After Xiao Ai went back home at night, she seemed a little exhausted. Usually she would walk straight up to check on Gu Bojing and change her clothes but this time, she just comfortably slumped on the couch. Her feets sprawled in an unlady like manner.

Gu Bolin was in the kitchen cooking when he heard the unhurried footsteps from the living room. Taking a look he saw his sister in law sprawled on the couch messing with the TV remote.

"Is everything okay with the company?" She asked placing the cup on the tray while picking an apple.

Which she wasn't used to in the past.

Gu Bolin ignored his sister in law as he focused on the stired fried beef he was making.

Could she be serious for once. He was about to give her a reply when he saw his brother descending the stairs.

"Hubby..." Xiao Ai called out in a sweet manner widening her arms, asking for a hug.

Gu Bojing smiled faintly and walked over pulling her in for a tight hug.

Gu Bolin quickly looked away almost coughing but holding it in since he was cooking.

"Brother told me about what happened? Will the tax force come to inspect your company? Haven't you guys been honest with the government?" She asked while still buried in his warm embrace.

Gu Bojibg tightened his grip on her waist as he pulled her closer wanting to melt her with himself.

When he saw her lazily walk out of the car from the study he couldn't help but feel like he had let her down. But even if he wanted it help there was nothing he could do as Xiao Ai would not accept his help. She had always loved the feeling of being independent.

"It's fine. It's not a huge problem." he assured sending a glare to the back of Bolins head who quickly shuddered and dared not look back sensing his brothers glare. " Zhao Baozhai should be returning to the hospital by next week. Aunty said she wouldn't get her pay for six months instead."

Xiao Ai finally manged to free herself from his hug. Recently she felt that this man was becoming more and more clingy.

"En. Its fine. After all I also got a reduction in salary. Hmmph...serves her right."

Gu Bolin turned around preparing the dishes in the plates while Xiao Ai managed to help him set the table. Not able to hold back his curiosity he glanced over at his sister in law before carefully asking.

Helping her get back to the hospital was definitely not a way of getting revenge on someone like Baozhai.

"Mrs Gu congratulations on joining the Mo family." Gu Bojing said a charming smile on his lips as he raised his glass of water.

Xiao Ai sat and stared for a while clearly taken away by this man's beauty.

After a while she composed herself and raised a glass of water too saying 'thank you' before she turned back to Bolin.

"Why should I destroy her in one blow if I can make her feel the pain of slowly losing things. Her mother back then was shameless enough to take my mother's place. Mother doesn't say much about it but I know she was clearly affected by that matter. Madam Dong was her own cousin after all. She clearly didn't expect such from her. I just want to sit back and enjoy the show. Both Mother and Daughter in few months should be visiting the rehabilitation centre." she finished slowly chewing on her food.

Gu Bolin was startled as he paused his hands

"What token?" Gu Bolin added his voice low and laced with jealousy. He knew how she was in the past so mentioning that she gave someone a token made him alert.

Xiao Ai was about to complain that they had still done it two days ago, but her ringtone suddenly interrupted them.

Gu Bojing reached out to her phone but Xiao Ai stopped him.

Gu Bojing waved the phone in her eyes . When Xiao Ai saw the caller she quickly grabbed the phone and distanced herself from Gu Bojing.

Holding the phone to her ears, she had a sweet expression on her red face.

"Uncle, its been a while. Hows aunty doing? How's my Jenny? Yes yes...I am sorry. I wanted to call but have been bus...what! What did you say? My Jenny? When did that happen? Who would dare to?" "Hubby, remember I told you I used to be bad. Very bad. I think someone is trying to mess with me indirectly. Jenny has been misisng since this morning." She hurriedly explained still having a pained expression on her beautiful face.

Gu Bojing looked confused for a while and slowly patted her back.

"Who's jenny?"

"I want to feel you." She seductively whispered. Her face coated in a layer of pink as she looked into his eyes.

Xiao Ai knew she might have to stay for a while in City S.

She was slowly getting addicted to this guy.

She felt that if she didn't say it now, she might regret.

There were words on the tip of her tongue. Ready to be poured but Xiao Ai suppressed it as her lips formed into a thin line.

Suddenly Gu Bojing lifted her up earning a loud gasp from her.

As he shut the glass doors, Xiao Ai felt a little regret in her mind.
