The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 681

Now Angela felt that Drake was really like her teacher. He asked her to hand in a plan. Really? Was she a child?
She was planning on revenge, to make all the people who tried to kill her go to hell.
But she could not tell Drake that. She knew that Drake just wanted her career plan or some shit like that.
Well, forget about it. She would think about it later.
Before she left, Aiken gave her a card. It was a shiny black new debit card.
"What's this?"
"This is your pocket money," Aiken replied. He then asked one of the female secretaries to take her shopping.
Angela wanted to refuse, there was nothing wrong with her clothing! But Aiken continued on, "Mr. Drake said that you are a member of the Thorne family. You can't embarrass the Thorne outside."
The secretary took Angelo to an upscale clothing store. Surprisingly, it was a brand that Angela already enjoyed. According to Angelo's height and figure, the secretary selected two sleek suits for him. Then she handed Angelo an exquisite box from her branded purse.
"Young master Angelo, this is a limited edition wristwatch, one from Mr. Drake's collections. He asked me to give it to you."
Angela looked down at the box in confusion. She was not stupid – she knew just how expensive the brand was, and Drake wanted to give one to her! But why? She carefully opened the box and took out the watch, and put it on. It fit snugly on her wrist like it was made for her. That is odd, Angela thought. How did Drake know her wrist size?

The party was held in a villa Daisy always preferred to rent. She liked to go all out for her house parties, from the food to the decorations to the live DJ. She had been preparing for this for a month!
"Daisy, I heard that you invited that boy? Angelo? Do you seriously want to degrade yourself by being seen with him?"

"Don't say that about him! He's a sweet boy and caring!"
"You do know that Thorne treats him like trash? He is not worth anything, and yet you still choose to waste your time with him?"
Hearing that, Daisy frowned, "Angelo is not the kind of person you think. You can't bully someone just because of their circumstances. If you have a problem, you can leave!" Daisy replied angrily. She was tired of being nagged by her friends about Angelo.
For Daisy, Angelo was one of her best friends. The relationship between them was not what others thought.
As she turned around, Daisy was confused to see someone entering the door. He was wearing a sharp black suit matched with expensive shoes. He styled his short hair with gel, slightly put on a beige foundation, accentuating his eyes. She still considered her appearance to look like a young boy, everyone knew.
"Oh my God! Who is that?" Daisy could hear her guy friends going crazy!
"Yeah. So hot!"
"Wait! Is that Angelo?"
The young boy at the door had short-cropped hair in a pixie cut which suited him to get up perfectly. His face exuded a high and energetic spirit. Instead of the timid, shy young boy, Angelo stood with bright eyes and a glowing face, completely different from before.
Angela walked over to Daisy and handed over a box, "Here's a gift for you!"
Daisy was dumbfounded. When she opened the box, all her friends gathered around her.
"Oh my God, Daisy! Is this the C limited edition bracelet?"
Many people looked up at Angelo (well, Angela) in surprise.
Daisy took out the bracelet with a smile, "Oh my God, Angelo! Thank you so much! You are the sweetest!"
Daisy said that on purpose, to make Angelo look good in front of her other friends.
Knowing Angelo's situation in the Thorne family, she did not think Angelo could afford such an expensive bracelet and thought it might be a fake. To avoid Angelo being exposed, Daisy quickly closed the box. However, before she could do so, Angela grabbed the box and took out the bracelet.

She put it on, Daisy. "Because you deserve the best!"
In Angelo's memory, Daisy was the one who treated her the best out of everyone.
Angelo was different today. Daisy could clearly see that. Usually, Angelo was like a timid little boy, acting more like a small child than a grown, confident eighteen-year-old man.
Hearing Angelo's words, Daisy blushed, "Oh come on, now you're just joking!" Daisy replied and nudged Angelo playfully.
Daisy looked at the bracelet carefully; to her shock, she found that it was real. How did Angelo get it? There was no way he had that much money!
"You must be Angelo. Nice to meet you, Angelo!"
A girl in a red dress came over and looked at Angelo with admiration.
Angela stayed still and looked at the girl warmly; however, her eyes turned cold when she realized who it was.
She did not expect to meet Stella Hill, Nathan's sister, here. When she was in love with Nathan, Stella had given her a hard time, saying that she was not good enough to be her sister-in-law. Whenever that happened, Nathan always took Stella's side when Angela complained to him. But his sweet words would coax her out of her bad mood.
Sensing Angelo's indifference towards her, Stella slightly bristled but did not give up.
Usually, Angelo did not dare to look at her. But now, he was outright ignoring her! This aroused Stella's competitiveness. So, she tried again. "Did you hear me, Angelo?"
"Yeah." Angela peered at Stella, took Daisy's hand, turned around, and walked over to sit down on a sofa, once again ignoring Stella.
Stella stomped her feet angrily. She had never been treated this way before! This Angelo was outrageous!
Daisy approached Angela and whispered, "Do you have any problems with Stella? You seem to hate her, do you?"
"No, I don't have a problem. I just don't like such a hot-tempered girl."
"Yeah. I did not want to invite her. But my brother likes her. What can I do? A bunch of idiots, these boys are, I'm telling you!" Daisy complained.
Angela sighed in annoyance when once again she saw Stella walking over holding a glass of wine.
Surprisingly, Angela raised her eyebrows, "What's this, Stella?"
"May I have the honor to propose a drink to you, Angelo?" Stella said coquettishly.
Her words made Angela's skin crawl. She stared at Stella for a few moments, took the glass, and drank a small sip.
The reality was that seeing Stella just now made Angela emotional. She almost forgot that she was not Angela but Angelo, a completely different person. Angela closed her eyes and tried to forget the train of thought. She could not get emotional, not here, not now when all eyes were on her and Daisy.
Angela calmed down and realized that she could start her revenge on Stella, who seemed quite interested in her.
Seeing Angelo take the glass of wine, Stella happily sat down next to him. She took another glass from the waiter and handed it to Angelo, "Easy, you should not drink like this. Drink slowly so you can taste the grapes."
Daisy had to take care of her other guests, so Angela was now alone with Stella and her friends.
Soon, Angelo was drunk. Gosh, that wine must have been really strong as she started to feel lightheaded. Stella grabbed her arms and led her outside the villa to a waiting car.
As soon as Angelo got into the car, Stella climbed in, looked at Angelo hungrily, and started feeling his chest underneath his coat. Angela almost stopped breathing and immediately sobered up. Seeing Stella's lips approaching, she turned her head to avoid meeting her lips, which then fell on the side of her face.
"What are you doing, Stella?"
