The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 635

"What should we do, Catherine?"
Catherine frowned. She had no idea how to handle the situation either. They took all the seats that were reserved for first-year students and didn't intend to move.
"Hey, excuse me, we're here for the lecture."
No one responded.
"You took our seats."
"Do I see your names on it?"
Catherine didn't respond. She looked around. Those who came to the class were almost all girls. She saw some familiar faces from her class. She also noticed guys sat in the corners.
"You're our class monitor. Do something," said Ethel.
"I can't get rid of them."
Most of the girls were sophomores and juniors. The class monitor couldn't muster up the courage to confront them. So he stood in the corner with a sad face.
"That's outrageous." Ethel said, "It's not their class. If they want to sit in, they are the ones who should be standing. But they're bullying us."
Catherine grabbed Ethel seeing she was about to get into a fight. She said, "We should wait for the professor. He'll do something about it."
Cecil whispered, "The professor wouldn't stand by and let Catherine stand."
"Yeah. I almost forgot. Okay."
Madison waved at Catherine, "Hey, cousin, wanna sit with me?"
"No." She quickly answered her without having a second thought.
The bell rang as the class turned quiet. Almost every girl was waiting for Sean's entrance.
"Catherine, aren't you jealous?"
"Why should I? I don't care."
"Professor Blair has so many admirers. Won't that make you uncomfortable?"
Catherine smiled, "He's a wonderful man and will draw attention. I'm proud of him."
Ethel said, "But there are so many young girls on campus. Who knows what might happen. I'm just worried about you."

Anna said, "They're not Catherine, are they?" Anna made a point since Catherine was the new Miss Gorgeous.
"I'm not worried. He's devoted to me," said Catherine. She was confident. If a beauty like Pearl wouldn't draw his attention, Catherine didn't have to worry about others.
"Oh my gosh. I envy your confidence," said Ethel.
"Silly, if you're in a loving and exclusive relationship, you will know," said Catherine.
Ethel inadvertently became the witness to Catherine's romance.
The second Sean walked into the classroom, he frowned.
He looked around and saw Catherine. She was standing at the back of the room. Then he turned displeased.
Catherine threw Sean an angry and sad look. Sean knew she was blaming him.
"Who would like to tell me what's going on?" asked Sean.
Catherine's class monitor, Danny Cobb, said, "Sir, we're all here for the class."
"What? I thought I'm teaching class four."
Sean threw the textbook on the table and held both arms on it, saying, "Only class four students stay."
Then other girls stood up with embarrassment.
A girl said with a gentle voice, "Sir, we're here for the lecture."
"What grade are you in, Miss?" asked Sean.
"Sophomore."
"How do you get to be a sophomore?"
"I finished my credits as everyone else did."
"How do you do in calculus?"
"D-."
Sean continued asking, and his voice was cold.
"Should sophomores take calculus?"
The freshman was required to take calculus. Sophomores should take linear algebra or advanced maths.
"Can't I?"
"The grading professor gave you D- out of sympathy. Don't you know that? Do you guarantee you can grasp it if you listen?"
That was harsh. But Sean was true. Sometimes, students couldn't pass the make-up examinations. The lecturers sometimes gave them D or D-, so they could get credits.

So the student asking questions failed calculus, or she passed after make-up examinations. The girl got blushed, both nervous and anxious, staring at Sean. But at the same time, she was happy Sean talked to her.
"I came here because I didn't do well in calculus."
"No matter how long you spent in my class, you can't pass. You know why? Cos you're here for the professor."
Catherine held back the urge to laugh. Sean could be ruthless.
The girl got blushed and said, "I need to study calculus to go to postgraduate school. Your class is clear and logical. So I'm here."
Sean said, "It's fine. But you can't take places that are not yours."He thought the best he could do was not kicking her out.
Then most girls not in class four stood up, so Catherine got her seat.
"Catherine, come on. Let's take a seat." Ethel said as she threw a provocative look at other girls hogging the seats. She was in a good mood feeling justice was done.
"Professor Blair is so formidable. I wouldn't talk to him like the girl did."
Catherine pouted, "He doesn't care what others think of him."
"But he did it for you. He must feel bad seeing you stand in the corner."
"Listen to the professor. You don't want to flunk calculus, do you?"
"No. I will pay my attention."
Sean looked at the girls, not in class four. They were reluctant to leave. He knew what they were thinking. He wouldn't let Catherine be hurt in any way under his watch.
"I have to tell you a few things before I start class. No photos are allowed. If you are here for the class, be quiet, respectful, and move away from seats that aren't for you. If you're here for anything else, just go."
Sean wasn't as easy as other lecturers. He didn't need to be nice to his students. He had his way of teaching, which couldn't be judged by others.
"Don't show up if you're here for anything but calculus. And don't interfere with other students. This is my class, and you have to follow my rules."
Sean dealt with the situation in his way. Catherine thought the way he took care of the students was effortless and efficient. She liked it. And no one dared to say no because they were intimidated by his looks.
But, the more harsh and indifferent he looked, the more charming girls found him. Sean inadvertently got a large group of female fans, not that he intended to make it happen.
