Harry Potter: Blood Of The Dragon Chapter 265

People in the United Kingdom or the world had never heard about something called shadow brainwashing. The idea was to make people build a certain thought or idea in their minds without letting them know that it was influenced by external factors.
Actually, most politicians used this in one way or another. One might donate to a charity and publish the news in papers, this would make the readers feel, "OH, this is a nice politician." While in reality, he could be a retired mafia boss.
Slowly, this shadow brainwashing was becoming the way of life now. Even companies would employ these tactics, the governments were doing it for way longer already.
Anything you see or read on paper or television always had some motives behind them. Motives that you don't know. For example, if a company knows that its customers love eating their meat patties, the same company would try to sell ketchup, with the tagline being, "Makes tasty even tastier" Even though the ketchup they sell is the same as others, the people will still buy it, because they have created this idea in their mind that with this ketchup the patty tastes better.
Magnus, who was a master when it came to propaganda, had been employing these tactics for a long time now. Earlier he had to buy article slots in newspapers. Now, he owned many newspapers as well as had some shares in news channels.
With this, the propaganda became much easier.
...
In a small town outside London,
Reed Pace was a family man. But he was one of the hardcore royal family haters. Why? Because he loved bashing all his life's troubles on royals, saying things like, "They sit in royal castles and take our money like mosquitoes squeezing out blood."
So, today when he opened the Newspaper, he saw the big photo of Adam, Grace, Magnus and Ragnar. It was a story about the bomb blast, but still, more focus was on their achievements. Adam and Grace were scientists who had created things that impacted daily lives or people.
When he looked at Grace's photo, his eyes turned softer. Not because he was some pervert, but because he respected her with all his heart.
Why? Well, for that, Reed Pace will need another introduction. Reed Pace, one of the first 50 people on whom Grace's new stents were successfully tested. Reed Pace, had acute heart blockage. He couldn't even walk for too long. And so, he opted for this trial because it was for free.

And now, he could walk and even jog for as long as a normal person could. So, it was not wrong to say he felt he owed his life to the woman in the photo. On top of that, it was publicly known she was the descendant of the legendary King Arthur, this by default made many people Grace's fans.
He sighed, "Perhaps, the only good family to come out of them bastards. Each one of these four is a national treasure."
"So you trust the monarchy again?" His wife asked with a mocking smile.
He scoffed, "No, never... but if it's these four... I think they'd be good for the country. These four are known to hate wasting money on pointless parties."
"Hehe... we'll see. Here, this is your lunch, now go or you'll be late for work." she handed him a box.
The man kissed his wife and left in his car. His destination? It was the giant new hospital being built in London, and he was one of the Glass workers there. He had no idea who was making the hospital, though if he did, he might have just started worshipping the Grant family.
Such scenes were common these days in many households across the whole country. Some even in Ireland admired these new royals for their amazing brain.
Bobby had also publicly told everyone that without the help of Adam and his batteries, making the mobile phones would have been impossible. So, adoration for the Grant family was coming from everywhere.
...
Hogwarts,
Magnus was worried about Severus. He had his doubts that something must have happened, something that does not allow him to speak about it.
~Maybe... someone has forced him to snoop on us? That would explain why he's running away every now and then.~
Magnus didn't know that he had already solved the mystery. But, without confirmation, he could not do anything. "I need to be careful and not say anything secretive near him, this way at least he can relax. While I find a way to get to the bottom of it."
Magnus soon forgot these things as he had better things to focus on. One, he had brought a computer with him this time, so he'd need to set that up in his room. Second, he needed to read the book "Blood Of The Dragon."
He was walking down the hallway towards his common room when he suddenly heard the faint sound of water splashing. So he went to investigate. It led him to the balcony that overlooked the lake. It was the place with the best view.

