He patted her head in a loving manner, and spoke as if talking to a child. "You are welcome little younger sister. You can visit anytime after all as much as I hate to admit it, sister in law is part of the family. Sigh...I can see my future right ahead. Will I be a victim of domestic violence now?" he exasperated.

Jenny cracked a laugh as she peered at him and carefully asked." Second Big Brother, you don't like my sister right?"

Bolin snorted. "Who likes a shameless sister in law. A man beater. Look at young masters handsome face, how am I supposed to show up in public. But I have no choice. I have to like her. Brother likes her very much and...." he paused and scrunched up his face as if disgusted by what he would say next. "Cough...she's the best woman for brother. We can't argue that. They perfectly fit. Brothers quiet and easy going and sister in law is the complete opposite. It's fun around them with the exception of her bullying me of course."

Jenny smiled widely again. "I knew it. No one can hate her. She's so beautiful and nice."

Bolin nodded his head although he clearly disagreed that she was nice. To him, Xiao Ai was the opposite of nice or kindness. All that ran through her mind was money and money alone..sometimes he felt pity for his brother who was stuck with her.

But the things love make you do sometimes.

Bolin urged Jenny to go to sleep after talking to her. The one who hurt him was probably cuddled with her hubby not feeling guilty but at least she had a thoughtful family.

Xiao Ai didn't know Jenny had gone to apply ointment for Bolin at dawn. If she knew, it was possible she would beat Bolin up even more, after all, she was very protective of Jenny.

Soon they all reached Care Medical Centre.

Bolin grumbled as Xiao Ai pulled his hood more to cover his face.

"Can't you leave me alone?"

"Shut it. What would people think of me if they were to see your face like this?" Xiao Ai retorted walking into the elevator with Jenny following afterwards.

Bolin was about to agree when he spoke up. "Why would people think it was you who beat me? Am a man, would I let a slim woman beat me up?"

Xiao Ai pressed the ninth floor button and stared at his face. "Because only I have both the gut and the strength." she then winked at him.

Bolin wanted to talk back but Jenny glanced at him, pleading with her eyes. She knew her sister could be frustrating sometimes. At times like this, Xiao Ai was supposed to be caring towards Bolin.

But she was doing the opposite.

"I regret not reporting this!" he gritted his teeth.

Xiao Ai nudged his side with her elbow as she leaned against the elevator. "It's not too late. You think anyone would believe. Dear, no matter how shameless I can be, I can't beat up a man."

Bolin agreed, his face full of satisfaction.

After they stepped out of the elevator, he suddenly paused, glared at Xiao Ai who was leisurely adjusting her dress.

"Sister in law!" he exclaimed but Xiao Ai only dragged him forward.

It was her who said she had the gut and strength and it was her who later said she was unable to.

Toying with him like that?

How annoying!

"Sister, shouldn't we be going to General surgery or somewhere else? Why are we in Psychology?" Jenny asked looking towards Bolin who had wanted to ask the same question.

Xiao Ai walked forward as she greeted the nurses and doctors.

"I have to sign in for my night shifts. Eight days. Sigh...my poor life!" she exclaimed as she signaled for them to wait and went ahead alone.

"Shouldn't she have let me get a check up first? Wait why do I have to go with her? I am a grown up. I can go myself." Bolin told Jenny once Xiao Ai was out of sight.

Jenny chewed on her lip for a while before faintly replying. "I think she feels responsible towards you since it's her fault."

That was agreeable but Bolin felt something wasn't right.

The sister in law he had come to know in few weeks was not nice towards him.

Her mind was full of evil schemes and how to scam him off his money and properties.

Few minutes later, at Yushengs office.

Yusheng examined Bolins badly brushed injuries and frowned his face. His shoulders fortunately wasn't very dislocated but they still hurt very much.

"Who on earth beat you up this badly. Your brother? Or do you have a wife already? Women these days are husband beaters." Yusheng sympathized with him.

"Hey...you..whose friend are you? Since when did doctors start to chit chat? Just do your job." Xiao Ai snapped.

Yusheng looked at Xiao Ai and then at Bolin. He didn't need anymore words as he already knew who beat him up.
