Dongai didnt know what to say again for a while, as he thought about what Lifen said.

When he heard the gist about Bolin and Lifen and how Bolin isisted it wanst Lifen, he didnt let it bother him and didnt give much thought to it at first. But now that Lifen said she wasnt in possession of her body, he remembered this morning.

When Xiao ai pounced on Lifen this morning, the normal Lifen he knew would have pushed her off and acted like she didnt miss her instead of romancing her on the bed.

"Do you know what is going on?" Dongai asked and Lifen kept quiet for a while.

Although Lifen knew what is going on, she did not talk and only kept quiet for a while before sitting and wiping her face. She swung herself forward and backwards, as she stared into the air.

"It should be good this way?" She told herself.

"What?"

"Yusheng and I...I dont think we are meant to be."

Dongai glanced at her and swung himself too, soon he matched her pace and they both smiled. Lifen wasnt the type to keep things to herself if she really wanted to talk. So she not saying anything to him meant she didnt want to talk about whatever was happening. But it didnt mean he wouldn't bother her about it later. He needed to know what was going on and what to do about it. He might have just arrived back in their lives and no matter how fucked up or messed up they all seem to be, they would still go by the old rules.

Their problem was his problem and vice versa.

No one was to ditch another. He noticed the sky was getting dark slowly and late evening was approaching.

"What if its because you didnt give it time?"

She shook her head." We arent mean to be." She repeated an affirmative tone in her voice as if telling herself she was right and had made the right decision.

This made Dongai smile and he remembered something that had happened. "You know Xiao Ai once said this too."

This surprised even Lifen, because she knew Xiao ai was not the type to say things like that. They might be birds of the same feathers but Xiao ai was more pompous and always felt she was on top of the world. She always thought she could do everything and that nothing was above her power.

"When?" She asked stopping the swing and focusing on Dongia who was planning to stop soon. He stopped after swinging a few times and placed his feet on the floor.

"You know before we knew Gu Bojing was part of them."

She nods her head as if she understood and kept quiet for him to continue.

"Then, Xiao ai likes him very much, you know?" He asked driving her a riased brow.

She smiled faintly and dusted her hands that were full of sand.. "I did not know actually. I thought she just wanted to play him like the rest."

To this Dongai snorted and laughed. "Who said, she plays boys?" He took a deep sigh in and removed his phone from his pocket to check of he had any messages. Bolin is a really nice person. He even kept new phones in his house.

Since there was no message she texted Yusheng.

/boss where are you?/

He then continued to talk to Lifen.

"Xiao ai ddint play boys back then. She just.." he did not know how to put it. "How do I put it? She is just a jovial and simple life human being. She only does to you what you do to her. Did you not notice."

Lifen nods to this. "Do to others what you want them to do to you." They both nod when she said this. "But..."lifen started. "I dont think that aapplies toinnocent Bolin."

Dongai laughed and Lifen joined. He had checked some news last night and was quiet surprised of what his sister has done. She really was quite shameless and didnt care what everyone though of her.

"Bolin is almost like Xiao ai."

Lifen almost laughed at this statement but kept cool and only smiled.

"How the heck is that possible?"

"You woudlnt know."

"You were saying something about Xiao ai." She reminded.

He checked his phone when he got a message from Yusheng.

Dongai glances at Lifen who was glancing at his phone.

He typef back.

/she is with me. You can arrive in an hour. Its complicated but she is regretting it./

He focused on Lifen again and continued their conversation. "Then, Xiao ai thought that she wasnt fit enough for Gu Bojing."

Lifen opened her mouth wide at this piece of information. "Are you joking right now?"

"She too feels insecure sometimes. And then, you know Small lady was always following him around and it did seem like there was something between them. She told me then that it wasnt meant to be."

"Is that why she kept her distance and turned cold sudenly toGu Bojing."

"Yes. But now...look what happened. Look who ended up with who?"

He stares at her and picks his phone to call Xiao Ai.

The woman was relaxing on the couch munching on snacks while watching animes. Gu Bojing was doing the work of painting her nails and also massaging her legs.

Currently Xiao Ai was enjoying the rich Madam life. Were they not on talking terms just this morning? Sometimes the way couples in love behave is unpredictable.

Xiao AI saw that the caller was an unknown number and grumbled before picking..could it be one of the people she owed money in the past?

"Hello. I dont have money now. Later."

Dongai sighed and says.."Its not meant to be."

Xiao Ai heard her brother voice and attempts to sit upright due to excitement that rushed through her but Gu Bojing held her down.

"Brother." She called before smiling and replying.. "If its meant to be, it's meant to be. If it's not meant to be, I will make it meant to be."

Dongai nods his head showing that he likes her response and hangs up. Lifen who was listen0ng yo tehri conversation fell into a brooding mood.

Was she supposed to go against nature and fate?

Just like Xiao ai did? Did they even go against fate? Or were they just following fate?

"If it's not meant to be..." Dongai says.

And Lifen completes it. "then I will make it meant to be."

Dongai Pat's her head in a loving manner making Lifens smile to broaden.

They sit like that for some minute without saying a thing. Each thinking about their life and the direction it was going.

Meanwhile the internet had been in uproar since Xiao ai posted something on her weibo. People were beginning to speculate if they faked her death or faked her being missing.

Littleone/ Could it be that Goddess of shamelessness owes a lot of people money and so she tries to fake being dead to avoid paying?/

Xiao AI who was the subject of the topic was too busy watching animes and didnt even care about what was going on online at all.

Chairwoman Mo who saw this, asked Hannah who was passing by towards the kitchen.

"Will you not handle your sisters social media account? I heard someone has hacked her account and photoshopped somethings."

Hannah had been busy with work she didnt get to do since she was too busy hanging out with the idiots and had no time to check her social media. She collected her moms phone to check the news while drinking water and almost spat out the tweet.

This picture did not look like it was photoshopped at all.

Her mom noticed her recation and asks. "What is it?"

"Give me a second." She quickly dials Gu Bojings number.

Gu Bojing was trying to focus on his wife's nails when he saw Hannah's incoming call. He cleaned his hands and took off the glove before answering..

"Bosswoman..."

Since they spent little time together they had grown to calling each other differmet names. Each telling the other that he or she was better at business.

"Bossman...what is that on your wife's Weibo?"

He paused and glances at the evil lady that was still busy with her phone. "What do you mean?"

"Check it now please."

He checked Xiao ais weibo and face palmed himself. This woman could she not wait for some time before giving everyone heart attack?

"Its true. She is back."

Hannah felt like her breathing had frozen for some time when she heard this..

"You mean Xiao AI is back?"

Her mouth heard this and jumped off the couch. Grandfather mo was coming from the ancestral hall when he saw his daughter looking anxiously at his granddaughters phone.

She squeezed her face as she took the phone.

Recognizing that voice she rolled her eyes. "Oh it's the big sister who is alway picking a fight with me. Now that sweetheart has returned, what will you do to me? You can no longer blame me."

Gu Bojing pinched her to signal her that nobody knows about Dongai being around yet..
