And thus, most of the duo’s honeymoon plans needed to be remade from the ground up.

Thus, the two filled up the gaps in their plans with things that didn’t need a reservation, such as playing at the beach in the Cordia’s aquarium resort or going on a mini-tour of scenic places with Astar’s yacht.

Noah, as a little orphan whose expeditions outside his city could be counted on the fingers of one hand, naturally didn’t have high requirements for a fun trip. As long as they were going somewhere new that wasn’t a dump or life-threatening, he’d look forward to it with shining eyes.

“Father-in-law,” Levi politely nodded his head, but his eyes spoke of a different story, ‘How come I’ve never seen you guarding your daughter’s chastity this enthusiastically in the 6 years I’ve been dating her?’ (°ㅂ°╬)

“Son-in-law,” Cordia daddy nodded back, but his smile expressed a clear ‘Gee, I wonder. (°ㅂ°╬) How come I’ve never seen you sneaking into my daughter’s room in the middle of the night over the 6 years you’ve been “dating” her?’

The eyes of the two combatants locked. Thunder and lightning rumbled in the background. Sparks flew in the air!

The one very clueless sheep, that was being led by the arm into a wolf’s den by the den’s owner himself, “Hey, dad. We are going to retire for tonight. You should rest up early, too.” ╰(*°▽°*)╯

The two combatants whose faceoff of life and death was interrupted so anticlimactically, “…”

Cordia daddy avoided looking into the clear eyes of his gullible offspring and instead eyed the wolf’s hand that was wrapped around the mentioned offspring’s upper arm. “You are going to retire for tonight? In Levi’s room?” (ꐦ ◠‿◠)

Noah didn’t notice the sharpness within the words and waved it away with a melodious puff of laughter, “No, I’m just going over to help Levi fall asleep with my soothing.”

Cordia daddy shot his son a profound look, “And how long will that take? If he refuses to fall asleep, what will you do? Sleep next to him until the morning?”

Not expecting such a question, Noah blinked his large eyes and tilted his head in confusion, “My soothing is very effective; there should be no issues in helping him fall asleep–” Noah abruptly halted his words. If his father’s exasperated expression was anything to go by, he might have misinterpreted the other’s meaning.

Noah paused to recall his father’s words, “…If he refuses to fall asleep?” Then his eyes widened, and a giggle escaped him, “What do you take him as? A child throwing a tantrum? He wouldn’t do that!”

At that moment, Cordia daddy made a perfect picture of a father whose son failed to live to expectations. He let out a long sigh of disappointment, wrote his son off as a failed cause, and moved onto the real ‘enemy’ here.

“Oh, right! Son-in-law…” Cordia daddy’s face warped into a big smile, making him resemble an old fox. “Have you had a word with your father yet?”

No one can stop me from sleeping with my precious tonight!’ Levi turned his nose up at this pitiful move from his opponent. What a futile attempt of a counter! ‘Heh, father-in-law, it’s your loss this time! Let me tell it to you upfront! Even if the end of the world arrived right at this moment, I’d still be sleeping with your son tonight!’
