With teary eyes she gave him one last look and said. "There is nothing I can do for you or the child, that I am carrying in my womb."

Gu Boking eyes widened when he heard the last words that she said had he proceeded to take a step forward but was stuck to the ground. He attempted again but his legs didn't move. Just like how he did not walk over on his own, he could not walk forward to her on his own.

Slowly like a movie, the whole scene changed and he soon found himself surrounded by the forest trees again. Gu Bojing did not even know when, tears fell down his face, he only felt it when he touched his face.

That meant the lady was pregnant and would still be executed. He ran forward not knowing where he was going. Gu Bojing didnt fully wake but he could feel that his consciousness had come back to him and felt a tiny finger touching his lips. He did not open his eyes and let the woman do what she wanted.

Xiao Ai traced her fingers across his lips and frowned. She pinched his lower lips a little before snorting and taking her hands off.

Although feeling sad, he still managed to internally smile. This woman was not focusing on the main issue and was only worried that he kissed another woman. What was he to do with her?

She pinched his cheeks before pressing it. He heard her sigh deeply.

She sat back and relaxed closing her eyes to think. The first time she actually noticed him was when she went with Lifen and Yusheng to a resort. They had hardly managed to get a week of vacation and decided to spend it relaxing.

She scoffed and closed her eyes back, she had never been interested in high society men and Baozhai was acting all lovey dovey with Chunhua who was supposed to be her boyfriend. The only thing she knew about him then was that he was the son in charge of Gu Corporation along with his younger brother and since he joined, the company has been doing great and making new waves in the economy world. He was a man known to be quiet and so it made people think he was aloof and arrogant.

He rarely spoke and when she saw him at the resort with a relaxed face, she knew why people liked him, who wouldnt fall for that adorably handsome face and gorgeous body. He didnt have too much muscles, but he was very okay. Xiao AI found herself stealing glances through her sun glasses while Lifen amd Yusheng bickered a little.

He stopped to set his seat, closer to their side. His younger brother making chats every now and then. He brought Miss Ou then too and it made Xiao Ai smile now. Miss Ou was indeed an idiot for not realising how foolish Bolin felt till now. If he talked to Gu Bojing and the man ignored him, he would turn to Miss Ou and chat with her for a while. Although Gu Bojing was sitting right beside her with only a few steps departing their chairs, she did not think he took notice of her.

He picked a book to read and she accidentally streched her hand out to pick the book she had brought to read. It was a book on deep hypnosis according to neuroscience. He glanced at her and as if recognizing her, faintly smiled.

"Psychologist Zhao..." he greeted and she had to look backwards and sideways to be sure he was really talking to her. Even though he realy did call out her name.

She did not think they had ever met before and so it surprised her when he greeted her like that but she remained calm and returned the faint smile. "Chariman Gu..."

The man chukled. A faint one too. "Miss Zhao must not be familiar with me."

She raised a brow and glanced at her book out of slight embarrassment. "Pardon..."

"My father is the Chairman. I am currently the President."

She made an 'O'with her mouth and smiled, apologising. "Pardon me...I am not really interested in these type of things."

He nodded an understanding look on his face. "I am quite familair with Miss Zhao though. After all everyone in the country knows the agile lady running through the market."

She faked an awkward laughter, feeling as if ants were crawling over her body. "That...I was at my lowest. Really broke besides they forgot to add that I know most of the market ladies."

And it was true. She really was familair with most of the market ladies.

And she did later go to pay them okay...maybe not in full but through installment.
