Although they said they would only watch first half they ended up watching it all. Yusheng who had been told to wait for five minutes had now waited 90 minutes. He called their cellphones but they weren't picking.

Of course they wouldn't know since they were too busy shouting at the tv.

Jenny stood there looking awkward. She had spent time with Bolin and his secretary and she enjoyed it but now that she was alone with Brother in law she felt kind of intimidated and lonely.

Since it was past eight and the woman had promised to be home before seven, he didnt want to fall victim like Bolin by keeping Jenny in their house so he told her to go up and pick some of Xiao Ais clothes.

"I will take you to my parents. It might be difficult cause my mom might not want to release your she has ways wanted a daughter and she might drag you across the mall to go shopping in the middle of the night but let's hope it doesn't happen."

Jenny smiled and went up awkwardly as he had said. She picked some of Xiaos clothes and gently walked out as though there was someone in the room she didnt want to disturb.

Gi Bojing tried Xiao Ais number one more time but she still didnt pick. It was useless to try to call Lifen. They were birds of the same feather anyways.

Yusheng was probably the most inpatient. He had even eaten snacks and watched a match while he was waiting.

Since the match was over , they decided to concentrate on Miss Ling.

"Did anyone approach you before your husband died?"

Miss Ling thought for a while. "No."

"Was your husband distressed at all or came home with injuries?" She asked while Lifen studied her expression.

Under their piercing gazes Miss Ling was nervous.

"No he didnt. But he was worried he told me it was just a little problem at work."

"Ohhh ..I see.." Xiao Ai answered staring at her shaky hands.

Pick me..pick me... She smiled awkwardly and took her phone from her bag.

"Shhh...shhh.." she told the other women. "Hello hubby...I am on my way. The traffic is much. You know how Distric H main street can be."

"I am right around district H and the street is awfully empty. There are hardly up to ten cars here. Where are you?"

Lifen spoke into the speaker. "Mr Gu, she left you to watch a match in some strangers house."

Miss Ling coukdnt hold her tongue. "Like you are any different." She tried to calm herself and looked around the table. The mess this two has created?

"Come home now Mrs Gu. I dropped Jenny off at my parents."

"Awwwnn..hubby thank ...hello..hello.." she stared at Lifen deadbeat. "He hung up. It's the first time in history this is happening. And it's all your fault!" She packed her bag and said goodbye to Miss Ling before dashing out of the apartment.

Lifen took her time in leaving. Downstairs, they were met with a frowning and not nice Yusheng.

"Quick drive me to my house."

"Am I your driver. FIFTEEN MINUTES MO AI. YOU PROMISED FIFTEEN!"

Yusheng tied to calm himself before starting the car. "How did I even meet you again. I dont ever want to remember. I even watched a match. That's how long you kept me waiting you two little..." he held his tongue and swallowed back his words.

Lifen and Xiao AI asked. "You watched the match too?"

Xiao Ai adjusted herself in her seat. "Did you see the stupid move..."she kept quiet once she saw the look Yusheng gave her through the mirror.

In a low tone he asked. "You left me here to watch the match. How expected of you two."

Xiao Ai shifted closer to the door and stared outside. She couldn't pester him to drive faster.

"Finally..." she breathe when she got home.

"Thank you Yusheng. Jenny is at my in laws so you have Lifen to yourself. Take her as a sorry for tonight"
