Chapter 92: 92 A huge residence in a prime location of the Imperial City . In one room of the mansion, Guido was terribly uncomfortable .
“Guide . . . What did I tell you?” “Chi, my father . . . oh, that . . . ” “Answer the question . What did you say?”
Duke family with the second longest history in the history of the empire . The current head of the Holzwald duke family . Rolf von Holzwald . He is a middle-aged man with long brown hair and has a tall and calm atmosphere . But his eyes were cold and staring at Guido .
“Le, in the power of Leonardo . . . ” “Her Highness” “Incorporate in the power of His Highness Leonardo . . . ” “Yes . No matter who wins, let the Duke of Holzwald remain influential . What did you do to that? “
Quietly, Rolf tells him, prompting Guid to talk with his eyes . Guido shakes his head with a frightened expression .
“I couldn’t help it! Arnold suddenly got sick and didn’t listen to me! Everything was bad!” “Guid . . . Don’t let me down any more . Answer my question What did you do? “
A gentle and gentle question . However, there was inevitable pressure behind it . Guido shrugged and turned away from his eyes .
Trans la ted b y jp mtl . c om “Oh, I made Arnold angry . . . ” “His Highness, why don’t you learn?” “I can’t put it on!” “That’s so irrelevant, you’re staring at the person underneath . . . Did you stick your ass?” “Well, that’s . . . “I don’t think I’m angry!” “Attacking others is a dangerous act . You can be counterattacked, so you have to anticipate a counterattack when attacking . He said that he did not anticipate a counterattack when the rank higher than himself attacked the upper prince . It can only be stupid . “” Oh, stupid !? I ?! “
Surprisingly, Guid floated with a look at his pride being hurt and looked at Rolf with a steeper glance, but as soon as Rolf narrowed his eyes, he deviated immediately . He struck the floor with his outrageous anger and kicked the floor as often as he could .

“I knew you were bullying Arnold, probably because she was strictly educated every day, and she was so angry . But do you know why I didn’t stop? “” Well, that’s . . . because he’s a little prince . . . ? “” Is it more and more stupid . Good or bad? I wanted to learn . If you attack others, you will see a painful eye, but you haven’t had the chance to learn, because Arnold didn’t fight back, I’m sorry, and you’re grown up With so many surroundings, I thought you were an adult, but you weren’t an adult at all . You were more childish and stupid than I imagined . ” “I’m already a good adult!” “If you’re a good adult, you’re going to fix it on the surface . Your opponent is the son of the emperor . You didn’t do it, and you got a counterattack from your Highness, at a very important and very critical time, you hit back . It didn’t happen if I saw a painful eye on her, because Arnold was so grown up from an early age that only you grew up arrogant and childish . It’s a shame”
Guid bites his lips as if he were praising Al . This is because while in a situation where you can be degraded, you must not be in a guid, such as praising Al .
“He’s an adult! Where’s it! I didn’t do anything for a long time!” “Yes . And you were doing everything . ” “Yes! I worked hard, he didn’t work!” As a result of your efforts, you failed my request, exposing your appearance to various nobles, while Arnold made such a result without effort . I’d prefer a lazy sage . . . but what about you? “
Guido raises his hand to hit the object as soon as he can’t stand it anymore . But at that moment . A sharp voice flew .
“Do not move” “Well! ??”

