"So, how did it go?"
Back in the construction site of our house, Eve was already busying herself with preparing yet another feast for the three of us, while both Celleria and Otto were nowhere to be seen.
"Rather good. I managed to convince him to get someone to carry away all the prey that I will hunt, bringing us the huge portion of the money for the haul instead. Thanks to this, I won't have to bother carrying everything to the market in order to obtain some basic resources. Could you imagine doing that?"
Laughing out loud, I made sure to turn the volume of my words up to the point that as long as Otto was anywhere near our place, he would have to hear them. After all, the true visit to Lord Makay was aimed not at dealing with this small annoyance, but at offering him my help and possibly trying to sound him off about the system…
But who could've known that he would turn out to be someone far more powerful than me?
"That's good. By the way, the food should be ready in about an hour. As great as this meat is, it's quite problematic to get it to properly release its taste. Otto said that infusing the water with one's energy could help, but to be fair, I don't think that a meal done with such cheating could still taste as good."
Dressed in nothing more but a single layer of thin cloth, even while standing above the fireplace and pot filled to the brim with water, Eve still looked far better than any of the fake instakilogram or facenovel celebrities, that made their way up the top either with their photoshopping skills, sleeping with the right person or just acting even dumber than the audience that actually watched them.

"That's great. I will use that time to work on the house for a bit. Since I made the deal with the Lord, I don't think there is any point in trying to make our own clothes. It will be far easier and efficient to just buy them with the money that we will receive soon."
Taking care of the clothes was something that I had to do. Even though it could be considered to be wasteful, I was set on creating an entire room designated only for Eve's clothes so that she would always have something that I could rip apart at the lust notice.
"I think that's a good idea. As great of a smith and builder you are, I don't think you would be able to create some real clothes as well. I have a feeling that all of them would end up just accepting the parts of me that you love so much…"
Sending me a wink, Eve returned to mixing the liquid in the pot with her wooden ladle, unwilling to let go of being the one to end the discussion. Even though I could only see the back of her hide and just a little bit of her profile, I still saw the hints proving that her lips actually curved up.
Unwilling to break her fun, I simply shook my head while admitting to herself how full of truth her words were. In fact, even while looking at the skins that were initially about to be used for clothing, I could see nothing but all sorts of swimming suits and cosplay outfits that I would be able to use them for, instantly imagining Eve's allures dressed in those lewd clothes!
"Fuck me in the ear, I need to focus."
Shaking my head and muttering under my own nose, I did my absolute best to cast aside those impure thoughts, even though I only managed to drive them to the corner of my mind rather than completely destroying them at their core. Pulling my head up, I cast a look at what I hoped to rather quickly turn into a mansion.

And just this one look was enough to remind me that building a damned house wasn't something that one should be able to finish in a single day! Even though it could already fill the role of the temporary and actually comfortable shelter, I wasn't willing to let the two of us with added freeloader to live in such a simple place!
"Let's start with the insides."
Using my own voice as to better direct my own actions, I grabbed all the tools and materials that I believed I would need and moved inside. Even though so far, the entire building was nothing more but a scar on the beauty of the surroundings, I simply couldn't take care of everything at once. With how Eve would spend most of her time either in the garden or trying her best to decorate the insides of the building, fixing all the problems that could arise in its inner part took the absolute priority!
"Let's start with the bedroom."
With the lewd thoughts of mine resurfacing in my mind, I entered the place where our temporary bed was located. In one instant, I could see all sorts of various toys handing from the walls and the ceiling, always in place to help us have even more fun than human bodies were initially designed to have.
But rather than following this drift, I dutifully placed everything at the hardened earth used for the floor, before taking a simple knife and one of the planks that I just so happened to prepare yesterday.
"It can't be that rough, can it?"
Once again speaking to myself, I created my crafting orb and turned the only metal tool that I had into a proper planing device. Forcing it down on the desk, I started to push the now reformed blade against the wood, nibbling tiny layers of the plank with each move.
Yet, as I continued to smoothen the planks that I wanted to use on the floor of the room, my mind already drifted away. This kind of mundane task didn't require me to focus on it, allowing my mind to take care of one thing that I was still putting aside due to the lack of time.
The rewards for casting my apocalypse class spell!
