The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 851

The shareholders suddenly changed their faces and looked at McCoy in shock.
How could he know the company was purchased? They wondered and even Parker didn't know it.
"What? Am I wrong?"
The wound on McCoy's neck hadn't healed yet. So he couldn't move well. But his eyes showed his majesty.
"Well, Mr. Watts…"
The shareholders wiped the sweat on their forehead. Everyone would be nervous when they couldn't hide their secrets anymore.
"I know everything. You sold the company, but now you are pretending nothing happened. It must be Drake's order, isn't it?" said McCoy calmly. He didn't sound angry at all, as if it was none of his business.
The shareholders just stayed there. They didn't expect that McCoy knew more than they thought.
For so many years, they only heard of this adopted little son of the Watts family. Rachel had heart disease and had given it to Ivy, so she didn't have more kids.
McCoy's parents were members of the leading Watts family but later died in a car accident twenty years ago, leaving him alone in this world.
The accident not only took away his parents but also his face, making him disfigured. Rachel didn't drive this poor kid out because he was not a threat to them. But since then, his treatment was completely different from before.
People familiar with the Watts family members all knew that the parents didn't like this adopted kid. After his compulsory education, he had been staying in the backyard and not going anywhere else.
Because of his disfigured face and eccentric character, Rachel thought it would shame her family, so she didn't want him to go out.
When he was about to grow to eighteen, Rachel couldn't stand him anymore because somehow, he always happened to appear when they had a visitor. The visitor was usually frightened by his ugly face, taking him as a ghost.

Finally, Rachel talked to Parker. They decided that they would drive McCoy out of the house when he was eighteen. Then they wouldn't see him.
But on his eighteenth birthday, a lawyer came for a visit before they asked him to leave.
From the lawyer, Parker learned about the tremendous legacy left by McCoy's parents to McCoy. Parker changed his mind. If he could get the fortune, he could make up for the loss of his company.
Finally, McCoy kept staying at the Watts house. However, no one knew where the fortune was except for him. So, no one could reach for the wealth except for him.
With the hope of getting the money from McCoy someday, Parker kept him at his house.
But things changed. Angelo broke the peace of the Watts family, and problems kept coming to the Watts group.
In the end, Parker made a bet that he had to guarantee the well-being of Rachel and Ivy, no matter if he succeeded or not.
Now it proved that he was right. He went to prison, but Rachel and Ivy still lived a life as before.
All these were because of the man in front of him, McCoy!
McCoy knew about the purchase of the Watts group. And he also knew that the acquirer was Drake. He even knew that Drake asked the shareholders to behave as usual at the Watts group.
Should these things be known by a man who just had compulsory education?
Of course, the answer was no.
If a man didn't go out for decades, he might be out of touch with society. How could he know everything?
But he didn't seem to care about all these as if he could give it up at any time.
"If you don't speak, then I will." McCoy looked down and rolled the ring on his finger.

"Ivy will take over the company later. You can keep acting like before. If she discovers anything, I will reveal what you had done twenty years ago ahead of Drake," said McCoy calmly. But he looked quite oppressive.
The shareholders looked at each, thinking that they had underestimated McCoy.
They had been threatened by Drake just now. Now they were threatened by McCoy. But they were surprised that the two asked them to do the same thing.
What was that? Why did they hide it from Ivy and Rachel rather than telling them directly?
Finally, the shareholders left with their heads hung low, totally different from the look when they came.
When they walked to the door, they saw Angelo standing there, looking quite serious.
They had no touch with Angelo but knew "him" well. After all, "he" had a twin sister, who just won an award. Now, her posts were all over the streets.
Angelo was standing at the door, neat short hair, decent suite, expressionless. She was kind of like Drake. No wonder they were brothers.
Even though Angelo was not a kid of the Thorne, he behaved like Drake after spending so much time with him.
"What are you doing here, Mr. Angelo?" a man greeted her.
Angelo looked at him and said unhappily, "I'm Watts from the leading family. Can't I come here?"
"No. I didn't mean that…" The man got nervous, worrying that Angelo would ruin his career. After all, Drake cared about Angelo most. Everyone knew that.
Angelo ignored him and went into the house. These men were then relieved and left at once.
As soon as Angelo entered the house, she saw a middle-aged man came over.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Angelo. Mr. McCoy had gone to take a rest. Please come when you have an appointment with him," said the man respectfully. But he was waiting for Angelo to leave.
Angelo had never met this man at the house before. Except for him, she didn't know anyone here because they were all new.
Angelo sneered. McCoy did cover himself more deeply than her since he could do that.
She didn't know he had such great capacity even though she had known him for more than two decades in her previous life.
"Well, wake him up. I don't think there's a big problem with him since he only spent one day at the hospital."
With that, Angelo sat casually on the sofa, looking not about to leave.
The man hesitated, "Well…."
At this point, Angelo saw McCoy coming out of his room.
"Go ahead and do your job. You don't need to stop, Angelo. He can come here whenever he wants," said McCoy to the man. His voice echoed in the living room.

Oracle by Default
Oracles are known as divine handouts passed down from the Holy Creator. There are times when evil exist and the Holy Creator wishes to intervene, to which the title of the Oracle is bestowed upon an individual to become the Creator's will in physical form. The Oracle's mission is to then gather heroes from different races to purge the evil. “For the reckoning that is to come, all are tested. Thou shall be the shadow of which valiant souls shine and guide thee through harsh trials. Till oblivion comes, do not turn astray but to continue down the path thou chosen to walk. Lastly, thou must not see eye to eye with, but against the world.” A mysterious man engraved a seal onto Kihet before saving him from being consumed by the flames. The seal seems to have a strong connection with the legends of the Oracle and a Tower with no entrance that suddenly sprouted near the village. Throughout years, his efforts to study the strange tower remained fruitless. Then one day, the village decided it was time for his friends and him to become envoys to look for the potential evil the Holy Creator detected. Before Kihet can set off on his journey alongside his friends, he has his own set of problems to overcome against the village. Note: It's slow. There is romance, but it plays a small role that I don’t know if I should add it in the tags. Main story starts at Chapter 12. Chapters before do contain meaningful context for the rest of story.
