At dawn, before Lifen could wake, Yusheng left the apartment and made a call to Xiao Ai.

Xiao Ai was still dreaming that she was swimming in dollars and more money was falling from the sky when she heard her phone ring. Annoyed, she unwillingly pulled away from the hug of her hubby and placed the phone to her ear.

"Whoever you are, this better be good or am killing you." she grumbled, her voice still hoarse from sleep.

Yusheng suppressed his urge to shout at the cock blocker of a friend as he started his car. "MO Ai, I want my damn refund!" and with that he ended the call not giving Xiao Ai a chance to speak. The idiot seemed to be having a peaceful sleep, while he was steered awake by heartbreak.

Hearing refund and the beep beep of hanging up, Xiao Ai sat up straight, fully conscious. That Yusheng wants a refund, could it be....

She quickly placed a call to Lifen.

"What is it?" Lifen hissed into the phone.

"You bastard, what have you done to Yusheng? Now he wants a refund. Lifen, what did you say to the poor guy?" Xiao Ai was pissed as she had thought she would spend the money. She was assured Lifen would agree to be his woman and even boasted that he could get a refund if it didn't work out well.

Who would have thought that she was digging a hole for herself?

"What refund?" Lifen asked sitting up straight with her back to the head board. She knew when Yusheng had left as she too couldn't find sleep. After grasping a hold of what had happened, Lifen widened her eyes as she shouted into the phone. "Xiao Ai, are you a pimp? How dare you sell me off? Are you really my friend?"

The noise had caused Gu Bojing to wake and Xiao Ai quickly smiled apologetically as she left for the balcony to shout at her friend. "Lifen, are you a bastard? I know you like Yusheng, so why are you rejecting him?"

"Who said I rejected him? Am still thinking okay..am still... hey..hello..hello..bastard are you there? Fuck you MO Ai..." she cursed since Xiao Ai had hung up on her.

Xiao Ai had recorded Lifens last statement and sent it to Yusheng before calling him. "Hey, she said she's still thinking ok? Besides before you get a refund you need to give me a notice a month prior, how dare you...hello..Yusheng are you there bastard?"

Lifen was about to go back to sleep when she heard the door bell ring.

Grumbling she shuffled to her feet thinking it's her annoying landlady again.

"I told you the rent will be paid next...hmmm." her running lips was suddenly captured by a fierce one as the door shut tightly and she was pushed up a wall.

"Lifen..."

"You...you came back?"

"Xiao Ai told me. I can wait. I will wait till you are done thinking. Just don't reject me. Don't push me away." he sounded so insecure that it made her heart hurt for a while before she cursed Xiao Ai in her mind.

That money minded friend of hers, was there something she couldn't do for money?

"That...Yusheng...actually..."

"Shh..." he placed a finger on her lip and caressed the outlines, while staring into her eyes.

Lifen could feel her whole face go hot again. What was wrong with today and yesterday?

While they were kissing, Xiao Ai was fuming.

Practically fumes were coming out from her ears and eyes.

Bolin was hiding behind a tree and Xiao Ai was held back by Bojing.

"I swear sister in law, it's not what you think. Small sis in law, why don't you speak?" he lamented looking over to Jenny who was standing there awkwardly.

Bojing too spoke up for his brother. "Wife calm down. Bolin is not that kind of a person. Let's listen to him."

Hearing that he was taking his brothers side, she shoved him to a side and reached for Bolins hair. She grabbed it and dragged him to the floor. Xiao Ai sat on his back with her feet on his shoulder blades. She gripped his hair further and spoke.

"What misunderstanding? Tell me what you were talking about with my little sis at dawn. Alone! In your nighties! Just you and her! Alone! All alone! In the garden! With a bottle!" she landed a fist on the side of his face and shoved his face into the ground.

"Sister...it's not like that. Brother in law was already at the garden making a call, I just went to speak to him on my own. Sister calm.down..." Jenny persuaded although that was almost the millionth time she was saying it, it fell on Xiao Ais deaf ears.

Bojing was helpless seeing his brother like this but he was sure Bolin was not the kind to do something of such. Definitely not what Xiao Ai was thinking.
