On their way out, Asst Inspector stopped them. "What did you mean about robbing someone earlier?"

Xiao Ai smiled awkwardly. "Never mind. It's just a joke."they quickly scurried away with little Gu trailing behind.

The inspector told the police. "Be on the look out for any robbery case that is reported. Especially if it's related to Psychologist Mo or Psychiatrist Long."

The police shook their head in agreement. When was it that the Young Master of the Gu house was complaining on social media that he suspected his sister in law of robbery. He didnt report the cae so they didnt have the opportunity to question Miss Mo but now it seem that she was planning on doing something shameless again.

On the way to Gu corporation..

"You are going there to sniff out the flower right?"

"Yes and to check on my hubby. I was quite cruel last night." Remembering how emotional she had been, she shook her head. Feeling sorry for herself.

She should be grateful she was lucky enough to find a man who didnt care about her attitude or about her past but insisted she felt sorry. Pitiful. Pathetic.

Because she had a gut feeling it wouldnt last for long. Happiness for her was mostly short lived. She couldn't tell if it was because she always chased away every form of romantic happiness in her life or if it was because she naturally didnt deserve it.

She agreed. "I was selfish and emotional. It was entirely my fault. What did he think?" She glanced at Lifen. "That he saw me first?"

Lifen swallowed. "Then did you see him first?"

She smiled. "You wouldn't understand."

She didnt speak anymore and they only drove in silence.

Weng Xu Lou put on a professional smile and spoke politely while taunting her with her eyes. "The president clearly said he would not be accepting any Visitors. If you insist on seeing him, I am afraid you will have to..."

Surprised Xiao Ai slowly walked into her hubby's office. She knew it was her who was at fault for not being able to control her emotions but she couldn't help but feel that way. Feeling useless.

Gu Bojing was quite immersed in whatever he was reading as he didnt notice her entrance. Xiao Ai stood there admiring his head. This foolish guy with a buzz cut is her husband.
