The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 671

"For me, you are my happiness." What Sean said echoed in Catherine's ears, and it was simple yet romantic. She was touched.
Sean seldom said anything emotional, but every time he did, Catherine felt her love for him grew a bit more.
The fireworks kept popping up in the sky. Like the splendid firework show, Catherine found herself pleasant and peaceful.
Catherine could feel her heart blossoming. The flowers grew from the seeds Sean planted in her heart. Without her knowing it, her heart was full of Sean. Her obsessions with Marco and hatred for Sean were erased by his continuous support and ongoing care. Catherine might not realize that she has fallen in love with Sean.
"It's late and windy. Let's go home." Sean said.
"Okay."
Sean drove Catherine back to the house. When they got home, Sean's family went to sleep. Geoffrey was waiting by the door as Sean texted her so.
Sean held Catherine's hands, and they went upstairs to their bedroom. Catherine asked, "Sean, you knew about Marco and me. Why do you insist I marry you?"
"He's not worthy of you."
Sean did an investigation on Marco. He had a sick mother, brothers, and sisters to raise.
"It's one thing he comes from a poor family. If he really liked you, I wouldn't mind helping him. But he's a despicable man."
"How do you know what's he like? I don't think he has done anything that bad?"
Back then, Marco was in high school. He was fully concentrated on studying. His teachers and friends all complimented him for assiduousness. Why did Sean dismiss him as a despicable man? Catherine was curious.
"He accepted your gifts even if he wasn't interested in you," Sean answered.
As far as Sean was concerned, Marco was trying to take advantage of him to have a better life.

"It makes sense. If Marco was a respectable man who knew about honor, he would turn me down thinking of my gifts as handouts. But he went ahead and took anything I gave him. You have sharp eyes."
"Only you can be a fool to be cheated by the way he pretended to be," Sean said. He was a bit jealous too. Between him and Marco, who was better-looking? Who was more distinguished? It only took one look to tell.
But at that time, all Catherine cared about was the hypocrite Marco, Sean thought. His instinct told him Marco was a coward who would lie to rich girls to get what he wanted. Never for a second did Sean think Marco was a good man. He almost resented Catherine for loving him and almost eloping with him.
Catherine could tell Sean was feeling jealous. That she courted Marco and liked that piece of shit must hurt Sean.
"Don't find Marco attractive at all now. He is more of a nerd than a gentleman. I was totally fooled. Actually, he's a spineless little man who couldn't take any consequences. Sean, you are the best."
"Really? I'm the best?"
"Yeah. You have a perfect look, a kind heart, and a great body shape. Most of all, you're very nice to me. For me, you're flawless. I must have done something incredibly good to deserve you. And I now see why there are so many girls trying to be your wife."
"Really?"
"Yeah. You are the best of the best."
Catherine said this on purpose to comfort him. She knew what happened between her, and Marco stung Sean fiercely. Actions speak louder than words. Catherine peeled grapes and held them by Sean's mouth.
Sean ate the grape and licked her finger, saying, "So sweet."

Catherine got blushed. Sean couldn't help it and bent over to kiss her.
Sean tried to let Catherine feel how intensive his feelings were. Sean's affection almost melted Catherine like a hot stove.
"Sean, we're in the living room."
"No one will come in."
Catherine panted and rested her head on his chest. She could hear how powerful his heartbeat was.
"You just told me you would help Marco if he really liked me. Do you mean you'll give up?"
Sean buried his head in her neck, smelling the fragrance of her hair, saying, "No."
"But if he liked me, and I liked him, it would be wrong for you to force me."
"I don't care. You are mine."
Sean went to a lot of trouble to find Catherine. He only wished he had more time to spend with her. How could he give her up?
"But that's immoral."
"So what?" Sean said gently, "I have liked you since you were six. That's 13 years of affection."
Sean's voice was like the liveliest music Catherine ever heard. It reminded her of the sounds of pearls and jewels hitting the plate and water running. She was drowning in it. At the same time, her heart couldn't stop pounding with her face and ears both turning red.
Sean wasn't a man of expressing his feelings. He was a bit emotionally withdrawn. No matter how deeply he was attracted to her, he would keep her by his side and not allow her to leave. But he later realized what he did was wrong. Catherine would fight for her freedom.
Catherine has always been a kind girl. Sean realized this and decided to change his approach. He started to go easy, including spending time with her to know her. It worked. He preferred their state. It was lovely and pleasant. Sean held Catherine down on the bed and said, "Everything is cleared. Now go to sleep."
Lying next to him, feeling his hot breath, Catherine couldn't go to sleep. Then she started to review her relationship with Sean. She hated him in her last life for breaking up with her and Marco. In this life, at first, she didn't think much of Sean. But gradually, she fell in love with him. Being with him made her feel so safe and content.
Catherine was deeply impressed with the patience and energy Sean put into finding her. There must have been moments of despair when he couldn't find him no matter how hard he tried. But he wouldn't give up. He could have found a girl with better looks who came from a nicer family, but he was determined to find her, marry her and start a new life with her.
Sean was also such a loyal partner. He considered taking one look at women who tried to flirt with him as a waste of time. But with her, his patience never ran out. He put on an indifferent look, but he had the warmest heart and the most dedicated will.
