Is That A Wisp? Chapter 265

Krune's group soon appeared in the Wisp World.
But there was a problem, or better, it is a problem only for Feifei and Dilo, who are humans. The fact that the few demon bests or wisps that were in human form were not using clothes!
Feifei immediately covered her eyes while Dilo pretended that he didn't see anything.
As for Krune, Ruik, and Tiane. It was as if nothing happened at all.
Krune looked at Feifei and noticed that she didn't look well.
"Is there something wrong?"
Feifei looked at Krune's puzzled face and didn't know whether to laugh or cry. But she also noticed that Ruik and Tiane seemed to be the same way. She then got close to Krune and whispered in his ear.
Only then did Krune understand what was happening, which made him laugh a little.
"I see, that's why supervisor Erbel talked with Dilo and you like that. Indeed, clothes are basically a thing that humans use, demon beasts had never cared about it to start with. So in this wisp world where humans are scarce, they simply don't need to bother wearing them at all. I guess there isn't any rule stating it either."
Feifei nodded her head while looking down.
"I'm human, after all. Even though those in human form are still demon beasts, it doesn't change the fact that they look exactly like humans! What should I do?"
Krune then pondered a bit and said.
"I understand now! Simply put, the issue is that they are not using clothes in their human form while we are. Very well, if that is the problem, let's just all undress. That way, you won't need to feel embarrassed any more for looking different from the others."
Feifei looked at Krune and felt like giving him a kick! The worst part is that the Feifei know that Krune isn't kidding. This wisp absolutely believes that the reason that she is feeling embarrassed is that she looks different from the others with clothes on.
But the final blow came from Tiane and Ruik.
"Oh! So that's the problem! Very well, then."
Krune, together with Ruik and Tiane, then started to take their clothes off. As demon beasts, no one between those three felt anything wrong in being naked.
Krune looked at Feifei while taking off his clothes and asked.
"Are you not taking yours off too?"
Feifei finally came back to herself and used her Spiritual Energy to kick Ruik, Krune, and Tiane at the same time.
"Taking off your head!"
Even Tiane didn't know why she was kicked. She thought she understood why humans used clothes. But there are almost no humans here, so what's the problem?
As for Dilo, as someone already over 200 years old, he could at least control his emotion while seeing that scene.
Krune and the other two looked at Feifei, puzzled.

Feifei knew that if she didn't explain it, those three would never understand her predicament. Only after going through all the problems she had with it, did Krune, Ruik, and Tiane give up taking off their clothes.
Tiane then asked Feifei.
"So, what will we do then? Are we going back?"
Krune pondered a bit more and then gave an idea.
"Why don't you close your eyes and use your divine sense to move? That should be enough, right?"
Feifei had to admit that it was a good idea.
"Alright."
Krune once more felt puzzled. Divine Sense makes everything a lot clearer, and in a 360-degree view on top of that. But that wasn't all. Unless the clothes had some kind of protection like a formation, Divine Sense could pass directly through it, which possibilities cultivators and demon beasts to see what is behind them.
But for some reason, humans had never felt anything wrong with using Divine Sense. Even though it was also easier to look, It was as if they didn't consider using Divine Sense the same as seeing with their eyes.
'Well, I will just think about it as another weird human habit.'
Finally, with this issue resolved, Krune and everyone else moved outside the teleport formation.
There was a wisp already waiting for them there, and he saw everything that happened. Still, he wasn't the least bit surprised. Although there are almost no humans in the wisp world, now and then, they would be visited by some of them because of some business. This wisps had presenced the clothes issue quite a few times already.
"Hello, my name is Iago. Elder Qartian asked me to guide you to his office."
Krune and the others didn't know who Qartian was, but they at least understood that it had something to do with wisp protection law.
It took them almost an hour and quite a few teleport formations to move around the place. But finally, they arrived at the management office. Iago then brought everyone directly into Qartian's office and left. By this time, Sineg had already left as well and gone back to his registration office.
When Qartian saw Krune, a big smile appeared on his face. Because there were two humans with Krune, he decided to greet then in his human form while using clothes. He is quite used to doing business with the human race, so this much wasn't anything for him.
"Welcome, welcome! My name is Qartian, and I'm one of the elders responsible for the wisp protection law. I already received the report from the wisp world 13 about your condition. Your name is Krune, right?"
Krune had to give his identity in the registration office back in the wisp world 13. So it didn't surprise him that Qartian knew his name.
"Correct. I came to take the test to see if I could take part in the wisp protection law. I heard that as long as I have it, almost no one will try to look into my identity. I recently discovered a new concoction method for alchemy, but I don't want to be pursued because of that. That's why I'm here."

