Professor Su kept her promise like she said. She called Miss Ling but she was surprised when miss Ling refused to come to see the child.

"You have never refused her before. She will be heartbroken."

Miss Ling sighed and her voice shook as she spoke. "Then she should get used to it. I am very busy with my own problems, I would appreciate it if you dont call me anymore."

"Miss Ling? Is someone bothering you?"

"No. Please let me be."

Professor ended the call and sighed. If she were to tell the dou that she wont come will they tie her up thinking she was fooling them?

They are two shameless young ladies, capable of doing anything.

Perhaps she should wait till they find out she isnt coming. But that would make it seem more like she had planned to fool them all along.

She decide to call the two and let them know what was going on.

At the corridor leading to the Emergrncy unit, Xiao Ai was the first to exclaim. "Shes refusing to come?"

"You said she cherished the girl." Lifen added.

Professor Su rubbed her glasses and placed it back on. "I know. I was quite shocked myself. It seems fishy."

"You think someone told her not to come?" Lifem asked.

"I think it's someone from this hospital. When I asked her if someone was bothering her, she denied flat out."

Xioa Ai placed her hands on ver hips, an angry expression making her brows to crease. "Whoever the idiot is they are messing with the wrong person."

"What are you two planning to do?" She asked looking back knowing she must be needed as the emergency section was quite full.

"We will be smelling out hospitals around.. "

Xiao AI jabbed her in the side of her stomach. "We will figure that out."

Profesosr Su looked from Lifen who was still rubbing her side to Xiao Ai who was checking her expressions out. "If you need anything from me let me know. I will be glad to help."

"Why?"

Profesosr Su also placed her hands on her waist,"its an issue of national security Psycologist Mo. Of course I am willing to help."

"Do you know if Miss Ling was close to anyone in particular in the hospital or if she saw someone frequently before her husband died."

"Or if someone strange visited her." Xiao Ai added.

The professor looked back again feeling impatient. "There are lot of people that shes close with but so are her colleagues. If you mean people from different departments, then yes. And that is because we are the emergency department. We work closely with others. This is something you both know. I have to leave."

Few minutes after the Professor left, Lifen turned to Xiao Ai. "What shall we do now?"

"First we will sound out the hospitals that we can today including ours. Then we will go to that Miss Ling. Willingly or forcefully she has to talk. Enough of being a gentle woman. It doesn't suit me anyways. But we have to hurry up. I must leave before seven."

"Why is that? Do you have something important to do?"

"You wouldnt understand even if I told you. After all you are ...what's the word..single." she pronounced with disgust.

Lifen eyed her as they rushed up the stairs to catch the elevator. "Now that you are married, you can dare to run your mouth. Is sex more important than national security."

Xiao Ai paused d gave her an incredulous look. "My marriage is an issue of national security."

They got into the elevator and met some doctors there. "How? "

"The more I focus on my marriage the more everyone is happy. But if I dont have a happy life, I dont mind worrying everyone in this country. Wouldnt it be a national security issue then?"

The doctors:"...." hun???

How will it be their fault if shes not happy?

Lifen:"...that is absurd."

"We are going to paediatric first. Who knows what's in there?"

"Children Mo ai..children."

She raised her hands and made a face at her friends.

After considerable hours...Xiao Ai was sniffing coffee.

"Whata re you doing? We still have neurosurgery.?

She sniffed her coffee again before drinking it. "I am afraid I might lose my sense of smell from sniffing all those rooms. I need to recharge." She sniffed the coffee again. "Okay we may proceed."

Lifen hissed and dragged her friend forward. "We still have other important things to do. Lazy!"

She recieved a message so she freed herself from Lifens grip, threw the paper cup away and opened the message.

Seeing that Xiao Ai was staring at the phone for long, Lifen moved closer.

"What is it?" Once she saw the message, she sighed and rubbed Xiao Ais shoulders. "It will be fine. I am sure Seductress has it all under control. She has been doing this since she was little. Let's focus on our own work."

"If the bill is cancelled for our camp, then the..." she could not bear to say it.
