Spending My Retirement In A Game Chapter 511

"This is..." Morrom muttered quietly as he looked forward at two more legendary beings than he was used to by now, simply sitting next to each other on a couch while discussing random things that nobody else in the room really understood. Well, nobody else beside Komer, actually.
"...completely insane..." Jekyll finished, taking the liberty to continue Morrom's sentence, and the young man immediately nodded his head, "Yup, that's it... I kind of just forgot to... to..." The elf-dwarf halfling mumbled as he looked around and got distracted by the numerous uncommon enchantments placed around this space that Eisen had been working on since he got here a couple weeks ago. With a broad smile on his face, the old man just started to laugh loudly.
"I'm glad you like the place." He pointed out, "It's technically Komer's. He designed the place together with Evalia. It's really nice, isn't it?" Eisen explained, and then looked over toward the young man in question, "Right, the extra guest rooms were ready already, right?" The old man asked, before Folmirra looked at him in surprise.
"Guest rooms? I figured we would be staying in an Inn for the next week?" She pointed out, but with a smile on his face, Komer shook his head, "Don't worry, this penthouse spans the same area as the mall down there. We have more than enough space." He explained reassuredly and then looked at the children of the five people that Eisen invited.
"We even have a pool up here. It's still pretty hot this time around, so if you feel like cooling down, just let me know." He explained with a casual smile, and they all quickly nodded their heads, even if they didn't directly understand what a 'pool' was supposed to be.
Either way, for now, Eisen called over the others to have the five half-dragon knights carry everyone's luggage to their rooms, because they really didn't have much else to do at the moment, while Eisen chose to give everyone a small tour together with Komer.
And the longer they proceeded, the more everyone just became completely confused and impressed at the things that this place offered.
"I-If ye can afford a place like this so easily, are ya sure ye're gonna need me over there?" Gralmar asked nervously, "Ain't everyone gonna be expectin' this level of comfort?" He asked, and with a slight laugh, Komer shook his head.
"Obviously not." He said, as if it was obvious, "You truly don't understand, huh? Every artificial dreams of getting the true feeling of medieval fantasy by crossing through this world, and that can't be achieved with this level of modernism. I personally care very little for such things, so I made this place look like this, but most artificals will prefer an inn that just screams 'this is where adventurers huddle up'!" Komer explained, and the five here that knew the truth behind the artificials confusedly looked at Eisen to see what was going on.

"Yes, he's an artificial. But despite how young he is, he's the best businessman that I personally know. What he's saying is the truth. We'll give you whatever you need to get everything started though, of course. We have more than enough money." Eisen pointed out, before Komer smugly nodded his head.
"Got that right we do. And in an even more compact way than before. I can store coins more densely now." He pointed out, and Eisen slowly smirked at him, "Oh, perfect." The old man said with satisfaction in his voice, and Komer immediately nodded his head.
"Yup! I just ranked a few of my skills up, and I'm starting to figure out how to make Fate Contr-"
"Komer, let's finish the tour first and then keep talking about that, alright?" Eisen suggested, and Komer slowly nodded his head with a wry smile, "Right, sorry about that. I'm just excited, I'll be leveling up to 200 soon, you know? I can't wait to-"
"200?!" Komer was once more interrupted as the 17 years-old son of Denmir couldn't believe what this guy just said, "How old are you?!" He asked, and while usually, Denmir would have probably made him shut up because of the tone that his son took, right now everyone was just far too curious to say anything about that.
"Eh? I'm 20 right now, but I've just been here a few months now. As Eisen said, I'm an artificial." Komer pointed out, and everyone just kept staring at Eisen nervously.
"B-By the way, what level are you right now again?" They inquired, and with a light smile on his face, Eisen quickly replied, "I'm working on my level up quest to get to level 300 right now. Still going to take a while tough." He pointed out, "Our quests are a bit harder. The only ones of us that reached level 300 so far are Brody and Jyuuk. Jyuuk actually leveled up just a few days ago." Eisen pointed out.
"Level 300..." Morrom muttered with a wry smile, "How the hell did you manage to do that so quickly... You really are a craftsman, right? Not some combatist?"
"You guys gave me my occupation. Of course I'm still a crafsman." The old man replied. And from then on, while the others did stay completely silent during the rest of the tour, they were all just marvelling at the sight of these two people leading them through this giant apartment.
Komer chose to show the others around a bit more alone, but Morrom, Gralmar, Folmirra, Denmir and Jekyll chose to come along with Eisen into his new workshop.
"Alright then." The old man started, "Sorry to push this onto you all this quickly, but I need your help." He explained.

