The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 755

But she couldn't do anything about it. She looked at Drake with a flattering smile and then looked at the door.
"Come in," she said, gritting her teeth.
Then two men came in. Angelo looked at them carefully and found that she didn't even know them.
While she was puzzled, Drake's cold voice sounded, "This is Ward Carter and his son Ted Carter."
Then, Ward Carter shouted to Ted Carter, "Apologies to Mr. Angelo now!"
Ted was not willing to submit and glanced at Angelo. Seeing that, Ward promptly kicked him. He then looked down at the floor.
"Sorry." Ted finally uttered the word in a low voice. But anyone could hear his reluctance.
Ward couldn't care much about that. He looked at Drake with an ingratiating look.
"Mr. Drake, my son apologized. Can you stop blocking the funds?"
Angelo came to understand what was going on when he heard that. She looked at Ted and finally remembered him, one of the men who hit her yesterday.
When she thought of that, she was pissed off. Looking at Ted's reluctant face, she smiled.
She smoothed her shirt and looked at Drake.
"I didn't hear him apologize, brother," said Angelo, with a grievance.
"Don't push me too far, Angelo!" shouted Ted.
If it hadn't been for Ward's threat of driving him out of the family, he wouldn't have come here to apologize. It was such a big shame for him. He was not convinced. So, Angelo's words were like the trigger of his anger. When he heard that, he wanted to hit Angelo again.
Drake's face darkened, and he just kicked Ted on the ground. It scared Ward, who knelt to the ground at once.
When Angelo saw Drake's quick kick, she was surprised. But then, she was shocked by Drake's power as Ward knelt to the ground.

"I don't think Boom is a good place for the Carters."
Hearing that, Ward hurried to held Drake's leg and begged, "I'll kick Ted out of our family right now. Please let us stay here, Mr. Drake."
In Boom, no one dared to do anything against Drake, whose words were like the law. The company of Carter was in Boom, and Drake's words meant to make it broke.
Ted was shocked when he heard Ward.
"How could you say that, father? I'm your only son."
But, "Get out, you trouble maker! You bring the family nothing but trouble," shouted Ward to Ted.
Then, Ward turned to look at Angelo with supplications full of his eyes.
"Mr. Angelo. I beg you, please talk to Mr. Drake. I can't live without my company."
When Angelo saw Ward begging, her heart softened. She just teased Ted and didn't want to ruin their company.
"Just forgive him, Drake, all right?"
Drake looked unhappy when he heard that. He glanced at Ward and then pressed a button above the bed.
Soon, some doctors and nurses came in. They were surprised when they saw the scene in the room. Then they turned to Drake and respectfully asked, "What's wrong, Drake?"
"Get them out of here."
At the cold sound, Ward's face was filled with despair. Then he just fainted and fell on the ground.
"Dad."
Ted hurried to support Ward up and then looked at Drake in fear. Right then, the guards came in and drove them out.
Seeing that, Angelo was a little uncomfortable. After all, these were all because of her.
She raised to look at Drake and tentatively asked, "Isn't that a bit… excessive?"
"Yeah," answered Drake coldly and looked at Angelo, frowning. Then he picked up the cup in front of him and said in a low voice, "But you'll learn it someday."

The Thorne looked prosperous, but there were many problems. He did this in front of Angelo to make her adapt to it as soon as possible and share some responsibility.
But Angelo didn't understand that. She looked at Drake in confusion.
"Take a good rest," said Drake with a hint of helplessness in his eyes. Someday, Angelo would understand him, he thought.
He finished the coffee and put the cup aside. Then he stood up and walked out. Looking at his back, Angelo felt that he was lonely.
She shook her head and gave a bitter smile. Anyone would love to be with Drake, a man at the top of power and wealth. Besides, he had so many families. How could he feel lonely?
For the next few days, Drake didn't come to the hospital. Daisy was busy dating Darren and had no time for Angelo. Doris, however, visited Angelo a lot.
Through the newspaper, Angelo learned that Ted had disappeared from Boom with his family. And the men who were involved in the accident also brought a bad impact on their families.
While Angelo was lost in thought, "You can leave the hospital today, Mr. Angelo," a calm voice sounded. She agreed.
After completing the discharge formalities, Angelo got out of the hospital. Hale was already waiting for her at the gate.
"Where's Drake?"
Angelo looked around but didn't see Drake. Somehow, she felt disappointed.
"Mr. Drake is busy with the contract issue," replied Hale while driving.
"Yeah," Angelo answered calmly and picked up the book next to her.
"We are home, Mr. Angelo," said Hale.
Angelo then put down the book when someone rushed to her and hugged her.
"Stop it, Daisy. Get off now," said Angelo helplessly.
Yes, only Daisy would be so intimate to her.
"I haven't seen you for days. I miss you. Don't you miss me?" Daisy let go of Angelo, spouted, and looked at her in a grievance.
Angelo couldn't do anything about this girl.
"Then why don't you come to see me these days?"
She pinched Daisy's face and pretended to blame her.
"Darren asked me for something."
Daisy looked guilty. She looked away and muttered.
"He's more important to you than me, admit that."
Angelo flipped Daisy's head, turned, and walked into the house.
Daisy hurried to follow up, "No, I didn't. I have got some clues about the thing you asked me to do."
Just then, a maid served coffee. Daisy picked up the coffee and looked at Angelo with a cunning smile.
"What did you get?"

Join him and his comrades as they accomplish the first of the Good Necromancers legendary tasks. ***** So, quick update for those who pay attention to this section. I'm finally coming out of finals for this semester, and I plan on getting the whole already posted section revised. It's taken me a while to change the necessary things, as I had to start all the way over, but I've at least got the rough drafts for all the revised chapters. These should be going up within the next week or so, still have to go to work, but I am here, I haven't forgotten or dropped the story. Just trying to make this the best work that I can produce. P.S. I will be releasing additional stories. They are all going to be in the Good Necromancer world, however the others will give you an idea on how humans in other locations survived and have thrived.
