Prologue

Somehow, I’m suddenly lying on a bed that I’ve never even seen before. Besides that, a man is here with me. He’s so attractive that it seems like he came out of a novel. But, what if he’s staring at me in a hostile way? How should I react?

“……”

Who are you? What are you doing? Why am I here? Do you know me?

There was only one reason why she couldn’t get herself to ask him even though her head is full of questions. The sole reason for that is because the man was looking at her with a murderous look.

‘…..Please. Say something first, please.’

Min-ha looked at the man eagerly without saying a single word. Now that she looked closely at him, she had a better look at the man’s face and physique, which certainly made her heart flutter.

Smooth black hair, cold glowing blue eyes, a pointed nose, and a stubborn mouth that doesn’t know how to smile. Even his height captivated her. It’s like he’s a man from a romantic fantasy novel, tall enough to look at Min-ha for a long time.

He looked like the heroine of a novel who stood out the most because of his face and physique. However, Min-ha couldn’t admire his face for long because his eyes were focused on her. It was irritating and unpleasant. Then, the man muttered in a pissed tone.

“…..Ha. I wonder what else this could be about.”

“…..Pardon?”

What does he mean by that? Min-ha replies saying, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” The man snorted and continued.

“I came here because the maid was making such a fuss about it as if something dangerous happened to you, yet you seem fine. Did you order her to say that because you didn’t want to be kicked out?”

“What?”

“I thought you were so eager to divorce me since I was just a lowly husband and a common person. But now, you’re afraid to divorce me?”

“What are you talking about? What did I say to you?”

“You were disgusted with me, but loved my wealth. Is money that important to you? Enough for you to act like this?”

“….Hey, hold on a second!”

What does he mean? Min-ha was bewildered with the man’s criticism. What maid? What acting? And, what are you talking about? This man…and I? Min-ha hurriedly stopped the man from speaking and stared at him blankly.

“What do you mean by husband? Did you marry me? And, who are you?”

The man’s face became instantly cold the moment Min-ha asked him those questions. It’s as if he heard something ridiculous come out of my mouth.
