears of joy…." Vitni said as she wiped her tears off.

"I will go prepare for dinner. I will let you taste your Aunt's cooking…" Vitni said with a smile.

"I will have it another day, Aunt. I am on duty today. I will have to take these two Young Misses back home." Max said as he pointed at Elly and Aria.

Vitni's brows twitched for a second and she turned her head to look at the two girls.

Aria and Elly didn't know how to react. How did it turn into this? They were the guest here and then the servant they brought was the Grandson of the Lord.....what kind of situation was this?

"You two will stay here tonight…." Vitni smiled.

'Aunt why does it sound more of an order than a request?' Max muttered inwardly.

Aria and Elly smiled awkwardly before nodding. How in hell could they refuse? She wasn't giving them any option to begin with….

"Why don't you stay too, Lisa?" Janet asked. In order to get Max to stay, they only needed Elly and Aria to stay, that might be the reason her mother may have forgotten about her….so she asked her out…

"Why is there even a need to ask? She is staying obviously…" Vitni said with a smile looking at her.

'Ah! She knows about it as well….' Max felt another headache. In the end, he just took a step forward and whispered a few words to her.

"Oh! I see…." Vitni smiled in realisation.

Janet and others looked at them not knowing what was going on.

After Vitni left, Max looked at Lilly who was still asleep. It seemed she would be sleeping for another few hours.

"You wanna go on a raid tonight as well? Is your wound from yesterday better?" Max suddenly asked Lisa as he muttered in a low voice.

"It's just a scratch, I am fine….." Lisa replied.

"Get in contact with Lear and Wilson too. I have something to do now…'' Max said. He just wanted to let them know each other. If he kept being the mediator, there was a chance that he couldn't get the best out of them. Teamwork and Unity wasn't something that could be born out of nowhere....

"Ok.." Lisa nodded.

Max then walked toward Elly.

"I have an appointment, since you two will be staying here. I will take my leave for a while…" Max said as he looked at her.

Elly nodded.

After Max left, the situation returned to normal.

"Congratulations, You finally got a little brother that you always wanted…" Elly said with a smile.

Janet's face turned dark at her comment, "Honesty, I still can't believe this…."

"Well no one can, probably..isn't this a bit too dramatic…" Aria said with a sigh. Even she couldn't believe this dramatic turn of events.

"Well, I am more interested in something else." Elly said as she turned towards Lisa.

"What?" Lisa asked in confusion.

"Something is going on between you and him. You two seem more than friends to me…" Elly said with squinted eyes. She was interested just how could he change Lisa like that….it seemed she was like an obedient child in front of him.

As soon as they heard that, Aria and Janet immediately turned towards Lisa. After seeing what happened today, they too felt it hard to believe that they were just friends….

Lisa could feel that there was no escaping. Just what was she supposed to say, we are trying to save the world from the dark powers?

"I saw you two whispering something before he left. When did you learn to nod so obediently?" Elly further said with a smile.

"Fine, we are more than friends…" Lisa suddenly said.

Janet looked at Aria and Lisa too. Elly suddenly realised that the misunderstanding wasn't clear.

Aria looked at her….there was a pause in her actions before she smiled, "He is a jerk just to let you know…."

"Calm down...I mean that we have a Master and Student relation…" Lisa had planned to say this from the start. After all it was not a lie.

But still she didn't expect that reaction….was she trying to get her to dump Max.

"He is a friend and kind of Master too….so obviously I have to listen to him…." Lisa said as she gave an awkward smile to Aria, "Don't worry, I am not going to steal him from you.."

"W-Who wants him!!!! Don't get me wrong. I was just worried about you….why do you have to train under that jerk...just looked at him….trouble follows him like a crazy lover…." Aria replied as she defended her actions.

"Ahhh!!! She is being a Tsundere…" Janet teased her.

"Shut up!"

"I mean if you want to train, I could help you." Arai said as she looked at Lisa.

"He is stronger than you and he has my Grandpa's acknowledgement...if you can beat him and get my grandpa's acknowledgement. I don't really mind training with you…." Lisa replied.

Aria could not refute her any further after hearing that. She knew that she couldn't defeat Max. He just crushed a Celestial a few minutes ago without breaking a sweat…

"Come on...you went so far why don't you just admit that you like him…" Janet continued to tease.

Aria glared at her before giving up. There was no use in butting heads with them.

"Aria, did you have s*x with Max?" Elly suddenly asked.

"Huh?" Aria looked at her. She seemed to have heard something wrong it seems.

"Did you and Max do it? I am talking about s*x…" Elly asked with each word more clearer than the last.

Her words froze everyone. Lisa and Janet looked at her with red cheeks.

'She said it!!!'

They then looked at Aria who seemed to be in a daze.

"W-Wh-Wha-Whattt-What are you talking about!!! Like in hell I did, something so shameless with him!!!!"

Elly turned towards the perverted duo and said, "You hear her….so let's end it here...I had my share of fun…"

"Well then, I will take a nap…" Elly said as she got up to leave.

"Wait!!! Will someone explain what's going on here?" Aria asked. She was having a bad feeling looking at the perverted duos expressions.

A few minutes later…

Aria's face was red as she heard Elly explain everything. How the misunderstanding unfolded and that the two were talking about two different things probably…

"Now….how should I kill you two…" Aria suddenly turned around as she pulled her sword out.

But she suddenly found their seat empties...

"They ran away a minute ago…" Elly calmly replied.

"I am not going to let them off.." Aria gritted her teeth. Her cheeks still had a shade of redness on them.

"By the way, I still don't get one thing…."

"What?" Aria turned to look at Elly who giving her a meaningful smile.

"What were you doing with him on a bed? That too naked…."

….

"Huff! ...It seems... Huff! ... we are safe…" Janet said as she continued to pant.

'Sh*t! I messed up again!!!!' Lisa screamed in her mind. Her forehead was full of sweat.

"Are you fine? I don't think she is chasing us…" Janet said looking at her face.

"Yeah…" Lisa replied.

'Even if Aria doesn't like Max, Max didn't show any interest either...so it shouldn't be problematic…..' Lisa thought to herself.

On the other side, Max finally entered the store.

"Finally, you have time for your childhood friend…."

Max looked at the person and smiled.
