The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 826

Different from the harmonious atmosphere in the Thorne house, the Watts House was quite gloomy.
Ivy was pissed off when she learned that both Angelo and Angeline entered the genealogy as the leading family of the Watts.
"Let alone Angeline, why did Angelo enter the genealogy? He is a Thorne now, isn't he?"
"Just because he is a Thorne, we can't refuse him. We can't offend Drake," Rachel was as angry as Ivy. Angelo entering the genealogy was no good to them, but they couldn't refuse it.
The man who came with Angelo kept warning them that Angelo was the sixth young master of the Thorne family and he would get whatever he wanted.
"Drake has started the purchasing of our company. Except for a few senior shareholders, other minority shareholders have sold their shares to the Thorne," said Parker.
Hearing that, Ivy suddenly panicked, "Will we lose our company?"
"Hump! He wishes!" said Parker confidently.
Ivy didn't understand it and asked, "What's going on, dad? You said the senior shareholders didn't sell their shares, but they loved money most. Didn't Drake offer a high price to them?"
Parker sneered, "It was about an issue twenty years ago. They just don't want to die together."
Ivy didn't understand what he was talking about but learned that Drake couldn't purchase their company.

Corrine should leave at noon. Angelo and Zoey sent her to leave. Angelo didn't want Corrine to leave, but she had no energy for other things right now except for getting her home back and punishing the family of Ivy.
Angelo breathed a sigh of relief as she saw the car taking Corrine away. Just as she turned to go back, she saw a car stopped outside the gate.
"Who's that?" asked Zoey, walking over. Angelo didn't want to join in until she saw the man coming out of the car was Clarence!

Clarence also saw Angelo and waved at her.
Angelo was confused. Did Clarence come for her?
While she was guessing, Hale came to her, "Mr. Wilson wants to see you, sir."
He did come for her!
"Let him in."
"Yes."
Hale opened the gate, and Clarence trotted to Angelo, "Hello, Angelo!"
"Hello, Mr. Wilson. What's the matter?"
"Yeah. Do you know where Angeline is now?"
Clarence looked at her anxiously. Angelo kept calm, "Angeline? I didn't see her these days."
"Well, here's the thing, the movie she acted in is about to air, and then there is the nomination of the best actress. I can't find her these days. So, I come to ask if you can get in touch with her?"
"Of course. Please come in first, Mr. Wilson. I'll call her."
Angelo smiled guiltily and invited Clarence into the villa. Then she told him that her phone was in her room and then went upstairs.
Angelo stayed in the room for a few minutes before coming out because she was "making a call to Angeline".
"Angeline said she has been staying at home. She had just entered the genealogy and had to deal with many things," said Angelo calmly.
But Clarence looked confused, "She's at home? I went to her home but…"
"She has had a messy schedule recently. So, she might be sleeping too sound that she didn't hear the doorbell," Angelo interrupted Clarence. She might be exposed if Clarence kept doubting her.
"That's good." Clarence was relieved when he heard that.
Angelo smiled, "I've told her about the nomination. She said she's prepared. Don't worry."
"All right," Clarence nodded and stood up, "Thanks for your time, Mr. Angelo. Since Angeline is fine, I should go."

"All right. Goodbye, Mr. Wilson."
As soon as Angelo finished her words, Drake walked in and saw Clarence here.
"What are you doing here?" Drake didn't sound polite. He seemed to be hostile to Clarence.
Angelo hurried up to explain, "Mr. Wilson comes for Angeline's nomination of the best actress. But everything is settled down. He's about to leave."
"Yeah. Goodbye, Mr. Drake," echoed Clarence.
Drake looked at Angelo with a look of regret in his eyes. Angelo wondered why he looked at her that way.
Luckily, Drake didn't ask anything more, and he just went upstairs.
After Clarence left, Angelo kept thinking of the eyes Drake looked at her.
"Angelo." Zoey suddenly came and curiously asked, "are you close to Wilson?"
"No."
Angelo looked at her, confused, and felt she had something to say.
However, Zoey shook her head in disbelief, "Check the news. You are on headlines."
After that, she left.
Angelo stayed for a second. Somehow, she had a sense of foreboding. She took her phone to check the news, and then her pupils narrowed.
"Director Clarence and Angelo met at the airport to travel to France!"
Below the headline, there were pictures.
Looking at the forged news, Angelo suddenly thought of her meeting Clarence at the airport.
Just then, she found a paparazzi taking photos of them. She had thought that it would be proof of her going abroad, but she did not expect it to be misinterpreted in this way.
Angelo suddenly understood why Drake looked at her like that. Did he read the news and mistook her for going to France with Clarence?
She thought about it and found that it was reasonable. Both her and Clarence's tickets were at six a.m., Drake might misunderstand them if he checked her flight.
She walked to the door of the study and knocked after hesitating for a moment. Then she pushed the door open a little. "May I come in, Drake?" he asked.
No answer.
Drake might be angry, she thought.
The Thorne had been valuing their reputations, even the playboy Patrick had never got on the headlines, but now she was an anomaly.
She glanced over the comments below the news, most were guessing her relationship with Clarence, but no one doubted the authenticity of the headline.
If Drake thought like that, she would have one more sin.
She sneaked out home and then went abroad with another man. Oh, god!
It was so overwhelming. She had thought it all passed, but it was mentioned again, she might not get away this time.
"Angelo."
While she was thinking, the voice behind her startled her that she almost fell on her knees.
"Brother…"

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
