"We are here...let's go…" The headmaster said as they arrived at the outer district.

Max looked around a bit. He could feel the overbearing energy around the place.

'First Grade Energy?'

A light flashed past his eyes. It was definitely a first grade energy. It was weaker than both flow energy and spirit energy but it had definitely far surpassed mana. He quietly took a step away from others to have a better look at it.

He concentrated and found that the energy had formed a gigantic complex formation around the whole district.

Max quietly released his domain and tried to probe the formations.

But the next instant, he immediately withdrew it when he felt another conscious energy around within it.

Until now the people with second-grade energy weren't able to sense him but he was not sure about these people.

"You are going in as well today…"

Max turned his head only to find Kain standing beside him.

"Yeah…"

"Well, you better take care of my sister…" Kain said in a low voice.

"Leave it to me…" Max nodded. He knew the guy wouldn't let it go if he didn't reply like that.

"By the way, was it your idea….I mean Mark is your friend right…" Kain said with a smile but Max could feel the anger hidden beneath.

"It is just a misunderstanding. I actually didn't want to trouble Mark with all of these and hence didn't ask for his help even though we were lacking people. But, he somehow managed to find out about it...there is really no strings attached to it..." Max forced a smile on his face.

"You think I am a fool?...Anyway, don't worry, I won't take it out on you and my sister...but I can't guarantee for the rest…you better watch out." Kain said as he looked at him.

"Brother...why are you here? And could you ask your teammates to stop glaring at us…" Lisa and others were about to walk into the formation where they finally noticed that Max was talking with Kain.

"Why do you look so confident?" Kain asked with an amused look.

"Of course we will win…" Lisa said with puffed-up chest.

"Is he the source of your confidence? Love surely has gotten to your head…" Kain shook his head before leaving.

He absolutely had no idea that he had just dropped a bomb.

Max looked at Lisa. Didn't they ask it to be kept a secret?

«Lisa: We only asked to keep the engagement a secret…and we are together most of the time so...he might have thought we were open about it...»

"Uhmn…" Beli coughed lightly to catch their attention.

Eren was looking with interest too. Some loudmouth had already informed him that Max had a girlfriend. Although he wasn't told who the girl was…

Max looked at Lisa and she looked at him as well. She was nervous, afraid of the secret coming out…

"It's one-sided. I actually turned her down since I already have a girlfriend.." Max abruptly said, making Lisa's face twitch and a vein popped up on her forehead.

"We are still good friends though...right?" Max asked as he looked at her.

Lisa looked at Max and smiled. It was an extremely sweet one but only Max could see the true meaning behind it.

"Yeah...we.. are...good.. friends…" Lisa said as her eyes continued to linger on Max.

"Anyways let's get going…" Max said and hurried up not wanting to continue further on the subject.

He then along with others before finally entering the formation.

"It certainly is realistic…." Max muttered as he looked around. He found himself standing on a lake. Luckily, his water element was extremely strong or he would have definitely not been able to react in time.

"Grr!"

The water surface began to quiver and ripples began to spread around.

Max looked below his eyes piercing through the surface of water.

The next instant, he raised his foot and after a slight pause, smashed into the water.

"Boom!"

Water rose into the sky from the impact and when it fell again, Max was gone.

A few seconds later, a Black Head Shark's body floated on the surface of the lake.

Max had already begun to move. He took out the invisible cloak and disappeared since he didn't want to come under the broadcasting surveillance.

He sensed that Axel was the one closest to him and began to move in his direction.

"Are you sure your teammates haven't forfeit? We even met the guys from Orca, Blue Water, West Wind but none from Ocein." Axel said as he looked at her.

The two of them had been quietly moving and had been avoiding all kinds of danger.

"They must be far away from here.. " Erina said as she looked at him.

"Hmmn...someone is fighting... let's go and have a look...I might be able to get rid of yo- I mean they might be your teammates…" Axel said as he looked at her.

Erina gave him a look but didn't say anything in the end.

They turned around and quietly found a place to see what was going on.

"It's them…." Erina's eyes lit up when she finally found out that the two students fighting the group of beast's were her two teammates.

She almost stood up to help when Axel caught her hand and pulled her down.

"What can you do in your current state...let them handle it…" He said with a frown.

"They are outnumbered….." Erina said as she looked at her teammates.

"So what? You wanna die with them?" Axel frowned.

"You were trying to get rid of me...isn't this the chance….let me go." Erina said as she tried to free herself.

A vein popped up on Axel's neck. He had gone through so much trouble to save her, even wasted his precious bullet. If she wanted to die it was fine but not right after he saved her and specially not in front of his eyes....

"No, sorry but I don't want my hard work to go to waste right in front of my eyes this soon. You are not going anywhere…." Axel finally snapped and put her into a choke hold.

"If you can break free, you are free to do what you want…" Axel said as he tightened his legs around her waist. He really had enough of this sh*t.

Erina struggled desperately before she suddenly rolled around managing to get Axel above her as she tried to get up onto her feet.

Axel was surprised. She was recovering pretty fast for some reason.

But…

He lightly blew his breath on Erina's ears and she immediately quivered and her strength flew out of her body.

"You better keep lying down here...until it's over. Don't test my patience….it will be more than just a breath next time...I might as well send you out this competition myself if you really are so adamant on it…"

"You...will…get a...penalty….if you...attack me and...send me out…" Erina muttered with difficulty.

"Isn't this mutual love that we are hugging each other. As long as you stay down there won't be any trouble..or I really don't mind taking the penalty…" Axel was determined.

This pair of siblings really thought that he was weak and could be easily bullied?

If Axel sent Erina out of the competition by way of choking, it definitely wouldn't cause serious harm to her.

Now it all depended on her, if this girl really tried to refuse his kind intentions then he would personally send her out because he had enough.....and if Wilson burned his stuff then he would take revenge....

He had already been doing his research on a new formation in order to deal with Wilson as August after what happened last tim. Once it was complete, he would beat them both at the same time.

"What are you two doing?''

A familiar voice suddenly ran next to them breaking Axel and Erina's train of thought along with their struggle.

The duo raised their heads only to see Max standing in front of them.
