The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 745

Drake just narrowed his eyes and answered coldly. Then he gently brushed Angelo's hand down and turned to go into the study.
Seeing that, Patrick widened his eyes. He looked at the back of Drake and sighed, "You are amazing, Angelo!"
He found that Drake was not so cold when he faced Angelo. Amnesia did bring Angelo a significant benefit, he thought.
"What?"
Angelo didn't understand Patrick's words and asked in confusion. Then she walked into the study.
"No. You can't go in. Drake is working now."
Patrick hurried to grab Angelo's hand when Drake's cold voice sounded, "Come in."
Angelo then glared at Patrick defiantly before entering the study. Patrick was more surprised because Drake had never allowed anyone to enter his study while he was working.
But he owed all Drake's unusual behavior to Angelo's amnesia. When he thought of this, his eyes lit up, thinking he might enjoy such a privilege if he had amnesia.
Following Angelo, he entered the study. Soon, he felt something was wrong and saw Drake's gaze. He forced a wry smile.
"Get out," ordered Drake.
Patrick winched and hurriedly ran out of the room.
He cautiously closed the door before patting his chest. If he ran slowly, he might suffer.
"Amnesia is amazing!"
Patrick sighed again when he thought of how tolerant Drake was of Angelo. Then he rolled his eyes, thinking of Angelo keeping Angeline's number.
Inside the study room, Angelo looked around and then looked at Drake's computer.
Noticing Angelo's gaze, Drake stopped typing and looked at her.
"You can find a book to read if you are bored," said Drake.
"Yeah."
Angelo looked away at once, casually took a book from the bookshelf, and started to read. But she had been peeking at the computer.

Drake noticed her little trick, thinking that it might be easier for Angelo to take over the business and share some responsibilities if "he" watched him handling businesses.
So, he shifted slightly so that Angelo could see what was on his computer.
However, Angelo knew nothing about that. She focused on the computer and tried to find out what she wanted.
After a while, she found that they were all about business. She rubbed her eyes, feeling disappointed.
Just then, a chat box appeared. When Angelo saw the name of the sender, she opened her eyes wide.
"Are you available tonight, Mr. Drake? How about having dinner together?"
Drake hesitated for a while before replying, "All right."
"How about the place where we met last night at seven?"
"Okay."
After sending that, Drake turned off the computer. Angelo, somehow, felt stuffy after reading their conversation.
When she saw Drake got up, she withdrew her eyes and pretended to read.
"What?" Angelo asked, raising her head with a confused look when Drake took the book from her
"It's upside down."
With that, Drake put the book straight and handed it back to Angelo, who was quite awkward and smiled shyly.
"If you want to take a look, it's okay. I don't mind."
Angelo opened her eyes wide when she heard that. She knew what Drake was talking about. But Drake used to hate people watching him while he was working, why was he suddenly changed?
Seeing Angelo's dumbness, Drake smiled and pinched "his" face.
When he touched "his" smooth skin, he realized what he had done. Hurriedly, he withdrew his hand as well as his smile.
Angelo didn't notice that. She put the book back and looking at Drake with her big eyes, "Can I watch you work?"

It was indeed a big bonus. She had to confirm it in case that Drake regretted it.
"Yeah," answered Drake. Then he picked up his suit and walked out.
Looking at Drake's back, Angelo thought of something. She took a look at her wristwatch and found it was half-past six. Drake must go on a date.
Thinking of their chat, she felt upset. Anyway, she didn't want Drake to go alone.
She hesitated for a while and finally bit her teeth, convincing herself that Abby was the one who kidnapped her, and she had to go with Drake to observe Abby.
Then, she walked out and saw Drake in the living room. Quickly, she ran to his front.
Drake furrowed as Angelo gasped. He smoothed the folds of his suit and asked in a cold voice, "What's wrong?"
"Who's Abby?"
Angelo remembered herself as a girl who had amnesia now, so she gave a blank look with confusion full of her eyes.
"An actress."
Drake answered though he didn't understand why Angelo ask that.
"Are you going to have dinner with her?" asked Angelo, who didn't cover the fact that she had seen their chat.
"Yeah."
Drake nodded and turned to walk out.
Angelo hurried up, "I want to go with you, Drake."
Drake stopped when he heard that. Then Angelo bumped into him.
"Oh, my nose!" mumbled Angelo, rubbing her nose.
Drake reached his hand for her but then withdrew it and looked away.
"What are you going to do?" he asked.
Angelo thought for a while and stood straight.
"I… I have to watch you for my sister," she said, lacking confidence. But she couldn't think of a better excuse other than that.
"Your sister? You remember her?"
Drake looked at Angelo anxiously. According to the doctor, Angelo could think of things at any time.
"No. Patrick told me."
Angelo was anxious. She couldn't tell Drake that she remembered everything, so she could only put it on, Patrick.
It sounded like something Patrick would do. He might see Angeline and Drake in a room, misunderstood them, and then told Angelo, Drake thought.
So, Drake didn't take it seriously and walked to his car.
"You don't worry about that," said him.
He didn't like Abby at all. He went to see her just to confirm something.
"No. I have to go. Like a good brother, I have to do it."
Angelo looked quite serious, which to Drake, was quite funny. But then he considered that it was related to Angelo, so he nodded to agree.

The Doormat Villainess – Adrianne
A villainess is a character who has always been diametrically opposed to the heroine of a romance drama. What makes a person a good villainess? The fact that she's unabashedly beautiful and charismatic, yet also rotten inside? The fact that she's incredibly loathsome, greedy, and selfish? That she's reasonably strong enough to be a hurdle, yet ultimately powerless in the face of a determined heroine? That despite all these character flaws, a Villainess's greatest virtue is unwilling to give up until the last of their breath, in pursuit of her personal desire?
