Is That A Wisp? Chapter 262

Fink wasn't wrong to think like that. After all, both Krune and Feifei have some protective measures that they got before entering the Dalin Universe. Not to mention that Krune got another one from Elder Lagan as well. If Fink pushed things to a dead-end, Krune or Feifei would end up using their trump cards.
On their way back, Dilo looked at Krune and Feifei like they were some kind of monsters. Krune's Attack Power, Speed, Divine Sense, and Control were simply ridiculous.
As for Feifei, Dilo had seen lots of domains from Soul Forging Realm cultivators and above before. So he could also tell that Feifei's one isn't exactly a Domain, but somewhat a copy of it. Still, he doesn't have even that yet. Sure, he is now in the Soul Forging Realm, but only now that he entered this Realm did he finally start to feel the presence of Laws.
A domain needs Laws to be manifested, so he still had a long way ahead before he can create one. That means that Feifei is already a lot closer to getting one than he is at the moment.
Dilo has an average talent, which means that he was even weaker than Fian and Fien when he was at their level. Both Krune or Feifei wouldn't need to go that far to deal with him at all!
'I gambled when I decided to follow Krune that day. I indeed wanted to repay his favor, but I was still somewhat afraid that I would regret this decision. But now, I couldn't be happier with the results. Not only can I repay everything, but It will probably become a turning point in my life too.'
With his resolve strengthened, Dilo was going to make sure that he would make things right to not let Krune or his fiance down.
But it was at this moment that a question came in his mind.
"Oh, right! How come you two got together? Don't get offended by what I'm going to say. But someone as talented as she fell in love with a wisp. That isn't something that you see every day. What did you do that you were successful in stealing her heart? If possible, teach me how to do it as well."
Krune laughed after hearing that question.
"You are asking the wrong one. The one who made the first move was not me, but Feifei instead."
Since Krune had Dilo's life in his hand, he wasn't afraid of telling him her real name.
Dilo was taken aback. He was 100% sure that the one who made the first move was Krune. After all, how many girls out there fall in love with wisps?
Feifei also laughed while thinking about the past. Of course, she still felt a little embarrassed when this kind of topic came out.
"You could say that it was because destiny was and was not involved. Since Krune decided to trust you, I will tell you this much. I have a Destiny Major Core, so I'm especially talented in predictions and seeing others' futures. But this isn't something that I like, I see no meaning in life when I already know what will happen. So I try as much as possible to never use this power unless necessary."

"But Krune is different. His future is something that I simply can't see. He was the only one that I have ever encountered with this ability. It might look weird, but this is what made me select him instead of all those geniuses that my father forced me to meet."
Another bomb was dropped on Dilo's head. He had heard about the Ten Major Cores, but someone of his level had never had the chance to meet one before. Now, right in front of him, a young girl with a Destiny Major Core was talking to him like friends.
But it was then that he also noticed another thing.
'Holy shit! Good thing that I decided to stay loyal to them. If not, this little girl would definitely have found out by checking my future. Dilo, oh Dilo, you must make sure to never provoke them.'
Krune then said.
"Oh, by the way, I have the Elemental Major Core. So if you have any doubt about Elemental Control, I probably can give you some help with it."
Dilo looked at Krune dumbly. His processing abilities stopped right there and then.
"I... better stop thinking for a while."
Ruik then put a hand on his shoulder.
"I know how you feel, brother. Don't worry, you will get used to it."
Dilo smiled bitterly, he didn't know if this is something he wanted to get used to.
Krune's group finally arrived at the teleport formation just in time for the teleport. Krune showed his blue token once more, and his group teleported to the next Planet.
After arriving there, Krune's group found out that the teleport formation that will send them to the next Planet in their trip would only be activated 3 hours later. Because of that, Krune and everyone else decided to find a Mission Hall branch.
It was easy to locate one after asking for some information. Krune then accessed the Mission Hall network and used his credentials to connect to his branch Hall in the Riren Planet. He updated the status of the Mission and closed it. The Mission Hall would need to confirm if what Krune said was true or not first, so he wouldn't get his payment straight away.
"Alright, we still have some time. Should we go to eat something? I haven't tried anything new in a while."
Feifei, Ruik, and Tiane nodded. They soon found a good restaurant close to the teleport formation that they would use. Krune then took a look at the menu and asked for everything that he hasn't seen before.
Feifei, Ruik, and Tiane asked some dishes as well.
As for Dilo, he stayed on the side without asking anything.
Krune looked at that and frowned. He couldn't help but talk in a very serious tone.
"You want to follow me, fine! You don't want to get your Soul Slive back? That's okay too. But I will absolutely not accept someone who doesn't know how to appreciate good food. So you better ask for something as well."

