The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 743

Soon, they went to a brain surgeon. Looking at the doctor, Angelo thought she was about to be exposed.
"Give her a brain CT scan," Drake said to the doctor, who nodded, put down the medical history, and stood up.
"I don't want to, Drake. This is not necessary,"
Angelo hid behind Drake, looking reluctant. Drake then looked back at Angelo coldly.
"I'll go."
Looking at Drake's stern look, Angelo had to agree. She swallowed as she remembered what Drake had done to her just now.
She followed the doctor to the CT scan room. Drake just watched the scanning and waited.
When it finished, Angelo walked slowly out and cautiously looked at Drake.
The doctor was holding her brain CT picture and explaining something to Drake, who frowned. Judging from Drake's face, Angelo felt something terrible would happen, and she might be in trouble. She could not afford to expose herself right now until her revenge wouldn't be done.
She closed her eyes and blamed Daisy for her bad idea in her mind. She should not trust her best friend putting into an act with this terrible idea.
"Come here."
When she heard that, she opened her eyes and went over.
Looking at Drake, she was quite anxious and clenched her fists.
"Drake," she called him.
Drake's eyes darkened as he heard her. He touched her head and asked, "Is it hurt?"
"Ah?"
Angelo was stunned and then came to understand something. She covered her head with hands, pretending to be in pain.
"Yeah. It hurts. I... will you please be gentle,"
"That's right," the doctor said.
He pointed at the backside of the head in the picture and looked at Drake.
"Look, there is a bruise here, which was caused by a heavy blow when he was a child. It made him lost part of his memory. Now in the same place, he suffered another stroke. So he lost all his memory."

Angelo was confused when she heard the doctor. She thought about it and then found that the owner of this body did lose some memory.
According to the doctor, if someone had hit her hard on the wound, she might lose her memory. As she thought about that, she was scared.
"So when will she recover?" Drake asked.
Angelo pricked up her ears to hear the doctor's answer, considering how to respond.
"I'm not sure. He may recover after a while. Also… he may never think of what had happened."
Bullshit! Angelo said in her mind.
But the doctor's words were good for her. She could tell others that she recovered at any time or never.
"All right," Drake replied lightly. Then he picked up the picture and walked out.
Angelo followed up at once. She was a man who lost all the memories now. According to her acting experience, she should be very dependent on Drake, who treated her well.
Thinking of that, she grabbed Drake's hand and asked, "Where are we going, Drake?"
When Drake saw Angelo like this, he clenched his fists in anger, swearing that he would make the people who kidnapped Angelo pay.
For a while, Angelo didn't hear Drake's answer. Just as she was about to ask again, Drake came to himself. He relaxed his face and said, "Let's go home."
The two walked to the car, got in it, and went home.

At the Thorne' House.
"Where's Patrick?" Drake asked Hale.
Angelo had amnesia. So Drake thought she needed to be familiar with the house first.
Since he had to investigate Angelo's kidnapping and find out who poisoned him, he had no time to show Angelo around. So, Patrick was the best person to do it.
"Mr. Patrick is reflecting on himself in his room," answered Hale.

Hearing that, Angelo pursed her mouth with disdain.
He might be reflecting himself in a bar now, she thought.
However, Patrick showed up at this moment. He looked at Drake and asked ingratiatingly, "What do you want me to do, Drake?"
"Angelo had amnesia. You show him around the house," Patrick nodded briskly. Then, as if remembering something, he rubbed his hands and looked at Drake with a smile.
"But you asked me to stay in my room…"
"It's over."
Drake glanced at Patrick as he spoke. Patrick gave a smile and winked, "Don't worry, Drake. I'll tell him everything about our house."
"Yeah."
After that, Drake was about to go upstairs when Angelo grabbed his hand.
"Where are you going, brother? I'll go with you," Angelo hurriedly said.
She just spanked Patrick, who might take the chance and revenge on her.
Looking at the dependence in Angelo's eyes, Drake cheered up. But he was indeed busy now. So, he gently fondled Angelo's head and said in a tender voice, "This is Patrick, your fourth brother. He will show you around."
Patrick was shocked when he saw the scene. He looked at Drake with surprise and cautiously asked, "Drake?"
"What?"
It was still the familiar cold voice. Patrick winced and was sure that this was indeed Drake. But he had never seen him be so tender to anyone.
Did he act like that because of Angelo's amnesia? Patrick wondered. Then he looked at Angelo and tried to act like a caring brother.
"Angelo, I'm your brother. Trust me, I'll treat you well."
As he said, he patted himself on the chest. Angelo was Angeline's brother, so he wanted to get along well with Angelo.
Maybe Angelo would talk something good about him to Angeline. Then he could approach Angeline easily. The more Patrick thought about it, the more he felt that it was a good idea.
Angelo looked at Patrick and agreed reluctantly.
Even if Patrick had a bad intention, he couldn't beat her. After all, she had practiced karate for a long time. She was proficient in it, but she believed that Patrick was no match for her.
"Angelo agreed, Drake. Don't worry. I'll take care of him. You can do your work now."
Patrick pulled Angelo aside as he spoke, which, however, wasn't what Drake wanted to see.