But, he quickly took his steps back. ~HOLY MOLY! They're kissing each other... a bit too much! He's sucking her soul out of her mouth.~
It was at that moment Magnus realised that by now Dumbledore had probably removed the anti-kissing rules. So the couples were satisfying their lust with just kisses.
~Eh... Gross. Should I sting them with a charm? *Sigh* I should just go.~ he headed towards his dorms.
"hehe..."
This time Magnus heard some chuckles. So he followed it. He found Sirius and James standing outside a door and peeking inside. Magnus silently went to their back and patted.
"What's the matter? What are you looking at now?" He scared the two.
"WHAT THE... Dammit Magnus, let us watch in peace." James cursed him and didn't give too much attention. Magnus, in interest, looked inside from the narrow gap in the door.
"Ah... don't... what if it activates magic?"
"Don't worry, touching isn't against the rules."
Magnus nearly vomited, "Argh... what has happened to this school? Why has everyone turned so horny?"
"Huh, you're a kid, Magnus. You won't understand the joys of this." Sirius scoffed.
Magnus scowled, "What joy? You two are currently peeking at two lovers making love. You two are the weird degenerate ones."
"Go away, Magnus. We're busy, we like being degenerates." James tried to shoo him away.
Magnus left them be and walked to the Slytherin common room. But he was having double thoughts about his decision. ~Did I make a mistake by allowing them to kiss?~
When he entered the common room, a smile took over his face. He loved being here now, mainly because of the slow and calm music, that elevated the atmosphere of the hall.
"BANG!"
The music stopped. With that, Magnus' mood was also spoiled. He quickly turned to see the machine, and his anger soared up. It was one of the lackeys of the Gang of Slytherin.
"YOU! You dare touch my personal property? And even try to break it? Get away from it, and go tell your bosses, I will break their bones if they touch my music again. And I'm putting a curse on this device from now on." He scared the boy away like someone shooing away crows from dead meat.
He quickly fixed the machine and played the music again. There was obviously a hierarchy in the Common Hall. It used to be Lucius as the leader before, but now it was Magnus. Of course, many would try to challenge his position, but he'd also swiftly deal with them.
"Hey Mag," Emma came to him with another girl. She seemed to be holding her laugh.
"Mag, this is my friend, a 7th year, her name is Gina... she is a big fan of yours." Emma introduced the tall 7th-year girl. Magnus immediately had some doubts now.
"Oh, hello, Miss Gina." He shook her hand, to which she suddenly left out a soft moan.
"Your Majesty, please teach me a lesson..." Gina blurted out of the blue. Her blue eyes seemed as if they were burning. She was a pretty girl, with good height and a good figure. She also wore glasses. But, she seemed to be having a fever, as her face was all red.
Magnus nodded, he never denies it when someone asked him to be taught, "Sure, what lesson do you want to learn?"
Gina seemed ecstatic and on the verge of orgasm, "The hardest one."
(⚆_⚆")
Magnus, in confusion and some shock, looked left and right. Emma was chuckling, but hiding her mouth with her hand.
~BLOODY HELL! HOGWARTS IS TOO DAMN HORNY!~ He shouted internally. And unknowingly, a drop of sweat fell down his forehead.
"Eh... sure... we can decide the schedule later. It was nice meeting you, Miss Gina. I must go and study now." He gave an excuse and walked away.
Gina stood there, "BYE BYE... MY DEAREST MAJESTY! I will be prepared for your hard... long... lesson."
~F*CK!~ Magnus ran this time.

But when his squad is tasked with conducting a routine patrol deep in enemy territory, everything goes to nine kinds of hell, and he quickly sees his chances at survival slipping away. When the radio operators start to pick up some funky, dirty ol’ blues all the way out in the backcountry, it’s a nice change of pace. At least until the men in Yancy’s squad start losing their minds, turning on each other with murderous intent as the music works its deadly power within them. Convinced it’s some kind of new psychological warfare initiative, the squad leader forces the men to push deeper and deeper into the Vietnamese jungle, obsessed with locating the music’s source. What they find, however, isn’t some new technology, but an ancient spirit awoken by the terrible war. Even worse, the music is changing Yancy too, awakening something buried inside of him. Only one thing is certain, nothing is ever going to be the same.See how it all began … *** PRAISE FOR SIREN SONG:Hunter's writing is as low-down, gritty, and insidious as the blues Yancy Lazarus loves.
