Spending My Retirement In A Game Chapter 499

With the fake's head now flying through the air, the body immediately dropped to the ground. It seemed like the fake's base health was pretty high, so he didn't immediately die after being decapitated. He would be dying soon, but for now, he was still alive and didn't fall apart into light just yet.
Eisen caught the head of the player in his hand and looked right into his eyes with a deep glare, "If you ever even mutter my name, I'm turning your life into hell." The old man said, and then just started holding the head by its pretty long hair before turning around toward Merc and Cial.
"That goes for you two as well, you know? Putting this whole show into scene without knowing who you're actually dealing with." Eisen told them, just so slightly chuckling as he was doing so, "You're real idiots, aren't you?"
Soon, the fake's head just disappeared in a bright light, since the player died, and Eisen started holding his Demonic blade back toward Merc and Cial as his transformation once more became the Yang transformation.
But it seemed like Merc and Cial were both still extremely terrified at what they were just shown, even if the NPCs all somehow relaxed the moment that Eisen changed his transformation, if only a little.
"C-Cial!" Merc yelled out, "Let's do 'that' now!"
In response, Cial swiftly turned toward his brother and nodded his head as his two wings of light just disappeared. And from what Eisen could tell with his mana-sight, that was because he was gathering his mana inside of his staff to send it into the ground, probably to get that giant magic circle under Eisen to activate.
And as Cial was doing that, Merc grabbed an item out of his pocket. It just seemed like a glass-sphere with black mist inside of it on the outside, but with his truth-sight, Eisen could see what it really was. Inside of that sphere was a monster. And a pretty strong one as well, at that. It seemed to be a giant Minotaur wielding two axes the size of Merc's whole body.
Eisen was pretty confused why they chose this kind of effect for the Magic Circle underneath him, but now he understood. The Magic Circle was supposed to transform something, although Eisen at first thought it was supposed to be Merc or Cial. But apparently instead, it was this Minotaur.
With a fair amount of curiosity, Eisen just swung his sword over his shoulder and waited, something quite off-putting to both Merc and Cial.
Either way, seeing that Cial was seemingly ready to go, Merc threw the glass sphere onto the ground. It shattered into pieces and let a black mist escape that was soon formed into the body of a minotaur double the height that Eisen now was.

It was standing right in the center of the magic circle that was placed underneath the area, the one that Cial just activated. As the Minotaur let out an eardrum-shattering scream that scared more people than Eisen's Yin form, considering that he had focused his attention on the fake instead of the people, its body was enveloped in a bright light as it grew even more in size than before, now becoming roughly 15 meters tall.
It's dark brown fur became pure white, and it was suddenly wearing an armor made of compressed mana, seemingly.
It seemed like Cial wasn't the only one that fed mana to the magic circle, but all of his goons in the crowd did as well. And with a rather curious smile, Eisen looked up at the creature before turning around toward Cial.
"How did you actually do that?" He asked them, "Let me guess, you merged this Minotaur's body with that of a Light Spirit?" The old man inquired, and Cial started smiling broadly.
"That's right! A monster like this is many, many times stronger than it usually would be! And it's under our complete control! So, Eisen, you're done!" Cial exclaimed, just as the Minotaur swung its axes at the old man.
But Eisen just kept standing there with a light smile, slowly opening one of the boxes in his apron to make a large scale appear. And with all the strength in his body, Eisen held that scale in front of his body. He easily managed to resist the damage of this Minotaur's initial attack, and then placed the scale back into the box as he looked back at the Minotaur.
"Hmm, I see. Seems like a bit of tough luck for you guys." Eisen said as he looked into Merc and Cial's direction, although the two of them didn't really seem all that convinced.
"Heh, and why do you say that? Just because you've got a pretty good shield?" Merc yelled out, and with a bit of a chuckle, Eisen shook his head, facing away from the Minotaur. And it seemed like the Minotaur wanted to attack him again, but just before then, it turned away and looked at something else on instinct.
An instinct that came from the Light Spirit's side. But at that point it was basically already too late, because its leg had already been wrapped by a Darkness Spirit that started climbing up its body.
The Minotaur started swinging its axes around wildly, to try and somehow get out of the restraint that it was being put under through this Darkness Snake, but before it could actually get anything done, its thick magical armor was cut through in a single stroke as if it was butter.

