The Rise Of Nathalia Carter Chapter 890

She hadn't come back as Angeline for a long time, so now she just felt a little complicated. She lifted the suitcase, which was a bit heavy, just like her mood now.
Pushing the door open, Angeline entered the living room but didn't see anyone. She was surprised. Hasn't Drake come back yet? But as she heard from Daisy, he had been discharged from the hospital yesterday.
Just then, she heard some noise behind her. Angeline turned back and saw Drake walk to her step by step. And his face just looked quite serious.
"Dra… brother…"
But Drake sneered, "Oh, you haven't forgotten me!"
Angeline forced a smile, licked her lips, and said, "No. You're the one who treated me best. How can I forget you?"
"All right. Go unpack your things," Drake lifted Angeline's suitcase and walked upstairs.
"Brother… what…"
Entering the familiar bedroom, Angeline found everything was the same as she lived here. For a moment, she just didn't know what to say.
"Get over your jet these days and go to work next week." Drake left after saying that.
Standing in the room, Angeline looked at the familiar things and felt so complicated. After a long time, she gave a long sigh, "I can't change my fate anyway!"
Angeline had informed Daisy in advance, so Daisy didn't ask much when she learned that Angeline was with Drake.
The following day, Angeline, sitting at the dining table, squinted her eyes, looking exhausted.
"Time to take pills, Mr. Thorne." Aiken handed the pill bottle and a glass of warm water to Drake.
"Yeah," Drake replied and took the pills with water.
As Angelo, she shouldn't know anything about Drake's injury. So, she asked in concern, "What's wrong, Drake? Are you ill? What pills are these?"

Drake took medicine and handed it to Aiken before answering, "Nothing. Just some stomach illness. Let's have breakfast."
"Yeah," replied Angeline.

Recently, Daisy had come to Angeline as her agent and professionally arranged a new movie for her.
Because of the identity limitation, Angeline had no time to shoot. Finally, she went to Drake.
She came to the study and knocked at the door. "Drake, I want to talk with you about something," she said.
Drake closed the computer, turned the chair to face Angeline, and then crossed his legs.
"What is it?"
Angeline bit her lips and tentatively said, "Well, I want to move out for a while. Can I? Actually… Angeline had to shoot. She had not been quite good. You know, many things happened to her. I just want to move over to accompany her for a while."
Drake's face became straight since he heard the words "move out" and didn't have much change after hearing Angelo's explanation. Looking down at the ground, he didn't reply.
Angeline held her breath to wait. She had prepared the words after hearing Drake's explanation.
After a long silence, "All right." Drake said, "But you have to come back every Friday evening."
Angeline paused for a second before smiling. "Copy!" her voice sounded delighted.
Life seemed to have returned to the past. Angeline switched her identities and ran between Green, the shooting set, and the Thorne house.
Angelo kept her promise to go back to Thorne' house every Friday. Drake went home early that day. It seemed that both of them were satisfied with the state.
In a flash, three months passed. When the new movie finished, a closing party was inevitable.
At the party, the crowds were so high that they drank a lot, and many made a toast to Angeline. Angeline had to drink some. When she left, she was dizzy and drunk. She got in a taxi and went back to the Thorne house.

Staggering to the living room, she felt the whole world trembling. The couch seemed to be close to her, but she couldn't reach it.
"You… even you trick me! When my brother comes back, I… I'll ask him to throw you out!"
Angeline was so drunk that she just threw herself on the ground and started to cry.
When Drake came back home, he saw the mess in the living room. He, always being calm, was shocked. After a second, he walked over.
Hearing the footsteps, Angeline turned her head back. Her eyes blurred, and she was confused for a moment. Suddenly, she hugged Drake's legs and started to cry, "Brother… why are you so late? That couch… it bullies me! I can't reach her. You… teach it a lesson for me!"
With such a heavy thing, Drake couldn't move. As he squatted down, he smelled a strong smell of wine. He frowned but couldn't help coaxing her, "What do you want to do with it?"
Angeline didn't answer for a moment. She might be confused by the question. After a while, she said in a broken voice, "I… I don't know."
Rarely, Drake was amused by her. But soon, he noticed a fierce gaze. "Drake, why do you laugh at me? Even you bully me…."
Drake's smile deepened. Angeline raised her head to look at the cruel smile. Suddenly, she squinted her eyes and got up to bite the annoying thing.
Hum? It's soft. What?
Angeline's tone felt the softness while biting it. It tasted good. So she bit it, tasted it, and kept smiling.
Drake bore his body straight. The tinge and softness on the lips made his brain blank for a second. When he sobered up, the desired fire had already burned from below.
Holding the last bit of sense, Drake tried to push Angeline away. But Angeline just had his neck and clung to him like a koala.
Her tongue licked him at random but couldn't find an entrance, which made her get worried.
The little soldier had prepared his gun to fight. Drake knew it. Finally, in a hoarse voice, he forced a sentence, "Angeline… Do you know who I am?"
Angeline was unhappy with the "jelly" she was eating. Irritated, she perfunctorily replied, "Dra… Drake."
The word was like a fire burning Drake's sense into ashes. He held Angeline up. Subconsciously, Angeline clenched Drake's waist tight with her legs. But somehow, she felt something hard pressed against her stomach.
She opened her mouth to say something when they were covered by something soft.

Some 200 years have passed since then, and those hopeful ones have finally found a place to settle on. Firmly planting their flag in paradise, they called this untouched land "Eden" and declared the beginning of a true new age, the age of After Eden.Trouble, however, seemed to still be hounding them, as barely three years after its founding, Eden finds itself at war with a seemingly uncommunicative and uncompromising enemy that far outclasses the odd pirates they were used to facing. A new era of peace, marked by an immediate conflict. The Crisis on Planet 9
Welcome to the dream colony Planet 9, where the streets are stained by blood and the buildings are filled with human remains. The creatures roaming among the abandoned cars and flying vehicles resemble almost to perfection the mindless cannibalistic zombies born from the fictional nightmares of mankind. The cities were built in the retro style of the 21st century, but the technology of the 24th century is ever present, mostly within the bodies of those mortally challenged monstrosities. After all, what turned them into these things was not an evolved organic virus, an alien disease, or some sort of magical artifact, it was the corrupted and reprogrammed nanobots within their bodies. Originally, they were meant to heal them and help them access the tech around them, but now they were the origin of this disaster. Among the rotting dead and the Nano-Z, as the survivors called them, Kardian Pandora awakens two months after getting bit by one of them. A young teacher at the local Resonance High, foolish and naive in his own way, but now driven by the Sapient AI in the nanobots inside his body to hunt down other Nano-Z and learn how to survive.
