"What..what are you saying? I said we were sworn enemies okay? We need to visit the Mo house today. Grandfather has been pestering me about bringing you over. It's your luck that he hasn't rushed here and kicked you over." she quickly changed the topic.

Gu Bojing smiled widely as he chuckled.

"It doesn't matter to me who Mrs Gu was involved with before. As long as you are with me, okay?" he asked patting her back softly.

Xiao Ai forced a smile as she nodded. Why did she feel like he had seen right through her?

On her way out, she remembered she left her heels downstairs as it was quite uncomfortable to climb up with them.

"Oh...you guys must be wondering why I kept my heels here and walked bare foot. Hahahah...I wanted to exercise a bit by doing some climbing but my shoes were quite uncomfortable you see. So I had to leave them here." she explained and laughed at her own words.

The crowd stared at her and then at the very tall building.

Gu Bolin was having a meeting with his subordinates. He looked more serious compared to his usual playful self with Xiao Ai.

The staff felt that Xiao Ai was very lucky to be close with Bolin since the lad never really conversed much just like his brother. Except with his secretary who always makes mistakes at all time.

"Miss Ou, where is the minute you took about the recent hotel management from the planning team?" Gu Bolin casually asked stretching his hands forward while flipping through his documents.

Miss Ou smiled politely and gave him a file.

Gu Bolin took a look at the file and then at Miss Ou a frustrated smile on his face.

"Miss Ou, am asking for the minutes not a drawing of you making fun of your boyfriend."

Miss Ou took a look at the papers and gasped as she quickly took it and threw it in the bin.

"Oh My.." she quickly checked through the rest of her files but couldn't find the minutes. " I can't find it.. where could it be?" She asked Gu Bolin.

Gu Bolin smiled and gritted his teeth. " You took the minutes how would I know where you put them."

Miss Ou swallowed and looked though the files again before gasping loudly.

The other staff already knew that she must have made another mistake. They had to praise Gu Bolin for being patient with her as she had been working with him for four years.

"Miss Ou what's wrong?" Gu Bolin asked although he already knew the answer. Was there a time this secretary of his didn't make mistakes?

Miss Ou scratched her head as she looked helpless. " Boss,i think...I think...I think."

"What do you think this time? Just say it. Am already prepared for the worst."

"Ok. Boss I think I have trashed the paper in the machine. I wanted to trash that paper with the drawing but by mistake..."

Holding his forehead Gu Bolin almost felt like shouting at her but he controlled himself. " Yes yes. You always make mistakes. Just get the minutes from the planning team again and give then to Secretary Weng." he stood up ready to leave for his office as the meeting was already over but a delivery man came for Miss Ou.

He wanted to roast her but when he saw her sullen expression as she received the delivery he paused. It was rare for Miss Ou to look unhappy. Even when she made mistakes she never looked so unhappy.

"Miss Ou, is that face for protesting against getting the minutes you destroyed again?"

Miss Ou turned to him holding the box in her hands.

"I bought a gift for my boyfriend last week but we broke up three days ago. Now the gift..." she trailed off her eyes misty.

Gu Bolin walked forward and gently patted her shoulders. If Miss Ou was in a foul mood then his whole staff members would be too. She was like the smiley face of his office.

"Didn't your boyfriend dump you a month ago?." he asked remembering she had been this sad last month too.

Miss Ou shrugged him off as she looked sullen. "That was another one. The new one just left..where do I get a new boyfriend now?" She lamented.

Gu Bolin rubbed his eyes and shook his head.

This lady was unbelievable.
