"Lifen?" Dongai asks getting interested. "My sister?"

"Yes. They must be having a battle again."

"You little Long brat. Did you all arrange a family meeting to annoy me this night?"

Bolin quietly walks away still feeling Hannah eyes on him.

Dongai stomps his foot and points into the air. "You Lifen when did I say I love you..how dare you..hello..hello.urrggg..these girls."

"We should leave first before he takes it out on you."

In the car, Logn An could not help but be curious. "Why was he that agitated?"

"Ahm..Lifen knows how to push buttons you know."

To that he agreed. "True."

Hannah watches as he drives the car out of the estate smoothly. She could not help but think that Lifens lifes must have been hard having so many brothers.

"Lifen must have not really liked you all when she was little."

He glance at the beauty beside him and smiles. "Why do you say that?"

Toying with the seat belt, she answers. "You know when I was in military school, I did not like Dongai that much. It is always such a relief to get home and be away from him. He was quite overprotective. And Lifen being the only girl must have been harder. I can only imagine."

Long An tilts his head to her side and he maneuvers the car around. "Maybe when was a little girl and in elementary school, yes. I particularly don't like her associating with boys."

"You werent strict with her in high school?"

"I wouldnt say." His voice sounded a little melancholic. "We werent good brothers back then. And I still feel sorry towards her till now."

Hannah did not understand why so she simply nods her head.

He explains further. "She came out to the family at an early age so she was sent abroad at that early age too. We feel more bad because we did not understand her back them. Although I did make sure to add that it was just a moment she was going through." He adds with a smile.

"Oh...I can imagine that. I dont think Xiao Ai came out."

He slowly hums. "So I heard. Lifen tells me the girl doesn't care what anyone thinks. Although I thought your fathers side would be really mad." He said that because most of the Zhao family was in the miliatry.

"Our parents got divorced at an early stage. I think I was just a little into my teenage years when they did so it came as a shock to us when we saw Xiao ai kissing a girl in school one day. You dont need to imagine how more shocked my mothers family was. Xiao Ai doesn't know but mother thought her whole life was over even though she did support her. She felt that she had lost Xiao ai because of her careless parenting. Which isnt true." She quickly adds.

Long an places a hand on her tigh to soothe her. "It must have been hard for you too."

"A little yes. All the attention was focused me completely when Dongia came out as well. That night at dinner on Thanksgiving day, grandfather went unconscious. Xiao Ai wasnt shocked when I told her in school the next day though. As if she was already expecting it."

"It isnt a bad thing to like someone of the same gender. I guess we were just a little less understanding then. What shocks me more is how Lifen and Xiao ai are ending up with boys. Especially that Xaio ai she even has a daughter. Little brat!"

Hannah chuckled to this. "Lifen likes Yusehng too."

"Which makes me not like Yusheng."

"Must you boys always be like that towards your sisters?"

"Like what?"

"I mean, we girls wouldnt really mind if our friend likes our brother. Infact we always try to help. I did that multiple times for girls when I was in high school and it always annoys Dongai."

He chuckles. "I guess we see it in a different light. Maybe because we know how cunning we can be...I would never let a friend of mine hit on my sister."

"You must not have good friends them."

"Nicholas Fretakis." He mentioned one.

"I can only guess why you would never allow that then."

They both chuckle and Hannah places her hand over his that was still on her. Her chest felt warm at how easily they discussed things and how natural it felt to talk to him. As if they had known each other for a long time.

Dongai who had no choice but to accept Lifen as his date walks towards the door ready to stomp out when he notices that the house seem too quiet.

"Did they leave without a word to me?" He looks around one more time before deciding to leave. "Absurd! She finds some man and ignores me..me her very own brother."

As he left the house, Bolin who was watching him from his window sighs. He knew Dongai was only being a protective brothe like most brothers are, but Long An is truly bad news for his sister. Long An will shatter Hannah and if the lady isnt careful she might not be able to pick up her pieces anymore.

He checked his phone and decides it is time to go pick up Miss Ou.

"Let's go see my woman." He announces to no one.

It didnt take an hour for Lifen to get ready because her clothing didn't require that much style. She knew her family members would be there and as she checked herself in the mirror again, she rubs he palm together to calm herself. She did not want to disappoint her mom even though she would have no choice tonight. Her mom would have to accept that this was what she wanted. She didnt like gorgeous dresses and tiaras. She just loves this.

A simple all black outfit. Her smoky makeup with the red lipstick made her appear even more bad. Lifen loves the style. She knew Xiao ai would like it. She loves it more that Xiao ai wont be bothered or embarrassed about her wearing a trousers and some chain belts rather than dressing in ball gowns like most ladies. As she checked her outfit one last time, she smiles at herself in mirror. She can do this.

A message came in and it was dongai.

Lifen smiles and walks out. She saw him standing by the car looking away into the night that was slowly growing deeper.

"You dont have to sound that not nice. I am a little girl with feelings you know."

Dongai AI turns around and stares at her from head to toe. "Not bad. Get in."

Lifen sticks her tongue out at him and he simply shakes his head. Was this one still a kid?

Little sisters..they sure know how to get on your nerves.

During the drive, she notices that he didnt say a thing, which was unusual of him. The Dongai she knew would always have something to say.

"You look too gloomy tonight. Is something bothering you?"

"No. Someone is bothering me." He stated while gripping the steering.

Lifen noticed his reaction and turms her face to him. Dongai glance at her and quickly looks away. A look of dread on his face.

"What? Why did you look at me like that? What is with that expression?"

"You always look ugly. You were just about to look pretty to me which is disgusting." He stops the car at the red light and holds her hand. "Lifen, continue to look like the cow you are okay?"

Lifen retracts her hand and hits his shoulder. "I dont look like a cow!"

"Yes you do. And your friend, Xiao ai she looks like a goat. I dont kmow why people think you you witches are good looking."

Lifen scoffs and fans her face. Just tonight she wanted to be in good mood before having to face he smothers disappointed expression and here comes the idiotic brother trying to get on her nerves.

"Who did you say was bothering you?" She shifts the topic knowing Dongai would probably continue to tease her if she spoke to him.

"Your brother." He replies and accelerates the car.

"Errmmm..he doesn't like you in that way. Sorry I cant help you." She quickly informed.

Seding her a glare he announced. "I too dont like him like that. I dont even like him."

Lifen clears ger throat. "That is a lie. I know my brother is good looking even though to me he looks like a pig."

"Just tell your fu*king brother to stay off my sister." He spat.

"Wow." Lifen first said and gauged his expression. He did not seem to be in the mood to joke again. "You mean Hannah?"

"Obviously. If it were Xiao ai you think your brother would still be alive?"

"Hey..calm down. Dont get me into an accident. Slow down."

Dongai grins at her when she said this. "Hey Lifen... remember that one time you gave me a ride on your power bike?"

A dreary expression was crossing her face as she swallowed hard and responded. "Yes."

"Remember how you rode so fast..." he glanced at her and smirks before stepping on the accelerator. "It's payback time."
