Bojing nodded his head as he patted her head.

Bolin was a bit glad that his sister in law had spoken up for him but his mind was a bit confused. He stared at his sister in law as he felt that something wasn't right. His instincts were always right?

Just what was he up to this time?

As he was about to look away he saw Xiao Ai give a faint evil smile and his back ran cold.

Was she going to rob him again?

Just when he was about to speak, Xiao Ai spoke up.

"And brother...just because and happy about you being robbed doesn't mean I stole your things. I was actually busy with my hubby the whole night so I had no energy to steal from you. You aren't that important okay? I just like bullying you that's all." she added eating her macaroon.

Bolin gritted his teeth together, as he kept eating his food. The steak felt bland in his mouth but he dared not express his displeasure again, for fear that his brother would send him away.

On the way back home, Bolin held a waffle in his hands as he kept crushing it between his fingers. He pretended that the waffle was his sister in law as he crushed it.

Xiao Ai stared at him from the back and held back her laughter.

Was this guy a complete fool? Did she resemble a waffle?

At home, Xiao Ai went through some of the files she had brought from the hospital. She had agreed to treat the patient but later they called to say they wanted to change the gender from female to male.

She felt a bit suspicious of the case so she had asked little guy to look into the family for her in the afternoon.

Didn't they know the patient was male before trying to transfer him over?

Xiao Ai shrugged as she rubbed her eyes and went back to the room, it didn't matter since she could solve anything. As she laid in bed she noticed that Gu Bojing was still in the study. She had met him there and left him there.

Their company issue had been solved, was he still very busy?

Few minutes later, she was already dozing off when she felt a warm hand on her stomach.

She turned around into his soothing embrace as she sniffed his masculine scent.

So familiar. So assuring.

"Are you still busy with company affairs?" She asked her voice slightly muffled.

Gu Bojing held her more tightly into his embrace.

He was used to holding her to sleep. That way he could assure himself that she was with him and no one else.

"The company shares dropped a lot the last day, but now it has risen very much. Am just going through some trivial files." His low voice rang to her ears and she smiled.

"Does that mean few of your shares will be available for buying?" She asked an idea suddenly popping in her mind.

"Hmm..." he hummed rubbing her waist. That had been an habit of his since long.

She always felt slight back ache so he used to rub circles on her waist and it really helped a lot.

"Say..hubby when should we go see our families?"

Xiao Ai had thought about this for a while, but they were both busy the past few days so she had not taken note of it. Although grandfather had called her the day before to remind her to bring Gu Bojing home when sister arrives she had forgotten to inform him.

Her elder sister would be landing in the country in the next week.

She wondered if sister will still be like she was before she left.

Truly they had a cat and dog fight before she left for abroad.

Her elder sister Mo Hannah, was a very beautiful lady. Sophisticated and more humble than Xiao Ai.

She took care of the family business in America and was very competent in her work. Unlike Xiao Ai who only knew to fight and swindle people, her elder sister was different.

Mo Hannah since she was young was always calm and collected. The few things they all had in common which probably stemmed from their genes where good looks, height and bravery.

They were all brave. Her father came from a generation of military officers and although her mother's side was mainly into business, their family was still involved with the matters of the underworld. Except that, the issues were shared among the family members.

Her grand aunt was a strong woman in the underworld. Being her grandfather's younger sister, Xiao Ai had gone to learn from her in Russia back then.

"Are you listening or are you asleep...?" Gu Bojings worried voice came through.

She realised she didn't want to open her mouth to speak so she just pretended to be asleep.

Gu Bojing knew she wasn't sleeping but still let her be.