“You left your education up to your wife, because she was doting you, so I didn’t talk more than I needed, but it seemed wrong . Go back to my room . “You have it . ” “Chi, my father! I!” “I hate to say the same thing over and over”
Guido, who is silenced, leaves the room violently, recurring irresistible anger . After that, something broke from a distance . Upon hearing it, Rolf sighed deeply .
“I’m sorry . Father, are you sure you want to enter?”
With that said, this time a younger boy than Guido came in . He is as tall as Guido, but he is tighter than Guido and does not wear unusual clothing like Guido . The refreshing smile was convinced of Rolf’s son . The boy’s name is Rainer von Holzwald . The second son of the Duke of Holzwald, who will be 16 this year . And it is a trace that is regarded as the next head . The mother did not dot as much as Gued because Liner was not as similar to his mother . For this reason, Rolf spoke about Rainer’s education . As a result, their personalities were so different that they doubted they were the same brother .
“Is your older brother rough?” “It’s always the case . ” “It’s worse than usual . You probably didn’t like being glared by Arnold . ” But it’s all his fault, but it’s up to me, I have to solve that . “
Leo’s power has digged into the fight for the throne . He sent Guido to Leo’s power and was angry when he intended to sell his favor . You can see that Leo trusts Al . Offending Al means that Leo’s feelings are the worst .
“To be honest, I don’t think it’s impossible to partner with His Highness, Leonardo, because he has an older brother . ” “I agree . I guess, but Guido has said that he’s been angry at him, who has always been guilty of what he’s doing . We can no longer expect a relationship repair . “” I can’t afford to go . “What do you do?” “If you don’t need it, you’ll have to crush it . If His Excellency becomes Emperor, we won’t be able to exert his influence as before . Even though he is respected as an old duke, he will stay away from power . The way to avoid it has failed . “” Yes . But I think it’s troublesome . “
Rolf nodded at Reiner’s words . The two looked closely at Al, who stared at Guido . Many think Al was angry and Guido was surprised, but they disagreed . That was clearly the eye of the powerful . If that is the case, the enemies will be the Prince of Heroes and the Prince of Wisdom who have been hiding their claws for years . I don’t want to be hostile if I can . However, his stupid son has taken a step towards hostility .
“I should have interfered with the Guido sooner . . . ” “Even if I say, I just give a good answer . I was surprised, but I went with high pressure to ask That’s my personality . I can’t cure it . “” Do you think you can win with such a guid? “” I’ll use it for everything . Then you just need to break up . Just marry the new aristocrat . “” That’s so . It’s very reasonable . It’s possible to take advantage of the fact that Guido is prone to problems . Maybe it’s a hand . If you think before it, we won’t hurt . “
Rolf and Reiner laugh while thinking about that . The evil smiles were both cold .

Follow Vivi on the path of adventure and learning more about mortals (which are no less cunning than most demons), as Hell tries to follow them and ruin all the fun. It's an action adventure with fighting and magic and monster people. Note: This is my first time posting online anything I wrote. And English is not my native language. I try to do a few reviews before posting, but I'm still learning. If you find any errors or have constructive criticism, please tell me! I will be happy if you leave comments. Content warning information: this story includes lots of killing of different sentient beings, but it doesn't have explicit gore. I still put a content warning, because it's better to be safe than sorry. It also contains a few profane words here and there... No sex scenes or traumatic content, I'll try to keep it positive.

The Paths of Magick
Credits: Story by Xcaliburnt. Cover Art by @Bervolart. Magick, the power to bend the laws of reality. All because of a mystical substance known as mana. Mages follow the Paths to achieve power, for there is no more addictive chase. Each Path winds and twists, forcing mages through the flames of adversity and challenge. Though the operative word is "path", the reality is far less straightforward. Instead of a road, Paths are like the branches of world trees, erupting into the heavens, intertwining, and ending in sharp snaps. Only the strongest reach the sky. There are several Paths, and many Ways to walk them—variations of the same Path, and like the stars, they are endless. Magick is the sacred flame that scours the fat, rendering the truest self. Superfluous flesh melting away to show the skeleton of one's being. A chance for ascension—apotheosis. Though not every mage works to godhood, if they survive long enough, It is inescapable. Witness the lives of those that tread the knife's edge of self-destruction. Each one intertwined in their search for answers, revenge, and, most of all: power. These individuals have all lost something precious—irreplaceable—and In search of filling the void left behind, they have taken up the mantle of a mage. Per aspera ad astra. Ad mortem vel divinitatis. (Through adversity to the stars. To death or divinity.) There is no consistent release schedule except my consistent inconsistency. Besides, there’s like a thousand pages worth of content, how can—you already read it? Goddamn. Oh, and there is a very long hiatus between volumes as I intend to edit and rewrite a lot. What to Expect: This story is progression fantasy, so expect a healthy dose of training. It's also heavy on slice of life, and it isn't entirely overarching-plot-driven. Expect characters to live their lives, and not always be on some quest to save the world. There's a lot of magic theory and discussion about it in the story. So, if you don't like impromptu lessons on sorcerous theory by traveling monster slayers, this might not be for you. But if you do like it, rejoice! For there is a lot of it. This is also heavy on prose, purple as a bruised eye. I use outdated, uneccesarily collegiate-level terms and play around with the writing style just for the heck of it. I find it fun to wax and wane poetic, and that might grate on you—I don’t plan to change this aspect of the Paths much if at all. Onto the viewer discretion is advised parts: This is grim-dark/ grim-heart. Take the tags seriously. There will be combat scenes that are brutal and horrifying. Fights to the death tend to be. This is a tale about medieval mercenaries (quite literal killers for hire), man-eating monsters, and eldritch gods beyond the material plane. Beside that, there will be traumatic events that are best left unread. I do not detail certain acts I find heinous enough, instead leaving some parts unwritten but still alludded to if not outright stated; there is simply no graphic narration thereof. This is not for the faint of heart.
