Xiao Ai and Lifen briskly walked to Xu Nings ward after they heard that the nurses and doctors were giving her a grand closing.

Truly Xu Ning deserved it. She had been in the hospital for more than a year now, though only Xiao Ai knew Xu Ning was just faking it. Now that Cheng Che was detained in the military she was as free as a birds wing only if she wanted to stay away from her gang.

When they got to the ward, they realised that people from both Psychiatry and Psychology were present. Even Yusheng who was from general surgery was present.

He and Xu Ning were conversing like old friends. Recently, during the few days that Xiao Ai was absent, she heard gossip that Yusheng and Xu Ning were a bit closer than usual. Xiao Ai casted a knowing glance at Lifen who had a look of indifference on her face. As they attempted to walk towards the sea of nurses and doctors in the room, Xiao Ai teased Lifen.

"Looks like Yusheng and Xu Ning are a bit close. I heard gossip that they are close friends. What do you think?"

Lifen threw a chip in her mouth as she altered her steps and stared at the dou who were laughing and talking back and forth.

"I know right. They seem closer than usual but then Yusheng as always been an easy person to befriend if you have a good heart and Xu Ning isn't boring either. "

Xiao Ai felt that Lifen wasn't getting her hint, so she pressed further.

"Say Lifen, do you think they are compatible?"

Lifen thought for a while munching her chip and walking forward.

"They do look compatible. Would be nice if Yusheng can get himself a girl, that way he will stop bothering me." she scrunched her face up a but as though she just recalled something." Looking for me all the time when he wants to gossip. So annoying. " she paused and turned back to look at Xiao Ai." Do you know, the other day he came to my apartment with drinks and he actually dared to get drunk. After that he was so clingy. Baozhai present saw this and smirked to herself, before Xiao Ai could speak she quickly spoke.

Seeing another nurse agree, some nurses and doctors gave her a warning look not to say things like that.

"Similar interests and likes...doesn't that make you two a perfect couple? Who wants to play matchmaker? I bet that within the next two weeks, they will be a couple." The nurse who had spoken the other time added again.

"Nurse Lim, why don't you go over and check on Miss Xis vitals also change the dressing for Mr Fu and Mrs Fu." Yusheng was the one who spoke up glaring at the nurse Lim.

She was a nurse under him but why was she making things difficult for him? Was she as dumb as Lifen.

Everyone:"..." Bro. He just got bro zoned.

Yusheng who saw that Lifen had upgraded him to the mighty bro zone, suddenly became angry.

He shrugged her hands off as he spoke in an angry tone.

"You..Long Lifen who's your brother? Are you a bitch why we would I be your brother?" he quickly stomped off leaving Lifen surprised.

Lifen too who had a short temper stomped after him...

"Who wants you to be their brother? Shouldn't you be glad instead? I have lots of brothers ok?" she shouted.

"Then go find them. Don't place me in your brother zone."

"You..do you dare to say it to my face?"

"Yes..i dare to..what..."

Their shouting voices fades away as everyone stared at the door and then at Xu Ning who hadn't said a word since.

Xu Ning simply gave a warm smile as she closed her small bag.

Soon, it was just Xiao Ai and Xu Ning in the room.

"Yusheng must like Lifen a lot."

"Yes he does. I have known him since I was little. We attended the same elementary and high school. We even did our masters together which was how he met my stupid Lifen so I know to what extent he likes her. At first I was worried he had a crush on me but..." Xiao Ai trailed off staring out of the window.

Xu Ning snorted." You think the whole world revolves around you, don't you?"

"Of course it does." she paused for a while before humming a song and then spoke. " You still won't tell me about the history of her?"

"Am surprised you haven't forced it out of me." Xu Ning jested eyeing Xiao Ai.

Rolling her eyes she spoke in a lazy tone. "What do you all take me for seriously? Do you even have a place to stay or are you going back to the gang?"

"Am not that poor you know. Am a woman from the future who woke up in this body."

Xiao Ai nodded remembering in that she was a top assassin.

"Sigh...we might not be able to talk much. As much as I know you will miss me..." she teased.

"Why? Are you going somewhere? I think I will still be around for a while."

"I will be taking a case soon and I have to work with a criminal Psychologist and Lifen. That's just how complicated and dangerous the case is."

Xu Ning thought for a while before glancing at Xiao Ai and adjusting herself on the bed.

"Is it a girl?"

"Yes..how did you know?"

"Just a hunch I got." she replied her mind flashing back to the history.

Bolin walked in to see that his brothers office had almost been turned upside down. His office was the same. Those tax people....

"Brother, I brought what you asked." he called seeing his brother was staring out of the huge window.

Gu Bojing let out a shaky breath as he slowly spoke
