The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 644

Sean snorted, "I don't find you are scared."
"Don't find it? Shall I tremble? Do you think I try to pretend to myself?" Catherine thought to herself.
She shook her body and then asked, "Can you see it? Mr. Blair, please forgive me. I believe you are a tolerant person."
"Uh-huh."
Sean was not angry now. But as soon as he thought back, he became furious and even wanted to cut Elliot's hand.
"What is his name?"
"Elliot Holloway."
"His last name is Holloway?"
Drew remembered Elliot's name. He thought to himself, "Alas, he will be dead."
"Um… Elliot did nothing wrong. Since I beat him before, he wants to fight back. You don't have to destroy him."
Sean was speechless.
Drew felt anxious too.
"Did you have fighting?" asked Sean.
"Um. Not real fighting. I just did some movements. You know I am not good at fighting. I didn't hurt him."
"Catherine Stewart, how dare you are!" said Sean.
Sean became unhappy and thought to himself, "She dares to fight with a man."
"It is not my fault. I have to do it."
Catherine looked at Sean pitifully and said, "Do you remember the party day when Pearl and your sister set a trap for me. It happened on that day. I just want to fight back. Am I wrong?"
Sean glared at Catherine.
Catherine tucked her neck into the collar and added, "Fine. It is my fault; it is all over. Are you going to teach me a lesson for him?"
Sean thought to himself, "What a stubborn girl!"
"He likes you," said Sean.
"Doesn't she know about it? I am worried when she fights with others because I am afraid she got hurt." he thought to himself.

"Really? He treated me fiercely. I don't think he likes me. I think he wanted to fight with me to prove himself," said Catherine.
She pretended that she knew nothing about it. Catherine knew it was improper to admit it.
"Uh-huh," said Sean.
He only believed what he saw, "Elliot held her hands tightly. He even wanted to send her back home. From his eyes, I know he must like her."
"Elliot did nothing. You don't have to be angry," said Catherine.
Catherine was worried that Sean would destroy Elliot's career, just like Pearl.
"Sean doesn't have to hurt Elliot. Elliot doesn't hurt me." Catherine thought to herself.
"Plead for him?" asked Sean.
Sean tightened his chin and became angry.
Catherine was speechless and thought to herself, "It is a similar situation. Sean once asked me whether I pleaded for Marco before. It seemed that he misunderstood me."
"Um. You don't have to destroy his life. He didn't hurt me and told me he loves me," said Catherine.
She held Sean's arms tight and said gently and tenderly, "I know you are unhappy about it. It is reasonable that you drove Susan and Lily out of London because they hurt at first. But Elliot is different from them."
Sean pursed his lips and thought to himself, "How can she know about it?"
"I know you won't hurt someone who doesn't hurt me. I agree with you."
"I don't mean to destroy him," said Sean coldly.
Catherine thought to herself, "Well. He didn't say it. Fine, I wronged him."
"I wronged you. My husband is the kindest man in the world."
Drew twitched his mouth and thought to himself, "Ever since Mrs. Blair fell in the lotus, they completely changed. Are there problems in her mind? She had never said such kind of sweet words before, but Mr. Blair likes it. As soon as Mrs. Blair talked to him gently and tenderly, he will be happy. They are meant to be a couple."

"You are flattering."
"Don't you like it? Am I cute?"
Sean couldn't help but smile.
When Catherine saw his smiling face, she breathed a sigh of relief. "he became happy again. Although he looks very scared when he is angry, it is easy to make him happy again," Catherine thought to herself.
"When does Leydon's engagement party begin? Are we late?"
"It doesn't matter even if we are late."
Catherine thought of Clara and thought to herself, "Clara must be sad now. Will she come?"
"Who is Miss. Darby?"
"Her family has a media company, and they have a business corporation with Leydon's family."
"So, it is a suitable marriage."
"Basically."
"How long has Leydon known Miss. Darby?"
"A few years."
Since their family has business cooperation, Leydon and Emma knew each other before.
Sean touched her head and asked, "Why do you ask this?"
"Nothing."
Catherine felt a little bit sad when she thought of Clara, "I feel a slight sense of foreboding. I don't want to go there."
When Catherine went back home, she immediately washed her face, wore makeup, and got dressed. Susan had already prepared the dress for her. It was said that Sean picked it.
"No hurry. Take your time," said Sean.
"Of course, I am hurried. It is almost 6 o'clock. And it is the engagement party of your best friend. It is impolite if I am late." Catherine thought to herself.
Catherine put down the eyebrow pencil, looking at the mirror to make sure everything was okay. And then she turned around and smiled at Sean, "Done."
"Come here."
Catherine immediately walked to Sean.
As soon as she kept balance, Sean grabbed her in both arms.
"Don't kiss me. I put on the lipstick."
Sean laughed in a low voice, "Do you want to kiss me?"
"No," said Catherine.
Sean kissed her shoulder and said, "This dress suits you well."
It was a light pink and knee-length dress with small dew shoulders. With slight pink facial makeup, Catherine looked more beautiful.
Sean became more excited.
"All right. It is time to go."
They arrived at the hotel.
It was the most luxurious hotel in London. There were many guests in the banquet hall.
Catherine was standing at the gate of the hotel, seeing the long carpet had been rolled out all the way, and there were a few big garlands.
Everyone who came to the banquet wore a smile.
"I can't imagine Leydon got engaged at such a young age. I thought that he would get married late."
In Catherine's eyes, Leydon was a cold man. He didn't care about anyone or anything.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