"I'm trying to get Advanced crafting skills. I have the five skills that I learned from you guys at level 99 of rank 4, so they're soon to rank up, so I want to know what exactly I should do to ensure that I can get the advanced variants." Eisen explained ot them immediately, but all five of them looked at each other for a moment before turning to the old man again. Even Gralmar, who didn't have a crafting-based occupation, was aware that Eisen's request was completely ridiculous.
"That's a joke, right?" Morrom asked, and Eisen looked at him confusedly. Was it that hard to get the advanced skill? That's what he assumed after that reaction, although apparently, it was rather the opposite.
"There's no way you're not going to get the advanced variants. And you're also definitely going to get their 'perfected' versions when you hit rank 8 with them." Folmirra pointed out.
"Just the fact that you are you should get you those skills." Morrom added, and Eisen looked back at them with surprise just written on his face.
"Really?" Eisen asked. He heard it was supposed to be incredibly hard to get that skill, but seemingly it wasn't nearly as bad as he thought it was. That, or Eisen didn't really have a clue about how skilled he really was compared to normal craftsmen in this world. Or maybe he just tried to forget about what kind of an existence he really was, and just wanted a little bit of normality.
"I see..." Eisen muttered quietly, "Then I guess I should try my best to simply make the best item I can, huh?" The old man pointed out, and started thinking about what he could try making now.
Maybe something that made use of all five of these skills at once would be a good idea. The old man sat down on the ground cross-legged and started to think about it a little bit when an idea popped into his head that didn't seem all too bad in his opinion, considering that the item would probably be a fair amount of help to Komer around here.
With a light smile on his face, the old man simply chose to speak to the others here about it a little bit, and since they seemed to be quite curious about that idea as well he figured it would be as good an idea as any.
First things first, Eisen started working on one step that he had gone though a fair amount of times already. He created bones out of metal. For this particular one, Eisen figured that an alloy with a high percentage of magic-metal was a good idea, though, just to make it easier for it to move around and be influenced by magic.
Once the metallic skeleaton was done a few hours later, Eisen got started on the next piece where he would be experimenting a little bit. Since he had to find a good way to include tailoring in this build, Eisen figured that it might be interesting to try creating internal organs out of cloth. Basically make them plush-organs, really. Of course he didn't just use regular cloth, but different types of metallic-, magic-, or crystal-variants.
He couldn't just make them out of wool, that would be pretty... instable, probably. Either way, after a while, Eisen managed to properly reproduce a number of internal organs through the special types of cloth, even if they were basically just 'Bags' and 'tubes' at the moment.
Because next, Eisen worked on the special concoctions and potions that he was going to use to fill all of those organs in to make them actually 'functional' to an extent. Eisen was aware that this wasn't actually required, since it would end up being an ego-golem, but since this never hurt any of the golems he made before, it seemed like a good enough idea.
And sure, Eisen could have just asked the others for help on this project, but he figured that would be just cheating and wouldn't end up help him toward getting the advanced crafting skills at all.
Either way, when evening came around, Eisen had finished creating everything and filled the organs up with the different jellies, slimes, sponges, and liquids that he created through alchemy. Then, with the help of mana-thread, Eisen quickly started to put the basic skeleton together and then placed the cloth-organs inside of it. Then came the next special threads around everything to act as muscles before the old man covered the muscles in another thin layer of cloth. But this cloth was even more special. It was actually something like a mixture between cloth and leather, since the thread the cloth was made of was created using actual leather.
And on top of that layer of the leather-cloth, Eisen placed regular leather in a way that you would be able to see the stitches as little as possible and fit everything around tightly. And without even giving this thing any details for its face, Eisen just smiled and closed everything beside the chest up. Because in there, he was about to place another rather special item.

Humanity Extinguished
I had the same nightmare again. The loss of my first life continues to haunt me, but now it aches like an old wound. A more grievous injury to my psyche was the losses yet to come and the inevitable hellscape I would return to again and again. Reincarnation is my curse. The lives themselves weren't all that bad. Losing people you cared about hurt and all, but even that pain was preferable to experiencing the nothingness between lives for months at a time. It was enough to drive anyone mad. Now I have to focus on breaking this horrible cycle. Thankfully I have all the time in the world. Trace is an average man driven by extraordinary circumstances in an indifferent and cruel world. His reincarnations give him a few key advantages but also take a heavy toll on him. He lives in a world where magic is uncommon and underpowered compared to the limitless physical adaptations you can acquire by getting your hands a little bloody. This story is one of hardship and terrible lows, but also monumental achievements and grand heights. The main character has flaws. While some of these flaws will fade with time, others will worsen. Thank you for taking the time to read my synopsis. I plan to release 2-3 chapters a week.
