Xiao Ai who was waiting at the side heard Shen Yumos words and was a bit stunned. Was there another Emperor Gu she didn't know about? Did Gu Bojing too have a twin like her?

She looked at Shen Yumos side view and saw how confident she was about what she spoke. Could it be Gu Bojing already had a fiancée and since she and Gu Bojing got married in a rush their family must still not be aware of their relationship so they were still trying to pair him with Shen Yumo.

Did Gu Bojing know as well? Why didn't he tell her?

Xiao Ai refrained her thoughts as she told herself not to think too much. Shen Yumo might just be fantasizing after all there were a lot of girls that were married to Gu Bojing in their mind.

"Pfttt..dream on. He will never be yours." Lifen was the one that spoke as she dragged Xiao Ai along with her.

"Don't belive her words. I heard from my brothers that she's been delusional about marrying Gu Bojing since few years ago. You should trust your husband." Lifen tried to console.

Xiao Ai cringed as she shrugged Lifen off. " You think I believe her? Am I that fickle minded?"

Lifen smiled gently as she tugged on her hands. " Really? I was sure I saw your mind going round in circles. I am just worried about Gu Bojing."

Xiao Ai shot her a side glance. " Shouldn't you be worried about me instead. Am the one whose husband was claimed by another."

"It's normal that I will be worried for him. After all you are a husband beater." Lifen added and quickened her steps while Xiao Ai rushed after her.

"You..Long Lifen...do you dare to say it again? Who's the husband beater? Didn't your cousin still throw you out of the house..why are you so smug?"

"Pfft..how are we any different didn't your own cousin too take your place and throw you out of the house?" She accused.

"Hey..mines different. I left the house myself for a better place ok.?"

"Better place and you are still swindling.."

"Do you think we are friends because our family history is almost the same.." Xiao Ai asked as they rushed towards the stairs that led to the rooftop.

"We are friends because we are both piti..."

Shen Yumo stood on a spot and watched them as their voices traveled out of her hearing.

Those two...she wished she could have a true friend like them. But all her friends were social class ladies who were always fake.

Every gathering was directed to boasting about the things they had but Xiao Ai and Lifen were different. Although they both came from a prestigious family, they never relied on their families and could live like free birds.

She and Baozhai couldn't have such freedom as they were too busy chasing onto the things that weren't theirs.

Shen Yumo shrugged as she let go of the depressing thoughts. She would be married to Gu Bojing soon anyways. Thinking about that brought a warm smile to her face as she blushed.

A week later at Gu Corporations meeting room.

Some director and elders were grumbling as Gu Bojing had dismissed some insolent directors.

"First elder Gu what do you have to say about this?" Gu Bojing gently asked as he glanced at the first elder who was looking calm amidst the grumbling.

This first elder Gu was very sly. Although he didn't cause much trouble since he had no children he was still quite greedy. He had been careful during the days when the company was in uproar. Gu Bojing too had expected he wouldn't make a move but he never expected the old thing to be so sly.

The relationship the two had with each other was a bit complicated. Sometimes they were friends, sometimes they weren't. But first elder Gu wasn't the type that would be greedy for the company, the old man just wanted more profit for his adopted ones.

Ah Cheng rushed in, his eyes darting across the room. He rushed towards Gu Bolin and Gu Bojing whose seats were a bit close to each other.

"Fourth Elder Madam Gu is here. She's on her way here." Ah Cheng voice wasn't very low so everyone in the room could hear it.

The grumbling was even louder than usual. Fourth Madam Gu?

Instinctively, everyone looked towards Gu Bojing.

Did this mean that she was planning on settling here for good?

Wouldn't there be blood fights between she and Gu Bojing later on?

Gu Bojings eyes flashed with a faint light as he stared at the door meaningfully.

He knew she had been back few days ago but he didn't expect that she would suddenly show up.

Gu Bolin shifted in his seat as he studied his brother and noticed that his expression was still very calm. He swallowed hard as the image of Fourth Elder Madam Gu surfaced in his mind.

Weng Xu Lou too was sitting in a corner as Gu Bojings secretary.

Although her father had been removed from government and was currently lying in the hospital receiving treatment for his sudden attack, she still didn't quit. Her mother had advised her to stay in Gu Corporation and she too thought that it was quite a good idea.

If she left Gu Corporation what use will it be to her? People were already pointing fingers at her for being the daughter of the incompetent official. If she left Gu Corporation that would be confirming that she had joined hands with her father to oust the company.
