Lifen felt her eyes become drowsy as she tried to hide from the rays of sunlight that slipped into the room landing on her face. "I want to see you in my dreams."

Yusheng smiled and pulled her closer. In his mind he thought. 'Let's hope it's a good one this time.'

Gu Bojing didnt know what to say to Xiao Ai to make her speak to him and it made him feel more anxious. He felt as if whatever must have made them fight was related to him or Littel Fool.

He crawled in on the other side of the bed and adjusted her hair which had fallen in places.

"You have bruises on your face." He silently spoke.

Still no response.

"Will you be going to work tomorrow? I had my assistant hire us a cook. What should I tell her to make?"

Xiao Ai opened her eyes instantly and sat up to match his height. "You hired a female cook?"

Gu Bojing smiled and softly patted her back. "Now you are talking. The male cook will be coming in tonight. What would you like to eat?"

She smiled faintly and placed her head on his shoulders. Almost in a whisper she spoke. "I am sorry."

He patted her head and smiled, his eyes turning misty. "You did nothing to apologise for except if Mrs Gu has done something wrong again."

The amusement in his voice was evident and it made her heart ache even more. "I have done a lot things to apologise for and we know it. Mr Gu, thank you and I am sorry."

"You sound like you want to divorce me..."

"I wouldnt dare."

He felt at ease. As long as she said it. As long as she would still be with him, he was fine with it. He didnt care who was in her heart.

Sometimes he felt as though it matters to him who was in her heart but most times be realised he didnt care. As long as she wanted to be with him. As long as she wanted to be here. He didnt care if it was selfish, he just wanted her here. With him. In his arms.

She pulled up to look at his face. Touching a side of it with her hands, she whispered. "How are you so good looking?"

He smiled, his perfect set of teeth on display. "I am sure Mrs Gu has met men more gorgeous than I am."

She nodded. "Indeed I have. But in my eyes, you are the most perfect. In my eyes you are the most good looking and Mr Gu..."

His hands shook as his armpit started to itch. He didn't know what she wanted to say but he couldnt help but worry.
