The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 857

Drake wouldn't change his mind. Corrine knew what and gave up persuading him. Her words would only make things worse.
Angelo looked at Drake in surprise. She had never expected that Drake would lock her at home because of the rumor online. That was insane!
"Brother, Clarence, and I…"
"Angelo!" Zoey suddenly interrupted Angelo's, explaining, "Drake asked you to go back to your room. Just stop talking!"
"Just go. You know, you just can't get out of your room. It's not a big deal," said Patrick.
Angelo gave up speaking but looked aggrieved at Corrine.
However, Corrine said the same words to them, "Just go to your room. Don't offend your brother." With that, she blinked her eyes at Angelo.
Angelo knew Corrine was concerned about her, but she was quite unhappy.
"No! I have nothing to do with Clarence. They wronged us. These are completely fake news! Why should I be punished?"
Angelo looked at Drake, with tears full of her eyes. She felt so aggrieved!
She might be the first person in this family who offended Drake like this.
"You have nothing to do with him? Then why did he pick you up at the junction rather than the gate?" Drake questioned her. Angelo started to panic.
"Hale!" Drake called Hale, who came over at once.
"Who did Angelo say she would meet this morning?"
Hale glanced over at Angelo and could only answer honestly, "Mr. Angelo said he would go to Miss Angeline."
Drake sneered and said aggressively, "Why did Clarence come to pick you up for going to Angeline? Don't we have a car or driver?"
Angelo bit her lips. Tears kept falling down her face.
"Because… you asked me… not to see Clarence… I don't want to annoy you…" Angelo choked, sounding quite pitiful. But Drake kept a straight face, looking quite cold.

"Now that you know why I am angry, why don't you go back to your room?"
Angelo stayed. It turned out that Drake punished her not because of the rumor but because she met Clarence?
Zoey couldn't stand it anymore. She got up and pulled Angelo upstairs. If Angelo wouldn't give in, she might have a more severe punishment.
Angelo lost in her thoughts and followed Zoey upstairs.
In the room, Zoey tried to comfort Angelo, "Listen, Angelo. Just stay at home for a few days. Apologize to Drake when he cools off. Then, nothing happened."
Angelo looked at her in confusion. Zoey never got along with her. Why did she help her now?
"I'm not wrong. Why should I apologize?" Angelo was irritated. She had nothing to do with Clarence. Why did Drake forbid her from meeting him?
Zoey stayed and then put on a straight face. "Is Drake too nice to you that you forget your identity?" she asked.
"Although you are an adopted son of our family, the rumor will affect our family. Thorne shouldn't suffer such a big shame!" she continued, "You should know who you are. If Drake doesn't value you, even a maid doesn't bother to talk to you."
Bang!
Zoey slammed the door and left.
Angelo stood in the room. It was quiet.
Right. She was too impulsive.
Just as Zoey said, Drake treated her too well that she almost forgot her identity and the awkward condition.
Had it not been for Drake, she might not survive, let alone getting her revenge.
She bent down. Tears welled up.
"Oh, Angelo. Are you crying?" A familiar voice sounded.
Angelo was startled and looked to the voice only to see Palmer open the window and jump in.
"How… how do you get up here?"

"Climb," replied Palmer in a relaxed tone. He came to Angelo. There were tears full of her eyes and face, making people want to protect her.
"What? Drake made you cry?" Palmer wiped the tears from her eyes. Then his hand moved to her chin. He clenched it and raised it. There was her Adam's apple.
Angelo didn't speak but felt that she was too close to Palmer. So, she took a few steps back and kept a distance from him.
"What are you doing here?"
"I heard you cry and wanted to comfort you. So, here I am."
Angelo spouted and looked at him, "Does Drake know you're here?"
"I don't think so. Drake would have rushed here if he knew I'm in your room." With that, he sat on a chair and looked at Angelo up and down.
"You told me your sister is an actress. I watched her movie and found that she's the same as you," he continued.
Angelo tried to look calm, "We are twins. Of course, we look the same."
"Right. But even twins have some differences in height and body."
Palmer's eyes were so sharp that Angelo couldn't look at him but said, "What do you mean? Can you tell my sister's body and height from the movie?"
What people look like in movies can be very different from what they look like in real life.
Palmer laughed and apologized, "Sorry if I offend you. I just found that your throat is quite different from your sister."
Angelo didn't know what to say. Others would have suspected her had it not been for her throat.
"So, again, what are you doing here?"
She didn't know what Palmer wanted. He couldn't climb up to chat with her.
"I'm bored, so I'm here. Then I heard you're crying. Did Drake bully you?"
Palmer mentioned Drake again. Angelo looked away and chose to remain silent.
"It seems that it's true," Palmer got an answer. Then he walked to Angelo's front and put his hand on her shoulder, "Do you want to go out with me?"
Angelo stayed. She wanted to go out. After all, she needed to see Clarence as Angeline. She couldn't always stay here.
But…
As Angelo thought of Drake, she was scared. If he found out her sneaking out, he would be angrier.
"What? Are you afraid?" Palmer seemed to see Angelo through and looked at her jokingly.
"I…"
