I Have A Miniature World Chapter 39

"It's the king!"
The generals would never dare to forget that the glory they had today was all brought about by the gods.
This grace of the god would forever be buried in their hearts, even in their souls.
"Alright, as long as we follow the footsteps of the god, the entire world will be covered with our traces. When that time comes, there will only be one voice in the entire world. The people of god!"
There was a little starlight surging in Eli's eyes, and his voice seemed to carry an irresistible magic power.
At this moment, these four words were all lingering in the minds of the generals.
The people of god.
What a glorious voice. Just hearing it gave them a feeling of hot blood, and they could not help but tremble all over.
...
As the meteor approached, a massive explosion resounded throughout the sky.
The Gravity Empire's army was panicking. Their faces were filled with deep fear as they discussed in terror.
"This god's punishment... we've angered the god and attracted the god's punishment. So we're finished now."
"We've just arrived at the Kingdom of Wisdom, and the god's punishment has already descended. So could it be that the Kingdom of Wisdom really has a god backing them up?"
"Is there even a need to ask? It must be. I heard that the Thunder God Empire was annihilated because they offended the Kingdom of Wisdom."
"Ah, we've offended a great god. Blasphemy against a god. This is the capital crime."
"What do we do now? Are we still going to fight?"
"Fight my ass. We're going to die, so what's the point of fighting?"
At this moment, they were all scared out of their wits. They looked in horror at the approaching giant meteorite, and goosebumps appeared all over their bodies.
Some of them even collapsed on the ground, their foreheads covered in dense beads of sweat. They even threw away their weapons.

The dignity of a god was not to be violated.
All those who offended a god had to die. This was a curse that could not be escaped, and no one could break it.
Those who blasphemed a god had only one outcome, and that was death.
Moreover, even if they wanted to escape, the area within tens of thousands of miles would be covered by the meteorite unless they could escape thousands of miles away from the meteorite.
However, this was simply impossible.
It was simply wishful thinking.
Rumble.
At the rear camp of the army, the meteorites were like a terrifying millstone, bringing with it an aura of destruction as they pressed down.
The meteorites rumbled in the air, bringing with them intense flames. Then, accompanied by ear-splitting explosions, they shook the eardrums of the people below.
When they were still a kilometer away from the meteorite, they could feel the aura of death enveloping them deeply.
There was also a scorching aura that whistled towards their faces. They did not feel hot. Instead, their bodies were ice-cold, as if they had fallen into an ice cellar.
"Is this the punishment of the god? We can't survive."
"This isn't something that humans can contend against. This is the might of the heavens and earth. We are still too rash."
"Actually, there is a god behind the Kingdom of wisdom. If we were to pay attention to the matter of the Thunder God Empire, we would definitely be able to find out the truth. Unfortunately, it's us who were too anxious."
"If we were to do it all over again, I would definitely stop the king from attacking the Kingdom of Wisdom. Our foundation of the Gravity Empire would be destroyed just like that."
All the ministers, generals, and extraordinaires felt as if their livers were about to explode. They could not help but tremble as a massive aura of death enveloped them.
The sixth sense of the extraordinaires was frantically warning them. It was like boiling water vapor, constantly issuing warnings.

