Nurse Lim pouted and looked down. She didn't think of it that way. She just spoke.

"No wonder you are on punishment. " another nurse chided.

"You are on punishment?" Lifen finally brought herself to speak, although her voice was a bit soft and didn't rise much.

"Dearest cousin, why does your voice sound sad?" Shen Yumo appeared from behind wearing a smug look.

Tonight her father was taking her to the Gu house because they got news that Gu Bojinh and his brother were coming home tonight. So she was in an exceptionally good mood.

Lifen didn't have time for Shen Yumo and so pretended not to hear her question.

She raised her brow at Nurse Lim who was already carried away.

"Ah..yes..Surgeon placed me on a week punishment for being dense and not knowing when to speak or keep quiet. I am not allowed in the OR for a week." she pouted and held onto Lifens elbow. "Psychiatrist Long, why don't you plead with the surgeon on my behalf. Please..this way I won't learn much."

Lifen quickly shrugged her off and cleared her throat. "Why would I? I don't like interfering in other people's matters. "

Xiao Ai had come to hand a transfer paper over when she saw Lifen.

She snorted and walked forward.

Didn't Lifen too say she was busy?

"Dearest Cousin...tell me are you on bad terms with Yusheng. Is he fighting with you?"

Before Lifen could retort. Nurse Lim already answered.

"Eiii...no way. Doctor Long is the one giving surgeon a cold shoulder. Surgeon Li has been distracted for a while now. She won't eat with him or talk to him so he hasn't been eating much. Sigh...unrequited love is really something."

Hearing Nurse Lims last sentence, Lifens eyes lit up and she stared at her.

Nurse Lim held her mouth and looked awkward.

Xiao Ai shook her head. This Nurse Lim deserved to be punished. She truly didn't know what to say and what not to say. Suddenly Xiao Ai felt that Miss Ou and Nurse Lim would make great sisters. There were both too forward and didn't know when to speak or keep quiet.

Nurse Pu gasped and pulled Nurse Lim to a side. "Nurse Lim, are you out of your mind. You know that's an unspoken rule in the hospital. You are not allowed to disclose it."

Xiao Ai shook her head in disappointment. Were everyone in General surgery like this?

Nurse Lim scratched her head and wanted to walk away but was pulled by Lifen.

"Psychiatrist Long..i really don't know." she denied and saw Xiao Ai standing a distance away." Why don't you ask Psychologist Mo. She should know."

Xiao IA who had just been pulled into the conversation was awed.

"Nurse Lim, why should I translate your words for you?" she shrugged and avoided Lifens questioning gaze.

"Xiao Ai..what did that mean? Are you all hiding something.?"

"What do you think we are hiding dearest cousin. Why don't you guess..." Shen Yumo probed.

Nurse Lim couldn't hold it in anymore and decided to let the cat out of the bag. "I can't hide it anymore. Psychiatrist Long, don't you know, Surgeon Li likes you very much..very very much. Everyone knows except you knows about it, even the patient knows. If you ask them they will tell you. I have been working here for two years now and I knew he liked you the third day I started working here. "She spoke up feeling that Lifen had wronged her boss.

"I knew a week after."

Hearing the Nurses comment Lifen felt like the biggest fool ever.

Everyone knew...except her!

Xiao Ai walked forward and lazily hung an arm around Lifens hand.

"I knew about it the month we first went camping." she confessed. "Lifen..you are the only one who doesn't know...no matter how much we hint, you never get it." she smiled.

Lifen was dumb struck.

The first month they all went camping together was the month she met Yusheng. They were are all studying for their masters and since Xiao Ai was very close to Yusheng she had to tag along too. She and Yusheng weren't so close back then but they spoke here and there. She wasn't very free with him then so she would never have thought that he liked her since then.

That was about four years ago.

He had secretly liked her since then?

They even slept in the same space and Yusheng was always a gentle man. He never once went across the line with her.