As it was flailing around in response to see where that attack came from, the Minotaur really wasn't able to spot anything. And that was because the attacker actually was invisibile. Invisible through a layer of magic paint placed on their body.
Attack after attack, the Minotaur kept being damaged, the magical side of its strength completely ignored, until it was forced to drop down onto its stomach due to its limbs being cut up.
Once the minotaur was laying there, it seemed like the control-ring that was placed around its neck was broken open, as a man stepped up directly in front of the minotaur's face, simply placing his hand onto its face during its heavy breathing.
"Shh, boy. All's good. You're alright now. Sorry to have put you in so much pain." Jyuuk said with a light smile, trying to calm the minotaur down as much as possible. While Jyuuk was doing that, Xenia had been doing something to the Minotaur's body, seemingly trying to extract the light spirit again.
And that was something that soon seemed to have worked, since the Minotaur shrunk back down to its normal size and completely lost its magic armor. It's fur was still white even now, probably as a side-effect, but Eisen could now spot a spirit standing in front of the High-Elf.
It seemed to be a White Knight with a large sword in his hands, and armor that covered its whole body. With a kneel, it looked up at Xenia, who simply placed her hand onto the Spirit's forehead as her Darkness Spirit climbed up her body again.
With that, these two had completely taken over the force that was meant to kill Eisen within a matter of minutes. But of course, it wasn't just those two there. Besides them, there was of course also Brody, whose Maroon-Steel Alloy swords were the reason he could cut through the magic armor that easily.
And right next to him stood Evalia, who turned the others invisible to make this work. While Eisen slowly deactivated his demonic transformation, the old man stood there in his regular form, albeit still five meters in height, and stared forward at Merc and Cial, as the ten-meter tall, angry Minotaur stood behind Jyuuk. The Light Spirit that used to be merged with it was behind Xenia. Both of those originals standing beside Eisen together with Brody and Evalia.
They managed to get all five of them online at the same time, luckily. Evalia brought her own capsule with her from LA, and they just had to get Xenia's capsule from her apartment. And then Jyuuk and Brody could use Benji and Sophia's capsules for this little while.
"What?!" Cial yelled out in complete and utter confusion, unsure of why this was all happening, and Merc was unsure just the same. Although to a rather different extent. He immediately turned around and just started to run away into the crowd, seeing that the situation completely turned south for them.
But the moment that he actually entered the crowd, a certain half-dragon swiftly threw him back into the open space with a swing of his giant sword.
"Not today, bud." Kiron exclaimed as the cloaking that he was given by Evalia wore off, and Merc immediately remembered Kiron from back then, immediately trying to run away into another part of the crowd, although all that happened was that he ran into another Half-Dragon, at which point all of them stepped out of the crowd and took out their weapons.
"Sorry about this, Merc, Cial. But we're going to take over your little plan for now." Eisen explained to them with a smile, before starting to look around at the crowd, which was more than just impressed at what was unfolding in front of them.
"Everyone, listen closely! My name is Eisen! The Original of Mechanical Arts! These four Are Xenia, Evalia, Jyuuk and Brody, the Originals of Magic, Artistry, Living, and Combat." He exclaimed, "The man that was fighting here before was not me, he was a fake. A trick to make you think I'm the bad guy here." The old man exclaimed, and more and more, everyone started to speak amongst each other, and as many people as possible wanted to step over to where they were all facing to get as good a view on this speech as they possibly could.
And at that point, Eisen got started with his proper announcement.
"The five of us are soon going to found a country. If you wish to be a part of that country, a country with ressources and diversity above anything you may have seen before, then try your best to join the Guild! Whether you want to fight, craft, experiment with magic, enjoy being in nature, or simply want to indulge in what you love the most no matter how important or grand it is, anyone is welcome!" Eisen yelled out, and immediately the crowd became rowdy.
After all, this was a chance that they never expected to be able to get. Many were just thinking about what they could do to possibly stick out while entering the guild to get a high position in there, while others were simply dreaming.
