The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 585

Catherine didn't know what to say looking at the SUV loaded with all kinds of stuff.
"Guys, I'm not leaving the planet. Besides, I'm coming back once a week. Is this necessary?"
There were two big suitcases for her clothes and shoes. Bedding stuff was prepared, and they were fine silk quilts. There were also packed skincare products and daily stuff. Susan even packed tampons in her luggage. That would last for one semester.
"Of course it is."
Susan said, "I've bought you a toothbrush, towels, and body shampoo. What else should I prepare?"
Catherine hurried to say, "That's quite enough. I'll buy it if I need more."
Catherine was afraid all these couldn't fit in her dormitory room. She had to argue with Susan to reduce the quilts to two.
"Mrs. Blair, you have to buy one with fine quality."
"I know, Susan."
Catherine couldn't help sighing at the king-size luggage.
Catherine mentioned yesterday she needed clothes for school. By night, Sean asked for a wardrobe of clothes sent to her, from shirts, blouses, and shoes.
Susan only packed Catherine two suitcases because she was babbling about how it couldn't fit, and she wouldn't need it, or Susan would carry four or five suitcases. That would scare others off.
Even if they were the richest in the city, there was no need to show off.
Susan asked them to load and unload the stuff slowly in case something was broken.
"I also packed you two boxes of milk for breakfast. It is the most important meal. Mrs. Blair, you have to eat something."
Susan was a caring senior who treated Catherine like her own daughter.
"I also packed some common medicine. Mrs. Blair, you have to apply enough sunscreen for freshman military training. And drink plenty of water. Don't exhaust yourself."

Catherine didn't know Susan could be nagging. But she didn't stop her knowing it was for her own good.
"Susan, I'm not a child. I can take care of myself."
In Catherine's last life, she eloped with Marco and came to a place nobody knew them. She had no family nor friends. And she had to take care of Marco. But she went through with it.
"Are you ready?"
Sean came out and asked, "What more do you need?"
"Susan got me everything I need. She's very thorough."
Susan was so considerate that she didn't forget about medicine.
"Call me if you need anything."
Susan nodded and said, "We'll send you whatever you need."
"It's not like I'm not coming back."
"What are you talking about?"
Sean frowned and snapped out.
"It's time to go."
"Get in the car."
Catherine was surprised and said, "Are you driving me?"
"Or what else?"
Catherine was flattered and pleased.
It was an hour's drive. Since they encountered the traffic jam, it took them almost two hours to arrive at the gate of Kings College.
Catherine got out of the car. Seeing the gate, students, and parents who came and went, she smiled and said, "Thanks to you, I get to be a member here.
"It's okay. I'll have Geoffrey help me."
Sean pretended to be upset and said, "You want to abandon me after you're done using me?"
"Of course not. I just thought of your car, and you will draw too much attention."
Sean was the living epitome of perfect men in comics. If she showed up, there would be chaos. Catherine didn't want the attention at all.
"Please keep the ring for me. I'm afraid I'll lose it."

Sean took it over after moments of hesitation.
Catherine waved at Sean and said, "Safe drive."
"Remember to call me.
"Okay."
Since there was too much stuff, Sean left Andrew to help Geoffrey. Andrew helped Catherine with the registration. He didn't have to wait in line and did it swiftly.
Catherine was happy with her dormitory room. It was big with four beds. There were an air conditioner and closets. The other three girls seemed nice. But they were still surprised when Geoffrey carried her stuff in.
"Mrs... Catherine, I'll take care of it. You sit down and rest."
Geoffrey started unpacking Catherine's stuff. She made her bed first and then placed her stuff where it should be. Geoffrey was good at sorting things out because she has been doing it repetitively since a kid.
Although Catherine was a bit lazy, she couldn't let Geoffrey do all the work while she watched. It took them over an hour to sort things out.
"You can go now."
"I'll come down for one sec."
Geoffrey came back with Catherine's student card and said, "Andrew has taken care of things. The money on it is enough for a semester."
"Tell him I said thank you."
"I'll go back if there is nothing more."
"Drive safely."
Geoffrey didn't leave until turning around at Catherine multiple times.
Ethel, who was lying down on the bed, suddenly looked up and said, "You must be Catherine. I'm Ethel. That's your sister?"
"I am. She's my friend. Nice to meet you."
There were Catherine, Ethel, Cecil and Anna in the dormitory room. Anna was local. Ethel and Cecil were not.
Ethel was a direct girl, and Cecil was nice and gentle. She was a bit shy. And Anna kept it to herself.
As for how they were really like, there was time to find out.
They had dinner in the campus dining room. Catherine asked to pay for dinner, and they got close soon.
On the first night at the campus, Catherine couldn't fall asleep.
This was the first time she went to bed on her own since she was reborn. Before that, she was sleeping on the same bed with Sean. Although they were saving themselves for when Catherine got older, Catherine got more and more used to snuggling in Sean's arms. It was warm and sweet.
Sean also lost sleep in his mansion.
They just got off the phone. Hearing her voice, he knew she was alright. But when he lay on the bed, he felt empty, seeing there was no one next to him.
Sean wondered whether he wouldn't go to sleep without Catherine in his arms.
Both Sean and Catherine missed each other, but they were afraid to interfere. They took the phone several times and put it down.
Catherine started to understand why Sean was so angry that she decided to stay on campus.
It wasn't easy to change a habit suddenly and abruptly. It felt terrible.
Catherine thought she had to check on Sophia the next day. She wondered how she was doing.
Catherine thought of a lot of things and fell to sleep before she knew it.

Avine: The Journey
Avine, the name recorded in the oldest records of faith concerning the creation of the world. The lands of Avine are in turmoil. A lengthy war recently ended. Casualties were terrible, but not limited to the dead alone. Breakdowns occurred in society, and kingdoms struggled with civil unrest and a never-ending stream of refugees. Mariel Bluegale has lived a relatively uneventful life. Largely sheltered from prejudice by her parents Serin and Arwaro, she grew up in a kingdom that prospered thanks to its strictly neutral policy. But the winds of war are once more on the horizon. Peace is merely the prelude to a new, even bigger conflict, one which may be decided on the identity of one. Release schedule: One chapter a week for the forseeable future. Reality caught up with me, this means I have to scale back my writing time considerably. I promise to finish it, but it will be in pieces, and likely around holidays. As always, any -painful- errors (spelling, flow, consistency or time) please let me know.