Dilo felt a chill on his back and looked surprised at Krune.
'Aren't you a wisp? How come you love food this much?'
Or so he wanted to ask. But in the end, he decided to do as he was told.
"Cough, cough. Let me check the menu."
Feifei and the others laughed out loud. Probably only the death of a friend would matter more to Krune than food.
Krune tasted all the dishes and once more asked the waiter to let him talk with the chef. Dilo was as puzzled as ever, why would he ask to speak with the chef? Did something taste so bad that he wanted to complain?
Tiane noticed how Dilo seemed lost and explained to him.
"Krune loves to both eat and cook. I might as well tell you that he is an amazing chef. He can do miracles even with common ingredients. In the future, make sure to not refuse when he asks you to join the meal."
Feifei nodded and added.
"Few things make Krune as happy as seeing others enjoying his food."
Ruik laughed and also said his part.
"Breakthroughs? New Realms? Learned a new technique? To hell with that. I can guarantee you that none of those are as important as learning how to cook a new dish for him. Haha!"
Feifei and Tiane nodded as well. That was indeed a very accurate description of Krune's personality.
When Dilo finally thought that he had got an idea of what type of wisp Krune is, new information dropped on his head just like that. Who out there would put more importance in a new dish instead of a breakthrough?
Krune returned from the kitchen around 30 minutes later. On his face, one could see a big smile. Dilo could even hear a humming sound coming from him. Anyone could tell the Krune was in an excellent mood.
"Are you guys done eating?"
Feifei and the others nodded and stood up. Dilo just followed them absent-minded.
Sometime later, the next teleport formation activation time arrived. Krune once more showed his blue token, and soon, everyone disappeared in a flash of silver light.
In the next few days, Dilo came to understand just what kind of wisp Krune is. Never cares about others' opinions. Loves to cook and eat. Loves, even more, when others' eat his food. And hell, his food tastes amazingly good! Dilo never cared much about food before, but even he is starting to take some gusto for it.
Dilo also used the chance to ask Krune and Feifei about the Laws. After all, Dilo only now could feel their presence. Krune and Feifei, of course, didn't hold anything back and helped him as much as they could. One can't forget that the first step to learning Laws is to be able to feel their presence.
Because of the difference in the time of Teleport Formation activations, Krune's group took almost four weeks to arrive in the outskirts of the Takave Galaxy. But thanks to that, Dilo had Krune and Feifei's personal teaching about laws during all this period. Not to mention that Krune also helped him with his Elemental Control.
The better one is with Elemental Control, the easier it is to understand their Laws. Because of that, Dilo was finally able to understand the initial stage of his very first one. A Wind sub-law called Gale. Of course, Dilo didn't start it after Krune and Feifei taught him. He had already been practicing ever since he entered the Soul Forging Realm. Krune and Feifei just helped to reduce the time needed for it.
"So this is how you feel when you can understand a Law. Still, no wonder a Major Law is so hard to get. I can barely see any of the other sub-laws of Wind, let alone have to learn and then fuse them together."
Krune and Feifei nodded.
"We know how it is."
Dilo had paid so much attention to his time practicing that only now he noticed something.
"Oh, shit! Sorry, because of me, your own time comprehending yours was reduced by a lot."
Krune laughed and then shook his head.
"Don't worry, I still finished learning one law of each element during the time Feifei and I were teaching you."
Dilo felt grateful nonetheless. But it was then that he noticed one thing.
"Wait, one Law of each element during the time you were helping me? How many elemental Laws did you learn?"
Krune shrugged his shoulders and said.
"Well, they were just the first Law of each element, so I had it quite easy. I got to learn one Law for Earth, Wind, Lightning, and Water. Since I already had one Law of the Fire and one Law of my Tribulation Lightning, I have six at the moment."
Feifei sighed and commented.
"It's frustrating, isn't it?"
Dilo nodded subconsciously.
Feifei looked at Krune and continued.
"During this time, all I did was learn three elemental laws. I still need to learn one from Fire, Lightning, and Earth."
Dilo almost vomited blood! You learned three, and you are complaining?!
"Cough, cough. Let's... not talk about it anymore."
Dilo immediately tried to change the subject before his confidence got utterly destroyed.
"Look, it's almost time for the next teleport formation to activate. This one will finally send us inside the Takave Galaxy, so we shouldn't lose it."
Krune looked at the time and saw that there was still an hour before it.
"Isn't it a little too early?"
Dilo insisted.
"Who knows? They might decide to activate it early today."
Krune thought that it made sense and followed.
As for Feifei, Tiane, and Ruik, they just laughed at the scene. How could they not know what Dilo was thinking?
