He was right. She didnt hate herself for making out with her boss even if it was under alcohol influence. She didnt feel repulsed like she was supposed to and it amazed her.

"Why?"

She stared up at him. "I dont know. I only know...I..i keep wanting to..wanting to..."

"Wanting to relieve the moment?" He closed in on her.

"Yes." It was barely a whisper but he heard it clear as though it was spoken loudly. "And I feel bad." Another whisper.

"Dont. None of this is your fault. It's not your fault that you.." he traced her right arm up to her collar bone. "Keep wanting more. You cant control your body. Especially if you are new to this."

She froze. He thought she was new to this. What was she to do?

Bolin noticed it and stepped back. He picked the fruits and washed them. "I would give you the space you need Ou Xinyi. But I am always here. Never leaving."

He saw her struggling with her emotions before she pulled on his shirt, looking at him with some innocent look.

"I...want..want some apples too. Make them pretty." Then she turned to sit on the bed smiling mischievously.

"Are you teasing me?" Bolin questioned amused and she shrugged then pointed her chin to the fruits.

Bolin smiled in return. Things were going faster than he thought. He should send some money to his sister in law. If not for her lousy game night.

Or maybe not. She could take that as a chance to scam him.

When Xiao ai got to H mall, Lifen was yet to arrive but the inspector and a criminal psychologist was present.

"Welcome Psychologist Mo, I see you brought your husband." The inspector greeted. He motioned to chair and asked them to seat.

Xiao Ai glanced at her husband, she sighed and smiled. "Men! What will we do with them?" She teased.

The criminal Psychologist smiled. "I also came with my wife. I think it's a couples thing."

When Gu Bojing heard that the Psychologist was married, he was pleased. "You are married? That's great. We are married too."

Xiao Ai stared at him. "You just dont say it like that."

He smiled subtly. "How should I say it then? Theres no hiding."

She shook her head and turned to the Inspector. "I didnt keep you waiting did I? Has Lifen arrived?"

The colleague nodded her head. "We just got here about few minutes ago. Psychologist Long is yet to arrive and Mrs Du left with her son to shop."

"Mrs Du?" Xiao Ai asked.

"My wife." The criminal Psychologist declared.

"You already have a son. That great." Xiao Ai didnt know why but something sunk in her stomach. She and Gu Bojing hadnt talked about having children yet. She wondered what his view was on it.

Gu Bojing glanced at Xiao Ai. "We just got married. It's not up to a month and we aren't ready to have children. We still have a lot of time."

"That's right. My wife and I got married three years ago. Theres barely anytime for ourselves. You should enjoy your time while you stil can."

They made small talks for some minutes before Lifen rushed along.

"Lifen you are here. Wheres Jenny?"

Lifen placed her hands on her waist and raised a brow. "You wont ask how I am doing? Jenny is looking round the mall with Mengmeng."

"Mengmeng came along." Xiao Ai looked to be sulking a bit. "Tell her to bring Jenny up soon. I want her in my sight."

"Yes ma'am." She exchanged greetings with everyone before taking her seat. "Mr Gu, thank you for the other day."

Xiao Ai pried. "Thank you for what?"

Lifen face palmed herself. "For saving both of us."

"Were you two in danger? That sounds unbelievable." The inspector added and Xiao Ai and Lifen scratched their noses. "Shall we start?"

"Sure...Hubby can you excuse us?"

Gu Bojing hesitated for a while before agreeing. "I will go look for Jenny."

Xiao felt relieved. She didnt know he noticed her uneasiness. "Thank you." He gave her a quick peck on the cheeks and walked away.

"Is that right? Sending your husband away?"

"Psychologist Long, this is a professional gathering."

"Ohhh..so we are acting professional now." Lifen commented.

The inspector introduced them to each other. "This is my colleague Asst. Inspector Lu and this is Criminal Psychologist Du. We will be working together. Do you have any drafts?"

Xiao Ai brought out her notepad. "So this serial killing began three months ago. The first was around F and E districts. This went on for exactly two months and the next was around H and G district. One which happened right in the gents of this mall. Do you have the information on the murder case that happened here?"
