The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 569

"You useless shit!"
The man threw the cigarette on the ground and stomped it. He snapped, "How could you let her be taken away?"
"What should we do now?"
"How should I know? Go back and wait to be punished."
Although they didn't catch Sophia, her mother was here.
The man hung up and looked at Linda with a deep meaning.
"Don't take my daughter. Please let her go. She is just a kid and doesn't know anything. Please let her go. I beg you to leave her alone!"
Linda couldn't stop crying. She could die now knowing Tom lost Sophia to others.
Catherine, on the other hand, got relieved. Luckily, she told Sophia in advance to let her run away. Or she wouldn't imagine the consequence.
"Did Tom really sell Sophia to others?"
"Why do I lie?"
The man snorted with contempt.
Catherine said, "How could I believe you?"
"Do you want to see proof again?"
"Yes."
The man snapped, "Why do I waste time with you? Fine, if I can't get the daughter, I'll take the mother."
"Stop!"
Catherine stood in front of Linda and said, "I'd like to see you try."
"Bitch, stay out of this. This is none of your business. So fuck off, or I'll beat you up."
The man thought he wouldn't spare Catherine if she wasn't good-looking, and this was none of her business.
"I have said Tom was the one that owed you money. Go find him. If he can't pay you back, kill him. What's the point of taking Linda back? It's useless."
"I don't need you to teach me how to run things. Get lost, bitch!"
"No!"'
Catherine raised her chin with pride. She looked determined with a strong will.

"How dare you!"
"I'm okay."
"Do you want to try my fists?"
"Do you want to try the fists of my bodyguard?"
Geoffrey stood in front of Catherine. He was between the man and Catherine.
"Just her alone?"
The man could tell Geoffrey knew how to fight. But he looked down on women. He was confident in his fists. If he struck, the other would be seriously hurt.
"You want your money back, right? But do you see anything valuable in the house? Tom already spent it all. I guess your boss is an idiot to lend him any money. He just has poor taste."
"What did you say?"
The man kicked over the chair, and his face turned stern.
Catherine wasn't afraid at all. Sean was ten times more ferocious than the man.
"I'm saying your boss is an idiot. Are your ears not working? I guess your boss likes to hire guys with impaired hearing."
"Bitch!"
The man reacted to the provocation since Catherine was calling him a deaf man and debasing his boss. If he could put up with such insult, he would be what she accused him of.
Geoffrey dodged the man's strike. Then the two started fighting.
The man's guys tried to help. But he stopped them. He looked down on women. It would be humiliating if he needed help in a fight with girls.
Geoffrey was good. She wasn't taken down. On the contrary, their fighting skills matched. No one would give up and make any compromise.
"Aunt Maria, take Aunt Linda and leave first."
Catherine tried to persuade them to leave first since the man didn't have the time to take Linda away.
"Stop them!"
A few men surrounded them.
"If they try anything, take them all back!"

The man named Eric was sure he would take care of the business.
"Okay, Eric."
Catherine sighed. She promised Sean not to get involved in a physical fight. But under the circumstances, she had to strike first in order to protect herself.
But Catherine was no match to Eric's men. Each of them was good at fighting, and they didn't show her any mercy. Catherine had to retreat one step after another.
"Catherine!"
Maria called her name, and she looked anxious. She was afraid someone would hit her.
"Wait, I have things to say. Stop!"
"It's too late."
"I thought you wanted money."
Eric withdrew the fist she threw at Geoffrey.
"You're very good at fighting. But don't you feel embarrassed to bully me? They would laugh at you for picking a fight with a girl. You are gangsters and should know this. You can't bully the old and women, right?"
Eric looked furious. Catherine had a nimble tongue. It was her that provoked first. But now she accused them of bullying her!
Women are not easy to be messed with.
"Hey, you just said you didn't have the money. Are you trying to lie?"
"I do not have the money."
"What?"
"You have to ask the man who owed you money. That makes sense. Right?"
"Eric, don't waste time with her. Let's take them all back. Then we will get Sophia too."
"Right. Eric, the girl, is good-looking and she looks young. We will bring her to the boss to make up for our mistakes. The boss should like it."
Geoffrey slapped on the face of the man who said the last thing.
Geoffrey said, "How filthy is that!"
"Bitch, take one from me!"
There they fought again.
Catherine was speechless. She took out the phone and answered it. It was from Sean. He said, "I'm on my way. Don't do anything silly."
"I'm not."
Catherine felt guilty and said so with a flickering look.
Sean heard the fighting over the phone. He said one syllable after another, "Catherine!"
That meant Sean was furious.
"It's not me. It's Geoffrey. Come quickly. I can't hold any longer."
"Then run!"
"What?"
It felt odd when Sean said so.
"Do you hear me?"
"Yes!"
"Five minutes!"
"Okay. I'll wait."
Catherine said gently, "Geoffrey, stop it."
Geoffrey took down one of the minions and kicked him.
Eric said, "Geoffrey right" Nice fighting."
"Thanks. You're not so bad."
Catherine thought whoever came to collect the debts must be vicious and cruel. But Eric was not as terrible as she thought. There was room for negotiation.
"Hey, my boss will be here soon. Talk with him, okay?"
"Who's your boss?"
"Someone wealthy."
"You said you had money too. Why should I believe you now?"
"It's not me. It's my boss."
"I'll wait for only a few minutes. If you lie to me..."
"I swear I'm telling you the truth. Or I would be struck by the lightning."
Eric twitched at Catherine's whimsical idea.
