Second Elder Gu nodded his head and seem to be thinking about something before he said to Bojing. "Congratulations, welcome to the midst of wife slaves." Then he cracked a laughter. "Daughter no need to be so scared. Bolin is your brother and you can discipline him if you like."

Bojing too smiled but Bolin shifted backwards a bit. What was happening?

How did it all go 180 degrees straight?

Was this still his father?

"Xiao Ai say hello to father."

Xiao Ai smiled widely happy that they were siding with her and said in a shy manner. "Hello, dad. I am Mo Ai, your first daughter in law."

Second Elder Gu nodded in agreement and patted her back slightly. "Good good. I have heard a lot about you."

Xiao Ai then introduced Jenny to them as her younger sister. Second Elder Gu was very welcoming and warm. He even told Bolin to personally bring all the gifts in his car. The gifts was much so Bolin was almost panting when he was carrying them. Jenny then pitied him and helped him with some.

"Phew..thank you. Finally someone from the Mo Family that's nice. That sister in law..." he gritted his teeth and continued.

Jenny wanted to say that she wasn't from the Mo Family but Bolin had already gone from her sight.

While waiting for Bolin to bring all the gifts, Xiao Ai asked Bojing about his mom.

"Dad..where is mom?"

Second Elder Gu coughed a little and looked towards the building. "She will be down soon. "

Xiao Ai held tightly onto the bag she was holding. "I bought a scarf for mom with a quick money I earned and I don't know if she will like it." she bashfully said.

"Who knows if you swindled someone to get that?" Bolin countered once Xioa Au spoke.

Xiao Ai raised her head to glare at him and scold him but held herself back. She forced a smile at him and spoke. "Second Brother in law, what are you saying? Of course not. This was money that I earned myself. My hard earned money."

As she spoke a soft voice came from the entrance. "Is she here?"

Xiao Ai looked towards the entrance and saw the woman. She widened her eyes and turned to Bojing who was smiling at the woman.

It couldn't be..could it?

Quickly she asked Bojing. " Who is that?"

"Who do you think?" Bojing raised a brow at her.

Fearfully she asked. "Your mom?"

"En."

"Ahhh.." Xiao Ai exclaimed.

"Is everything fine?"

Xiao Ai nodded and turned her back to the woman who was now looking at her. She was done for.

Who told her not to investigate what her mother in law looked like?

Gu Bojing noticed that something wasn't right with the playful gaze his mother was giving Xiao Ai and the way Xiao Ai was trying her best to grow into the ground.

By this time, Bolin and Jenny had finished unloading all the gifts and the servants were separating them as there were names on each since the Gu members were much.

Second Mrs Gu smiled then pretended to frown. She glared at Xiao Ai and gave a grunt then she walked in.

Xiao Ai knew she was done for. Who told her not to control herself?

No wonder the staff manager was giving her weird looks.

Inside, Xiao Ai sat obediently and uncomfortably at the dining, her head still low. The bag she was holding was still on her lap. She dared not give her mother in law the gift lest she takes her anger out on her.

Bojing whispered to Xiao Ai with a smile. "Why do you feel so guilty towards my mother? Did you do something unspeakable?"

Seeing that he still had the nerve to smile Xiao Ai pinched him under the table. She was really anxious. Although Second Elder Gu was on her side. It was obvious he was a wife slave just like her husband so naturally he would side with his wife. Now she knew how Bolin felt when Bojing took her side instead of his. Just thinking about it made her palms sweaty.

"Mom...do you know sister in law before? I have never seen her looking that obedient." Bolin asked feeling that something was off. He was still exhausted from having to unload these gifts.

Second Mrs Gu cleared her throat and poured Xiao Ai tea. Although Xiao Ai had her head bowed she could still see the actions of the other woman.
