The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 726

Finally, Angelo waited all night in front of the emergency room. She was worried about Drake's situation, yet she reminded herself to be calm.
In the morning, the red light finally went down.
As soon as the attending doctor stepped out, Angelo went up to him.
"What about Dra… him?"
She wanted to say Drake's name but then remembered her identity now and changed her words.
The doctor didn't pay attention to her words. He took off his mask and handed a pen to Angelo.
"He is in a coma caused by food poisoning. Fortunately, the rescue was in time. He is out of danger now. Are you his family? Please sign here."
Hearing that, Angelo was finally relieved and smiled. When she saw the operation paper, she gave a complex look.
"I'm sorry, doctor. I'm not his family."
Angelo gave the pen back to the doctor. She checked the time. It was seven o'clock.
Since Drake was out of danger, she should leave now. After all, she was still wearing a dress.
She calculated the time and smiled. She could attend the speech contest in time.
While thinking, she walked out straight without looking up. The next second, she bumped into someone.
"God! Are you blind?" A familiar voice sounded.
She looked up and saw Patrick in front of her.
It turned out that someone recognized Drake when he was sent to the hospital and informed Patrick. Then Patrick was here.
"I'm sorry," Angelo apologized at once.
She was in a hurry to go to school, so she didn't want to tangle with Patrick too much.
She stepped back and walked past Patrick to leave when her hand was held by Patrick.
When Angelo looked up, Patrick saw her face and was stunned by her beauty.

He had seen many beauties, but none of them was prettier than Angelo. And somehow, he felt that the girl looked familiar. Usually, he would not forget such a beautiful girl!
"What are you going to do, sir?"
Angelo turned to look at Patrick and then lowered her head at once. She was startled to sweat.
At this moment, a nurse walked to Patrick and whispered something in his ear. Patrick breathed a sigh of relief and then looked at Angelo, "You are the one who saved my brother? Thank you so much! Please leave me your number. We will reward you."
With that, he let go of Angelo's hand and handed his phone to Angelo.
He had learned that Drake was out of danger on his way to the hospital. So, he wasn't in a hurry to see him.
"I think it's not necessary."
When Angelo saw the obsession in Patrick's eyes, she knew what he was up to. So she just refused him.
Then she walked away. She had no time for Patrick. But Patrick trotted to catch up with her and blocked her afront, trying to call her attention.
He loved this kind of cool girl and would not let her go. He was determined to get her number anyway.
Patrick gave a charming smile. When he claimed his identity as the fourth son of the Thorne, the girls were happy to provide him with numbers. So, he believed he would make it this time.
"Get out of my way!"
Angelo didn't care about Patrick's identity. She checked the time. More than ten minutes had been delayed here. She had to go to school now.
So, she didn't bother to talk with Patrick and pushed him aside.
Patrick stayed, gave a smile, and stopped Angelo again.

Angelo aroused his interest, not only because of her beauty but also for her cool character.
"What do you want?"
Looking at Patrick, Angelo was upset. She just talked in a bad manner.
"I just want your number."
Looking at Angelo, Patrick wanted to conquer her, and the desire grew stronger and eager when one beauty didn't love his status.
Angelo knew Patrick would not let her go if she didn't give him her number. She checked her watch and then quickly took Patrick's phone.
She rolled her eyes and then inputted a series of numbers on the phone. Then she gave the phone back to Patrick, who looked at the number.
Angelo took the chance and walked away immediately without any delay. Looking at the back of Angelo, Patrick was so excited that he dialed the number.
"Sorry. The number you dialed does not exist…"
Hearing the mechanical voice, Patrick knew he was screwed. He hurried out but didn't find Angelo anywhere.
When Angelo got out of the hospital, she saw Daisy waiting for her in the car and hurriedly got in.
"You're finally out," Daisy said. Before she came, she had prepared a set of clothes for Angelo and asked her housekeeper to iron them.
She didn't go in for fear that Angelo would expose because of her.
"Take me to school now. I need to change my clothes," Angelo urged.
It was ten minutes before the speech contest. Daisy sped up.
But then Angelo found that it was not the way to the school. She was confused. Daisy saw her face in the mirror.
"You can't wear clothes with wrinkles when you go to the competition. I have asked the housekeeper to iron them. Besides, others may find you changing at school. It's safer at my house."
Angelo nodded and watched her watch with worry.
Daisy's house was near the school. Angelo quickly changed and then took Adam's apple from her pocket and attached it to her throat. Then she went to school.
By the time she arrived at the site, the speech contest had lasted for half an hour. When she saw Susie, she felt sorry. Just as she was about to apologize, Susie said, "Why are you so late, Angelo? You are the next one. Prepare yourself!"
Angelo was the last participant, so she was not late. She agreed and went backstage to get ready.
Soon, it was Angelo's turn. She got on the stage with confidence. After all, she did the best in French.
After the speech, there was thundering applause. Without exception, she became the champion with the highest score.
