Those guards who had retreated down the mountain as well as those guarding the peak and the halfway point, started gathering.

They had weapons in their hands as they stared at XIa Fei from afar.

Xia Fei did not say a word as he got surrounded. His face was stoic and his footsteps were just as resolute as before.

“Get him!”

Who knew who yelled that command, but the guards quickly charged toward Xia Fei with their weapons raised, hoping that they could take down Xia Fei through sheer numbers alone.

Pang Hai shook his head and let out a dry laugh. He walked toward the peak behind Xia Fei with no intent of stopping the guards or Xia Fei.

Not long after, the first seven or eight guards who had led the charge fell onto the ground under excruciating pain. Xia Fei was quite measured with his attacks, disabling their ability to fight but not to the point of incapacitating them for life.

The remaining guards quickly retreated, taking one step back each time Xia Fei took a step forward.

The doors to the building opened. Out came four men in black; all of them wielding weird weapons in hand.

One of the men in black carried a rolled up quilt on his shoulder with someone seemingly bundled inside.

Just as they were leaving the door, Xia Fei charged in. Both sides noticed each other.
