Hannah gave her the middle finger and Xiao ai returned it before she left.

Afte xiao Ai left Lifen turned to Yusheng and teased.

"You are really acting like a boyfriend."

Yusheng turned to her and asked. "Am I not?"

"What?"

He repeated the question. "Am I not the boyfriend Lifen? I need to know where I stand so I dont cross my boundary."

She felt awkward and quickly gave Bolin a glance before answering. "Of course you are. What sort of a question is that? You still are."

He nods his head. "Good."

Gu Bojing takes a seat on the stool and watches the three of them. Why did it fell like Bolin was the home wrecker between Lifen and Yusheng now?

Bolin the home wrecker cleared his throat and asked. "I heard from Dongai that you two earlier today..."

Dongai did not let him finish his statement before answering him. "It was a mistake. They are good now. As you can see." He added laying emphasis on his last words.

Bolin widened his eyes when Dongai did the same to him.

Was he not simply asking? Why was he giving him signs to not talk about it?

It was now that Lifen asked. "How is it going with Miss Ou?"

He smiled once she said her name and this caused Lifen to frown. Why does that name always make him smile like that?

"Dont smile like that again. You look like a fool."

Surprised he turned to stare at her and she rolls whe eyes at him.

Ignoring her harsh words, he answered. "We are great. We are good. We ae taking baby steps. She likes duoduo a lot too. So I guess I will be using that as an excuse to visit her even more."

Gu Bojing shook his head when his brother spoke. His brother has also been hooked in love. What a pity.

"Cant yu visit her when you want? Unless Miss Ou doesnt really like you?" Lifen asked again.

Bolin leaned against the wall checking to make sure he wasnt close to any electrical sockets or the drip. "Well..."he began. "About that. Miss Ou is a bit shy and isnt really open when she is in relationships so I need to give her enough space to get used to being in relationship with me first. Baby steps Miss Long." He reminded.

Hannah made herself more comfortable on the bed almost shifting Lifen who was the patient to a side. "Awwnn...that is so adorable of you. Men trained well in the Gu family really go a long way for there women." She commented remembering how Gu Bojing isnt mad about Xiao ai making stupid statements most of the time.

"It isnt eveyday you encounter men like us." Dongai boasted and Hannah rolls her eyes.

"So..." lifen started again. "You and Miss you wont have sex then."

This made Bolin to cough as he glanced at Yusheng first and then Lifen. "Is she allowed to talk this much? Should she not keep quiet?"

Yusheng shrugs his shoulders. Now even Hannha was curious.

"So...is that true?" She asked Bolin.

"Big sister in law..." he complained.

And Xiao ai who was still at the door trying to listen to the full gist peeped in through the glass. The only person who caught her was Yusehng and he didnt bother to expose her as she quickly walked away from the door to see Porfeseor Ku.

"Does Lifen likes Bolin?" She asked herself before shaking her head. "She must just be teasing him. Bolin is fun to tease." She assured.

Bolin was now the centre of attention in the room thanks to Lifens question.

He turned to his brother for help but seeing the look on his face, he knew the man would not interfere in this.

"My personal life should be kept personal. I would not dare to disclose."

And just like that, the topic was gone.

But Dongai being Xiao ais twin brother will surly take something from her. "I am really not satisfied with that response so...man to man.."

Gu bojing cut him off. "That is enough. The topic is awkward."

Yusheng nods his head while almost chuckling. Miss Ou s one of his employees. It would really be awkward hearing people ask about ber sex life from her boyfriend who is his brother.

Xiao Ai catches up with professor Ku who seem to be walking towards their department.

"Professor should we not take the stairs?" She suggested.

The profeseor gave her a look and continued "Tired?"

She shook her head. "I am only worried about your knees."

Professor Ku took a stop and stared at her. He smiled and continued to walk. Of course she wont be the same person if she doesn't try to insult people like that how would she still be called the shameless one?

"You need not worry about my knees. They aren't complaning to you."

"Okay professor. What was it you wanted to tell me?" She asked as she matched his steps and stood side by side with him.

He let out a sigh and took out his glasses from his pockets to wear. There were only a few people moving around the corridor since it was a secluded one most people took the elevators to their department. And the ones walking the corridor were mostly student doctors who still werent used to the hospitals layout. A doctor needs know the layout incase of emergency. What if the elevators stop working?

"I spoke to Professor Stanford two days ago."

Once she heard this name, she halted and stared at the mans back. Professor Ku also stopped and turned to look at her.

"Professor..." she called.

"It involves a lot of money."

Xiao Ai chuckled and continued to walk with him. "I dont do those anymore. You should know that."

He smirked and shifted a little to her. "I know you still do." He whispered.

Awkwardly she scratched the back of her head. "I am no longer that competent. You should ask Lifen." She tried to push the work unto her best friend.

"And the money involved."

She smiled as she replied. "You know we dont do external works without taking double amounts."

The professor laughed and informed her. "This person is ready to pay both you and your friend. You need not even negotiate or try to talk too much."

"But...hypnosis..."

Profeseor Ku placed his hands to his lips to shut her up. "Professor Stanford is your mentor and needs your help in New York. I will help you and Psychiatrist Long with the approval to leave. You can just take it as a holiday and do what you know best."

Xiao Ai fell into thoughts for some minutes as they continued to walk. "Who is the patient? What is the issue?"

"He is trying to recover old memories. They seemed to have been buried too deep. And professor Stanford trusts that only you are capable enough to do the job." He paused before adding. "Despite all my reasons to make him know you are now very shameless but he was already expecting it."

Xiao ai rolls her eyes. So the professor was expecting her to be troublesome?

"Oh..I see you two already spoke in depth about me. So who is the patient?"

Professor Ku stopped and looks around to make sure no one was listening. He then shifted closer to Xiao ai and said. "Nicholas Fretakis."

Xiao ai widened her eyes and asked to be sure. "That man.. the one in New York? Wait.. you mean him..."

Profesor Ku placed his hands on his waist and told her. "Do you want to shout to inform the whole world of what we are saying?"

She covered her mouth and shook her head. But seriously you mean him...Nicholas Fretakis Lucifer?"

"I was wondering what sort of middle name was that too. But yes it is him."

"Yes..." she launched a fit into the air. "Damn it. We are in money."

Professor Ku advised. "You had better be more than careful. You know he doesnt really think much before acting."

He was referring to how he hangs women on a jet dangling in the middle of the amazon.

Xiao Ai adjusted her clothes. "Not to worry. No one can scare this woman. I am in professor."

The professor sighed and told her. "Professor Stanford will call you once I inform him of your decision."

She happily nods her head and they part ways. Xiao Ai wouldnt walk back to General surgery so she took the elevator instead. She even directed a student doctor about the layout to general surgery.

"There are color lines on the floor. You only need to follow it. Most seniors wont tell you this, but that is the secret. You only need to know the colours for ecah department."

The student doctor was very grateful and thanked her. XIAO Ai waved her hand and took the elevator.

She opened the door to Lifens room with a loud bang which surprised everyone in the room.

Dramatically she sauntered to Lifen and held her hand as she propped herslef on the bed.

"Lifen my beautiful partner. We have a job that will pay in dollars."

Once lifen too heard this her ears perked up and she sat upright. "Who is the patient?"

"Hypnosis. Nicholas Fretakis Lucifer."

"The great and lonely demon." Bolin completed.