But what was the use? The outcome of death was already destined. The only outcome for those who offended the gods was death.
At the same time, they regretted not investigating the destruction of the Thunder God Empire.
In this world, other than a god, who else could freeze the entire imperial city in an instant? Even Aros, who had the Thunder God's Hammer, could not fight him.
To surpass the power of the world's items, other than the high and mighty god, no one could kill Aros without a fair fight.
There were too many suspicious points. They had rushed over without investigating.
In the end, they ended up in a state of collapse.
The famine in the Kingdom of Wisdom was the most suspicious point. Their spies had personally witnessed the miracle. The meteorite-like rice had piled up into a mountain, but they did not believe it.
If they had believed even a little, they would not have been destroyed. But, not only that, even their lives would have been lost here.
If they had not initially attacked the Kingdom of Wisdom but sent envoys to ally with the Kingdom of Wisdom, things would have been different now.
All in all, it was their arrogant personality that pushed them into the abyss.
It was too late to say anything now because the god's punishment had already arrived. After that, they could only use blood to wash away their sins and appease the god's anger.
They thought this way, but Byron had other thoughts.
"What bullsh*t god? He's just a rat hiding his head and showing his tail. Seeing that the God of Gravity, Byron, is here, he doesn't want to come out, right?"
In the blink of an eye, the Gravity King made his move. Even though he was facing a mountain-like boulder, he would not just sit there and wait for death. Instead, he charged forward and raised the Gravity Hammer in his hand, smashing it towards the world-destroying stone.
At this moment, he exploded with all the power in his body. A terrifying and destructive power erupted from the Gravity Hammer. Circles of gravity ripples shook in the air as if he was a demon god in the world.
It was as if he had truly become a god at this moment. A terrifying explosive force erupted from his body. He swung the Gravity Hammer and smashed it viciously against the meteorite.
"He's making his move. The king has finally made his move."
"You're right. We shouldn't be in despair. We still have the king."
"That's right. Our king is a man who wields the Gravity Hammer. He's the god of gravity in the human world. He wields the power of gravity. A mere meteorite is nothing."
"As long as the king personally makes his move, he'll definitely be able to destroy the meteorite in one strike and save our lives."
Everyone discussed animatedly, and hope appeared in their eyes.
This was because Byron had too many heroic deeds, and there were countless of them. Every one of them could be said to be legends, turning rotten into the miraculous, and every single time, he would be able to turn the situation around.
Although facing a meteorite that was as large as a mountain was an impossible existence in the eyes of outsiders, it was not impossible for the Gravity King of the Gravity Empire.
If they were able to do it, then the Gravity Empire's ruler would have accomplished an impossible feat, and it would definitely be recorded in the annals of history.
As participants of time, they had witnessed this great historical moment. After all, they would go down in history together with the Gravity Empire's ruler.
"How is this possible? How can it be so hard? I've used all my strength, so why can't it be shattered!?"
"It's impossible!"

The London Phantom: A Superhero Webnovel
London is an old city. It has survived floods, fires, plagues and the man-made smog of industry. It has stood firm against the armies of Vikings, Saxons, Normans and the aerial might of the Luftwaffe. It has borne witness to dynsatic feuds, civil wars, military occupation and the sin of regicide. Through all these disasters the city has survived not through force of arms, though its walls were once the envy of the world, but through adapting to the times. Enemies become dependant on the city, and the wealth of the world that flows through it, and so become new allies. If the rulers change, then the city welcomes them with open arms, and open lines of credit. In this way the city seeks to preserve its ancient rights and position of power. Superheroes are a new phenomenon. The first superpowered man walked out of the Nevada desert in 1950, and the world was forever changed. Across the planet, men and women with exceptional abilities made themselves known. At first, they were little more than another source of fear in the era of Mutually Assured Destruction, but over time attitudes changed and the concept of the Superhero was created in the city of Los Angeles. From there the phenomenon spread across the globe; superheroes went from being feared arms of the state to a symbol of hope in these maddening times. Times have changed. Sixty years from the emergence of the first superhero, the City of London stands on a precipice. Two years have passed since the madman Fawkes nearly brought down the United Kingdom and the remnants of the Bow Street Runners, London's premier superhero team, are struggling to keep order in a city that seems on the brink of collapse. London stands on a knife's edge, with criminal organisations that once stuck to the shadows becoming more bold, and ancient powers from myth and legend making themselves known. Alexander Laszewski has recently 'awakened' and has become entirely unremakable, effectively making himself invisible to the world. He must use his newfound power to navigate a city on the edge of collapse. If only he could figure out how to turn it off.