Krune didn't hide anything since they would find out about it sooner or later. So he took his time to explain the whole situation in detail.
Qartian was taken aback. He thought that Krune had come here to get help to cultivate, alchemy didn't pass through his mind at all. Still, that's a good thing as well.
"I see, not only you have amazing talents with cultivation, but you are also an excellent alchemist. How exactly did you reach this level in only 12 years? Even with your Elemental Major Core, that shouldn't be an easy feat without the proper help."
Krune and everyone else was taken aback!
"How do you know that I have an Elemental Major Core?"
Qartian heard that question and laughed out loud. He then turned on the room's monitor and showed the recording of Krune going back into his wisp form. He then looked at Krune and explained.
"Only a Major Core could ever change the color of a wisp. Since you got the Elemental Major Core, it goes without saying that you look just like the rainbow. Haha!"
Krune finally understood.
"I see... Indeed, I have never met another wisp with a Major Core in my life, so I didn't know that the other Major Cores also had this effect."
Qartian added.
"If you didn't come here, you probably would never find one either."
While Feifei, Ruik, and Dilo got puzzled, Krune immediately understood the implications of those words.
"I understand what you mean. First, wisps have small life spans. Chances are that even with a Major Core, that wisp will not reach the Core Formation Realm. Obviously, his ethereal body-color won't change."
"Second, even if they do reach the Core Formation Realm and above, the wisps' mains predicament is still there, once again, the life span. Because of that, most likely, there will be a giant blank between the time that two wisps with Major Cores appear. By the time the next wisp with a Major Core and cultivation in the Core Formation Realm or above arises, the previous one probably had been dead for a long time already."
"If I didn't come here, I would never find out about it. Of course, I had my assumptions about the fact that my colorful body had something to do with my Major Core, though."
Krune then looked at Qartian with a serious expression.
"Still, considering the way you said that, am I right to presume that there is a wisp here with a Major Core? Also, one at the Core Formation Realm or above?"
Qartian smiled and nodded.
"You are really a wisp, being smart has always been an innate talent of our race."
"You are correct. We do have a wisp here in our wisp world that also has a Major Core. In fact, I will have to introduce you to her later. After all, a talented Major Core Owner wisp is something way too rare for us."
Qartian then went back to his table and sat on his chair.
"But first, let's talk about business. Are you planning to leave the wisp world after you get into the wisp protection law?"
Krune nodded.
"I plan to return to the Rimeria Solar System, whether I'm successful in taking part in it or not."
Qartian narrowed his eyes and then sighed.
"Don't worry about the wisp protection law, I have already added you into it."
Krune was taken aback.
"What about the test?"
Qartian shrugged his shoulders and said.
"A wisp in the 7th stage of the Core Formation Realm, 12 years old, and has a Major Core. If we consider you to not have a chance at the Divine Soul Realm, then no other wisp in this Universe has it. The test is basically for that. To make sure that the wisp really has a good chance of reaching it."
Qartian then changed his tone.
"But there is something I have to ask you. Can you consider the possibility of living in our wisp world?"
Krune then answered with another question.
"Wasn't the wisp protection law so that I could live outside the Orluke System without problems?"
Qartian nodded.
"It is, but a Major Core Owner Wisp is just way too essential for us, we can't afford to lose you. Especially at this moment."
Krune had agreed to be part of the Rimeria Solar System Alchemist Organization. It was also Amark who arranged everything for Krune to make this trip, so he couldn't just ignore him.
Just as Krune was about to refuse, Qartian added.
"If your problem is with the Alchemist Organization of the Rimeria Solar System, you can still continue being part of it. We can also make arrangements so that your achievements as an Alchemist will be recorded as being part of their Organization."
Krune was taken aback.
"Is that even possible?"
Qartian nodded. He then started to type something on his computer so that he could check some information.
So far, Feifei didn't say anything since it was a wisp issue, but she felt that something wasn't right.
"I can see that you really want Krune to stay, but why is that?"
That was also the question on Ruik, Tiane, and Dilo's head.
Qartian then looked gently at Feifei.
"And you are?"
Krune then answered in her instead.
"Wulia Feier, my fiance."
*Crack*
Suddenly, the keyboard that Qartian was typing broke in half.

I'm still in the phase of editing a lot of my earlier chapters. But unfortunately, I haven't yet found any time for it. Daily updates are to be expected till we reach chapter 100. If your comment motivates me, I might upload up to five chapters.^^
