Sean planned to drop Catherine back at the room she had on campus. But hearing singing made him change his mind. He decided not to drop her back.

Sean gave the key to the apartment near the campus to Catherine when he showed her the place the first time.

The second they were in the room, Sean pinned her against the wall near the door and started kissing her enthusiastically.

His breath and looks were hot and burning, as was his kiss. Catherine was drowned in the overwhelming passion and almost couldn't take it. She snuggled in his arms and let him kiss her while hearing his pounding heartbeat.

"Are you okay?" asked Catherine. Sean suddenly turned into a beast, which made her a target. Catherine couldn't get more uncomfortable.

"Catherine, you want to grow old with me?" asked Sean.

"What?" Catherine said since she wasn't sure why he asked it.

"I have to hold you to that promise."

Then it came to Catherine because of what she said. She said, "We're married. Aren't we supposed to grow old together? Or you don't age at all? When I turn 80, and you still look the same way you do now?"

Sean caressed her jaw, "What rubbish are you talking about?"

"I have to warn you about the consequences of cheating on me with a younger girl."

"Do you twist my meaning on purpose?" asked Sean.

Well, Catherine did. Feeling shy and embarrassed, she was not brave to face his hot look.

"I'll stay after class on Tuesday.'

"What?"

"Will you keep me company?"

"How about toothbrushes?"

"I've asked Andrew to buy everything."

"Well, that's short notice. Can I say no?" Catherine asked.

"Not really."

"Don't you need to go to work?"

"I'm in charge of major projects. The rest will be handled by my team."

Catherine pouted, "That's nice."

"Aren't you happy I stay on?"

Sean held her waist gently, and Catherine couldn't help trembling. She hurried to shook her head, "I'm very glad."

Catherine was both surprised and pleased to find Sean's sentimental side.

This was a sweetly sensual night.

The next morning, Sean dropped Catherine off on campus and left. Catherine hurried back to change her clothes and left for the morning class.

Everything seemed back to normal.

Elliot's losses eased down a few days later. Actually, losing a basketball match wasn't a big deal, factoring in the fact he lost to Sean. Some were jealous he got to play with Sean.

Catherine was speechless when she heard about it. Sean was so popular, and everyone wanted to bite him.

"Catherine!"

Ethel's sudden scream shocked Catherine, who was burying her head in sewing, and she hurt her fingers. Blood came out.

Ethel looks embarrassed, seeing she was responsible for Catherine's wound. She said, "I'm sorry for yelling, Catherine. But something happens. It's about you."

"What is it?"

"Someone uploaded the photo of you and Professor Sean at the night market on the forum. I'll check the website first. I was told by the girl living next door."

Cecil and Anna came around too.

Catherine frowned as she recalled that night at the market. It wasn't far from campus, and it was likely they were seen. To her surprise, she and Sean were identified so quickly, and the photo was posted online. She couldn't help wondering whether the purpose was to stain her name or draw attention.

"Catherine, it's you. The photo is clear."

Cecil read out loud the title, "Miss Gorgeous's romantic evening with Professor Sean."

"What the hell is that?" asked Catherine. There were five pictures posted.

In the first, she was holding hands with Sean. And their interlocking hands were circled with red color. In the following four pictures Catherine smiled at Sean while holding a cupcake, Sean tugged her hair behind her ears gently, and Sean paid for the shoes at the shoe store and held the bags.

"These photos are suspiciously clear. You can't deny it's not you and Professor Sean."Ethel said.

"Maybe they took more pictures but just posted the clearer ones."

"That's one way to look at it. But Catherine, weren't you aware you were being followed? The photos suggest they were stalking you. It's horrifying."Ethel said.

"Do you remember the anonymous letter?" Catherine frowned.

"Are you saying it's the same one who took these photos and uploaded them on the campus forum?"

"I don't know. They stopped sending me any more letters. At first, we all decided it was a prank. But there's something odd about it."

Neither Sean nor Catherine noticed anyone following them. There were so many people that night. Maybe they were far from them. But they were being spied on and followed and never crossed Catherine's mind.

"I'll read the comments first." Ethel was keen on such things since she liked to gossip. She read every comment and started writing hers.

"What did the comments say?"

"Read them."

Most were surprised and shocked. They wouldn't believe Sean was in a relationship with Catherine.

Some called Catherine a tramp for seducing her professor. It wasn't hard to guess most were jealous girls.

Anyway, the majority of the comments were unfriendly and even hostile and vicious.

"These people are so jealous and vicious. You are boyfriend and girlfriend. What's wrong with hanging out together or holding hands? I think you could kiss in public, and that's still not their business."

Ethel gave Catherine a sympathetic pat on the shoulder. She said, "Catherine, I have to say I have a bad feeling for what's going to happen."

Catherine shook her head and sighed.

"Professor Sean is the most popular man on campus. He is worshiped by so many girls. I bet they fantasized about having a relationship with him. So their intentions aren't as pure as they suggest in the comment. They will be over the moon if Sean gives them any loos. Catherine, they are just jealous."

Girls know girls the most. They sounded self-righteous on the one hand. But they must secretly dream about it with Sean. So Catherine became the collateral damage of their rage.
