Xiao Ai had a frown on her face as she sized the girl up.

She had to admit. Good genes run in the Gu household just like the Mo household.

Gu Bojing didn't want her to find an opportunity to swindle his workers and immediately walked forward his arm cupping her waist.

Weng Xu Lou gritted her teeth as she balled her hands. She didn't want to but she couldn't help but feel jealous.

Gu Bojing frowned as he snatched the popsicle from her hand and smashed it against the tree for sometime causing some of the ice to break and dissolve.

"I don't know why you girls like things like this. I haven't seen the Evil drama queen play so I can't tell. But it should be fine as long as she doesn't say she wants my head as the ball, right?" he cocked a brow at Weng Xu Lou.

Went Xu Lou smiled widely and nudged his stomach. "Silly."

"You look like a child today. Do you want people to think am your father? Why is your hair packed in two sides?"

Weng Xu Lou touched her hair and then giggled. "Cousin... its a style okay. Don't I look younger? Don't I look good?" she asked blinking her long lashes.

Gu Bojing patted her head." Sure..sure..you look beautiful. As long as my Xu Lou is happy. "

"Then..can I get some candies now?"

Gu Bojing stared at her for a while before using both his hands to pinch her small face. "What are you? A child? Still asking for candies. Am I your candy man?"

Weng Xu Lou pouted and acted coy as she softened her voice a bit tugging on his sleeve with her cold fingers "Cousin I promise just one hun?"

Gu Bojing was no match for her cuteness and had no choice but to give in to her. He placed one big caramel candy in her hand and playfully patted her shoulder" Last time." he warned although they both knew he was only bluffing.

Weng Xu Lou only needed to act coy and he would give in to her. So she giggled like a child again. Happy that he was treating her well.

At that time she had thought they would grow up she would marry him and they would live happily ever after. After all it wasn't like there were blood related cousins.
