The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 489

When Catherine listened to his low voice, her heart seemed to stop beating for a while. She quickly took a deep breath to suppress her mood.
This man said such sweet words.
"Don't worry. No one will bully me. You forget that I'm a bully in school. When they see me, they'll have to make a detour, or I'll beat them up."
Speaking of this, Catherine regretted it. She had learned to smoke, drink, and fight when she had been young.
"A bully?"
When Sean heard her words, a touch of interest flashed through his eyes.
"Don't you know?"
She skipped her mouth. Sean should have known everything about her.
"I'd love to see who you really are."
Catherine was always careful, cautious, and alert in front of him. She thought twice about what she said, lest she should make him angry.
Sean wanted her to show her true nature in front of him and to rely on him.
Catherine was embarrassed, "In short, no one will bully me. Don't worry."
She didn't want him to go with her. If he showed up, it would cause a stir. She didn't want to be the subject at all, so she had to keep a low profile.
The next day, Sean took Catherine to the school and asked her to get off the car at the school gate.
Catherine motioned him to leave quickly. His car was too dazzling.
"Call me when it's over. Remember, don't drink."
"Yes, Sir!"
Looking at her beautiful figure and supple body, Sean sighed. Catherine was full of the strength of youth.
Catherine was still a student, but Sean has been working for many years. He thought he didn't deserve Catherine.
No, it must be an illusion. He was not old at all. He did deserve Catherine.

Catherine first went to the headteacher, Mr. Smith, and told him that she wanted to pay to help Sophia go to college.
If she gave the money to Sophia directly, Sophia would probably not accept it. Catherine could help her through the school funds.
Mr. Smith looked at Catherine in front of him in surprise. The appearance of Catherine has changed a lot.
He affirmed her idea and refused her funding.
The reason was that the enterprise, Times has agreed with the school funding program. The money has been allocated, and it would be used to fund poor students with good academic performance.
Catherine was surprised that Times would fund R High School.
"This is the first year. A senior director from the enterprise came to talk to the principal. Catherine, your idea is very good, but you do not have to pay."
Mr. Smith's words have been reverberating in her mind. This program was sure to get the approval of Sean. Maybe it was Sean who gave the instructions.
Why did he suddenly fund these poor students?
Catherine didn't know if there was such a thing in her previous life. If there was, Sophia should be funded, but why didn't she go to college?
"Catherine, you didn't apply to any universities. You should always pay attention to the supplementary information, and I will also help you."
"Thank you, Mr. Smith. I'll keep an eye on it."
Sean said he would help her go to R University, but she didn't know what the result was.
Catherine was about to leave the office when Sophia arrived.
"Mr. Smith."
When Mr. Smith saw Sophia, he smiled, "You are here. Here is your admission notice, which was supposed to be sent to your home."
Sophia had insisted on sending it to the school. She was afraid that her father would tear it when she was not at home.

"Sophia was admitted to R University. We are so proud of you. Catherine, Madison was also admitted to R University."
Catherine smiled, "She did better than me."
Sophia smiled reluctantly. The tuition fee at R University was not cheap. Although she would not live in school to save the cost of accommodation, her situation at home was not allow her to go to college.
"Are you worried about the tuition fee?"
Mr. Smith knew her family situation. Sophia's father was addicted to gambling. Sophia worked part-time everywhere when the summer vacation began.
"Sophia, don't worry. Mr. Smith said that a company would fund poor students. Your tuition fee will be paid."
"Yes. Catherine was also going to..."
"Well, Mr. Smith. I don't know how the fund works."
"Four years of tuition fees are contracted by them, and the cost of living is subsidized every year. Only poor students who are admitted to key universities are eligible to apply. Sophia, fill out the application form."
"Is there such a good thing?"
Catherine held Sophia's hand, "Of course. You are such a good student. You have to go to college."
Catherine was relieved to solve the problem of Sophia's tuition fee.
"Catherine, I still feel a little strange. You pinch me."
Catherine pinched Sophia unkindly.
"It hurts. Be gentle."
"It hurts to make sure you're not dreaming."
"My tuition fee is settled. Can I go to college now?"
"Of course."
Sophia turned unhappy when she thought of her father at home.
"If I go to college, I can't make money for him. He has a bad temper, and he keeps a long face all day long. I'm afraid he will beat my mother."
Catherine suddenly turned serious, "Sophia, do you want Linda to divorce him?"
"I thought about it."
"Linda forgives the scum again and again, but in exchange, she gets more damage. That man isn't worth it! You have to be tough and persuade your mother to divorce him. Without him, you will live a better life."
"He won't say yes."
Catherine sneered, "He has domestic violence, and he is a gambler. He doesn't care about your life and death. Even if he goes to court, he will lose."
"You mean you want me to sue him?"
"Yes! You don't have to worry. I know a lawyer who will collect evidence and charge him. The judge will divorce them."
Catherine couldn't see her best friend continue to suffer. That home was simply hell. She didn't understand why Linda still stayed with that man.
"Sophia, do you want to see your mother living in hell? Your mother is a good woman. She is still young, and she can find a better man. Don't tell me, you still have expectations for him!"
"No. My mother is too weak. Every time he is sober, he will apologize to my mother, crying that he is wrong and that he will never do it again. But he is still the same. Do you know how upset it is for me to see my mother's injury?"

Children of Danu, People of Skill Book 1. (LitRPG/Gamelit)
Hi all, this is my first attempt at fiction ever. I'm sure it's awful, first attempts at new things usually are. Hopefully you can find something you like in it. I had a great deal of fun writing it. It's a basic Litrpg/Game, God sends you to a new world to do their bidding plot. I Know I did too much telling and not enough showing. I'm working on that. The underlying system is one haven't seen or done much. a full Point Buy system, like Gurps, Champions or the Hero system. After writing it a while, I see why folks don't do it. The record keeping is tedious. And once you start doing math in subsequent chapters, you can't go back and add more action, just because you dread redoing all the math. I've got about 80k words written in two "books" on the novel so far. I'm going to edit chapters and try to drop a couple a week till it's finished. Hopefully that will work for folks. I need to punch up the amount of action. I'll be working on that as well. Thanks, Cal-P.S> The cover art is one of the two CIrce Paintings By Waterhouse.

Alex was always a little...sour...with her race car dad, the racer that everyone has known and loved since what felt like forever--at least, according to Alex-- Lightning McQueen. The secret is kept between Sally, Alex, and the known next-gen. racer, Jackson Storm, who makes a deal with Alex to keep the secret, as long as she agrees to keep a relationship with him, if only as a way for Jackson to gain more publicity than he already has, as a new generation racer. What will happen? What if the secret gets out? Find out what happens in the story of the next generation, filled with your favorite characters, such as Lightning, Sally, Jackson, Cruz, and the new girl on the track! ---- Note- Though the events in this story deal around the plot of Cars 3, please remember that this is only a fanfiction that I created for your enjoyment!
