She drank water and looked at him. The chair was big and she was quite small so she couldnt even reach the table.

"Exvuse me.." Gu Bojing disappeared around the corner and came back with a new chair. He changed the chair for her an extended it so she could reach the table.

She smiled at him and explained. "We have to say the Lords prayer. You know the Lord is our shepherd." He nodded and applied jam to her toast. "And everyone above two has to take rounds for ten minutes around the main kitchen. It's as big as this living room. To stay fit."

Gu Bojing first frowns before nodding his head. He made a mental note to ask Lifen about that. Isnt that too much? Should it not be illegal to make them wake early. Little ones like this are supposed to sleep in.

"Do you attend school?" He questioned as the cook set the table for them.

"We have a school at the camp with teachers. I just started school about a month ago."

"You speak well." He could not help but comment.

She beamed at him with her mouth full of bread and jam. "I speak well but when I am nervous, I dont say things well. Pretty says mommy or dajjy that did that when they were little too so I dont have to worry."

Gu Bojing modded. That did happen to him when he was little. He did not know about Xiao Ai. She always looked perfect back in school except her wckedness. Even her grades were always perfect and he had no choice but to put in more effort for his grades to not seem too low when placed next to hers. During school days he had honestly not seen Xiao Ai being serious with a book and study it. It seemed like everything came easy for her.

He remembered a time they had an inter class session and someone asked Xiao Ai if she has ever worked hard to get anything in her life.

Most people expected Xiao Ai to lash out on the girl and be all evil like she normally was but Xiao AI just relaxed back on the yoga mat and placed her elbow on his shoulder.

She smiled and responded. "I live with my dad who is a millitary man. Babe you cant expect to get things for free. You have to work for it."

The girl taunted her further. "Like how? Read a poetry book?"

Xiao Ai scoffed this time. "Not everyone gets things the same way you get them with your parents."

Yusheng whistled and everyone joined.

"I personally learn to shoot and we have a thing called survival of the fittest in our family. You can ask Baozhai since I am uninterested in explaining it to someone who has only known barbie her whole life. I like barbie too though. My mom is a business woman and with her you have to do community service sometimes and volunteering work. Happy?"

The girl could not say a word again and only looked at her phone.

"Nothing comes easily in life." She gave him a stare since he was right beside her. "Especially if you have to ask for it. If you want it you work for it."

Then he did not understand what she was saying. But he could get an hint now. Xiao Ai wanted to be worthy of his feelings before asking for him to join her on the journey of exploration but he simply wanted to be with her then without working for it. He did not want to give her time to work on her feelings and adjust herself to liking someone else apart from herself. He only wanted her to himself which was some what selfish.

"You should start school again. I will think of a school for you. Okay?"

She replied. "Okay. But I have appintement this week already."

Gu Bojing stared at her confused. "What?"

She took his phone and placed his finger on it. "I called rich and nice uncle Bolin and we are going shopping today. Tomorrow I am going to meet grandmas and grandpas which equals to getting money. I will spare some to first dajjy so he can sort himsf and the next day I have appointment with Aunt Lifen. The next with Uncle Yusheng and then lastly you. I am so busy this week." She dropped his phone and continued with her food.

The surprised Gu Bojing took his phone and saw that she had already written a to do list and assigned dates to them. "When did you do this?"

"This morning. Uncle told me how to get the numbers of the people on your phone." She pulled her lips to a smirk and looked at him. "Soneone saved someones number as Biggest Idiot."

Gu Bojing scratched his head. Biggest idiot was Little fools name on his phone.

"How did you unlock my phone?"

She gave him a dead pan look. "Your finger print or face recognition."

"How do your even know all these? You are liek what? Four? Three?"

Little girl wiped her mouth before sipping her milk. "It's rude to ask for a lady's age. And all kids who can hold a phone knows how it works."

Dumbfounded Gu Bojing did not know how to respond again and ate his meal in silence. Would it be too much to get the kid a phone? He aborted the idea. The phone for a little kid like her has its demerits. He would just buy her a game tab.

In Lifens apartment, Yusheng who was being pushed out, complained. "You told Little Fool that you would be spending the might with I your man. What changed? I slept on the sofa Little Fern."

"Surgeon Li please leave my house now. I just needed someone with me in the house so I dont dask out to kill Little fool."

Yusheng blocked her from opening the door and placed his hands on his waist. "So I am nothing but a pawn? When will there be a real 'us'?"

Lifen pushed him off and opened the door. "When you start making billionaire friends like Bolin!"
